Well ain't this a fun trip down memory lane? Seriously, it's intriguing to see where it all began for SpongeBob Flash games. We can only hope that they'll continue to be preserved for years to come.
12:01 At least he died with a smile on his face. Also, I found it hilarious that they used a Squidward voice clip from the episode “Naughty Nautical Neighbors” for “Mrs. Puff’s Boating School” game
7:17 as an artist I couldn’t let it go unnoticed that his face is not just to small it looks to also be in a difrent perspective than the rest of his head
I grew up with these in preschool man. I also had SO much OLD school SpongeBob merch as a kid… Wish I still had it now. I have a few old pieces like some 2005 McDonalds toys and a 2002 official ceramic of SpongeBob sitting in his chair. But everything else I have is a bit newer but I go out of my way to make sure the ones I get have that old school SpongeBob look.
Unrelated to this video but If I'm aware that Gangster Spongebob image you seen everywhere actually originate from some t-shirts sold on Ebay and this shirts started be sold since a year or two after the show came out.
Another much needed blast from the past, great job man! Also sorry if this sounds sudden, but could you do a video based on some Looney Tunes Flash Games or Toy Story Activity Center.
In the original design of Spongebob, the arts of spongebob and nick com. I taught everyone how to draw SpongeBob and others. I have memorized these! I am working on the original design of SpongeBob SquarePants and am about to restart production of a new season with the original style. I love spongebob nick com.'s pics, designs, games and screensavers. Let’s Save Spongebob Squarepants for all-ages viewing. P.S.: Spongebob like as “wake up the box 4” game.
I've considered it! There are a bunch of WildTangent games that would be cool to do videos on. I'm just not sure if my regular watchers would be up for seeing them 😆
@@lucililium I used to play the free trial a lot. It turns out it was packaged with a bunch of the Polar games and sold physically as part of a 'Polar Sports' collection, which I saw at Walmart one time and bought as soon as I found it. Still have that copy.
Might I suggest taking a look at Nicktropolis Timewarp? Original Nicktrop is gone but it’s a pretty good remake (that’s unfortunately been discontinued by the developer but she made it open source).
OMG OMG OMG! I have watched this video on RUclips with G SMOKE GUY 🐐🚬0⃣3⃣😜🖕💛🖕💛 and Black Eric Cartman and it was awesome! I loved all of the games because they are easy to play! I also enjoy the coloring one because it's fun to play and it got cool colors! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have a lot of nostalgia for Flip or Flop in particular, especially the music. But I should probably stop talking about it, since Patrick might eat the next patty I make.
It doesn't get more nostalgic than seeing Spongebob stuff from 1999. The anchovie game is something I haven't remembered in 20 years. I definitely remember playing a coloring one which had to have been that one and the patty making one feels like I remember it like I'm 99% sure but its been so long. I really wish there was a way to use the internet exactly as if it were the 90s again. It was a completely different experience.
Oh dear god. I remember Run for the Krusty Krab all too vividly. The jellyfish looked absolutely horrifying as a kid and that game over screen where they just loom over you made me have a genuine sense of dread and had me crying, running away. Something about it was just so ominous seeing these creatures with a still image with absolutely no music whatsoever. As if I was expecting a jumpscare. In a lighter note, I absolutely loved Crater Crossing. The music in that game is an absolute jam and I always wanted to reach the end, but honestly even playing it as an adult gave me some trouble I just couldn’t make it.
Jellyfishin' and Flip or Flop where two of my favorite flash games growing up. The Game Over for Run for the Krusty Krab always spooked me. It made me think SpongeBob legitimately died. My brain making the implication that the realistic Jellyfish took over the world didn't help.
I never knew SpongeBob had Shockwave games. Weird since Nick did Shockwave Games until 2005, probably since the coloring book was converted to Adobe flash and I played that version back in 2015
5:00 Loudward moment Loudward be most loud, but Binky the Clown from Garfield and Friends is much louder because...well... 5:52 Things are going well, nothing out of the ordinary, then all of a sudden, Mrs. Puff realizes her student is cheating when she hears this over the radio. Binky the Clown: (through walkie-talkie) HEEEY, KIDS!!! Did you know that SpongeBob is actually cheating? Well, I do, and that's a big no-no for me, the great racer clown in town, Binky! Looks like I'll have to show him who's really the best driver in history! (By the way, that was what I imagined if Binky the Clown from Garfield and Friends attempted to help SpongeBob pass his driving test and SpongeBob was doing good at it, but Binky started to get jealous because he should be with SpongeBob at Boating School too, but Garfield didn't allow it, so he decides to put on his racing outfit, get into his clown-themed race car and drive off to Boating School to show SpongeBob who's really the best driver in history. Binky is best racer ever, and he always got gold in EVERY SINGLE RACE. Oh yeah, and he also has a clown pterodactyl friend named Bessie who loves him so very, very, very much and Binky loves her too. Anyways, this was my interpretation of how Boating School for SpongeBob with Binky the Clown could have gone. Hope you enjoy this funny comment as I did! 😊)
Hey, cool video! As a video suggestion, have you tried "Spongebob Squarepants: Atlantis Squarepantis Square Off" yet ? It has roots as a Flash game for it's first few versions, but later transitioned to a Nick arcade game, and the gameplay itself resembles fire emblem with some additional mechanics in the nick arcade version. Both are playable easily, with the initial versions being called "SpongeBob SquareOff Card Game", on Flashpoint, and the later one is available on Internet Archive. It was attached to Atlantis Squarepantis branding so that it could be used as a tie-in, though the plot itself has little to do with the TV special weirdly enough.
Takes me back to my elementary school days. I remember always getting ticked off Playing Flip or Flop whenever Patrick comes in and eats one of the patties I was about to complete.
5:00 is actually the first appearance of Loudward
september 13 2037 the loud volume incident.
(sniffs cocaine)
Man, it's nice to see these old SpongeBob games. It gives me nostalgia for time I wasn't even alive in...
Yeah I get it❤
I WAS alive at this time.
Nickelodeon, CN, and Disney Channel games made up most of my screentime.
real 😭
The 90s was the time of my childhood. I miss it crazy and would like to revisit again.
Well ain't this a fun trip down memory lane? Seriously, it's intriguing to see where it all began for SpongeBob Flash games. We can only hope that they'll continue to be preserved for years to come.
5:32 Okay, _that_ was hilarious, lol
4:21 I am so glad I also made a Once in a Lifetime joke as soon as you did lmao
You may find yourself, living in a shotgun pineapple
I love how a lot of the sprites are just edited clip art.
Shoot I ended up burning down me ship playing Spongebob Talking Heads 🤦🏼♂️🏴☠️
I like how the krusty krab went from a restaurant that is barely scraping by to THE VERY FABRIC OF REALITY DEPENDS ON THE SUCCESS OF THIS RESTAURANT
5:31 So that was a Squidward voice clip! Why'd they use a clip from him? And why that one? 😂
Squidward is aroused by watching his neighbor fail.
12:01 At least he died with a smile on his face.
Also, I found it hilarious that they used a Squidward voice clip from the episode “Naughty Nautical Neighbors” for “Mrs. Puff’s Boating School” game
10:21 This is like Papa's Burgeria before Papa's Burgeria
oh, phew, good thing those walls in the driving game were labeled, otherwise I'd have no idea what they were
omg I actually love the artstyle of the old Spongebob seasons, idk it's nostalgic and seems more laid back to me.
7:17 as an artist I couldn’t let it go unnoticed that his face is not just to small it looks to also be in a difrent perspective than the rest of his head

2:04 you're not alone there. Slide puzzles and Rubik cubes were never my forte.
Whoa😮 I can see why I’ve never seen this before. They were online when I turned 1!
I remember playing flip or flop all the time when i was super young, it might be one of my earliest memories i can recall
Run for the Krusty Krab will always stick with me. The odd Jellyfish design especially. Thanks for the run down memory lane man!
I swear I remember beating the Boating School game as a kid! Mrs Puff even hands Spongebob his license!
"haha my cursor is bigger than yours"
INSANE FLEX BRUH 😭
Unrelated to this video but If I'm aware that Gangster Spongebob image you seen everywhere actually originate from some t-shirts sold on Ebay and this shirts started be sold since a year or two after the show came out.
Flip or Flop was my favorite!!
subbed just for that talking heads bit 😂 well done
4:23 letting the sponge go bye let the water hold me down.
6:58 SPONGEBOB KRUSTY KRAB IN RUN FOR THE
I can picture that game and a teacher saying: Ok kids, This game is from The ancient year of 1999. Kids: Wow!!! its 2199 now!!
8:52 I'm pretty sure that yellow SpongeBob will go somewhere
6:20 no it’s oh SpongeBob whyyyyy
Yooo perfect time I was about to relax
I played flip or flop when I was a kid thanks for the nostalgia! Also there’s SpongeBob vs the big one krusty cook off for the Nintendo DS
ITS THE JELLYFISH 🗣🗣🗣
Flip or Flop was genuinely one of my favorite games as a kid
I spent way too much of my childhood playing all these games. My parents would even play them too lol.
7:33 Bye, SpongeBob!
slide puzzles... *gets finding nemo gamecube pstd* DEAR NEPTUNE
Ah yes, those are true memories.
I hope you make these SpongeBob web game reviews into a series. The Bubble Bustin’ Game is a certified hood classic.
Flip or Flop is a classic I played many times
Talking Heads appears to use the studio audio files but compressed? Really weird.
Season 1 is peak of the show IMO
R.I.P. Stephen Hillenburg
I can’t believe Spongebob cheated in the 1999 Flash Classic ”Boating School”. So sad it was never re-released
I have such vivid memories of playing Flip or Flop and wanting to send that star into orbit 😂 Patrick always appeared at the worst time
It's a Jellyfish!
i didn't know they were released in 1999, the same year the tv show first aired on nick
Squidward: 5:31 Oh! My Back!
Another much needed blast from the past, great job man!
Also sorry if this sounds sudden, but could you do a video based on some Looney Tunes Flash Games or Toy Story Activity Center.
She's a girl
I’m back man these vids were as good as remembered
I did remember that game of spongebob
The animations on the first one looks hand drawn too.
The game at 6:55 gives me Chinese bootleg videogame vibes for some reason.
YAYAYAYAY this video is so awesome (((:

AHA its the jellyfish
On the topic of WildTangent, have you done a video on the game Penguins? Lemmings clone but its very charming.
I've considered it! There are a bunch of WildTangent games that would be cool to do videos on. I'm just not sure if my regular watchers would be up for seeing them 😆

Actually some of these games came out in 2000.
5:31 - 5:32 "Ohhooooo! My back!"
Might I suggest taking a look at Nicktropolis Timewarp? Original Nicktrop is gone but it’s a pretty good remake (that’s unfortunately been discontinued by the developer but she made it open source).
to be honest the voice clips sound like the recordings from the recording booth and not the show itself
The only one that looks familiar is the one where you go up with the balloon popping bubbles
And who doesn't remember Spongebob?
Nostalgic:-( playing them was my favourite Pas time in 1999 that wasn't righting Weird Daria X pure mail fanfics in fan fiction forums
I really like the Crater Crossing music! I wish I had it in better audio quality. Maybe it exists somewhere...
any chance you could find the one called a day in a life of a sponge? I think thats what its called its mostly a point and click adventure type game
There was one on the Nick site that let you make krabby patties
You don't have the guts to review "Doodlebob and the Magic Pencil" do you?
Yep! Did so in my video called "Good SpongeBob Fan Games"
@@lucililiumyou’re videos are amazing
Nice Talking Heads reference sis!

Where did you get these games?
I visited a few different sites, but most of them are on Flashpoint and the Internet Archive.
2:19 this game looks awesome but it isn't intense when it is supposed to be and the gameplay is off.7/10
OMG OMG OMG! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
spunchbop.
10:58 what game is this?
Im a guilty 24 yr old that still plays SpongeBob games 👁️👄👁️
I love seeing these old, obscure games that I wouldn’t have seen otherwise
I've always wondered how gas can somehow restore Mrs Puff's health...
Her favorite drink!
Oh SpongeBob, why?
11:38 Thats pretty cruel lmao
I have a lot of nostalgia for Flip or Flop in particular, especially the music.
But I should probably stop talking about it, since Patrick might eat the next patty I make.

Lol, where can I see those animation cells with those prices? xD
I found them on a site called Galactic Gallery! Some of them are cheaper than others.
Can you get rid of the auto-generated chapters please?
