Major rabbit hole alert! The band is pronounced "in excess." Michael Hutchence (vocalist) was the former boyfriend of Kylie Minogue, which I why I brought them up. These guys were huge. One of the biggest bands of the 80-90s for good reason. Also well known as one of the best live acts of the time, so I highly recommend you check them out from their live at Wembley Stadium show in 1991. Check out Suicide Blonde, a song he wrote about Kylie. Anything of theirs you listen to or watch is gonna be lit.

These guys were a genre all their own back when. Banger band. Keep going their music makes you body want to move. Many songs are the get up and dance style. Their LIVE performing is crowd frenzy
Fantastic band.. was lucky enough to see them live twice.. Michael their lead singer was a phenomenal frontman..he was said to be a very shy person but once on stage he lit it up..their live show at Wembley was epic..also most of there songs had lots of meanings.. about things like war, peace, acceptance and love

INXS, most underrated band in the world in my opinion, unique sound and a unique singer such as Michael hutchence. You should react to some other hits, here some recommendations: Disappear, Mystify, Never tear us apart, New sensation, Devil inside, What you need, Beautiful girl, Original sin or Elegantly wasted.

The lead singer was very confident and he got lots of amazing girlfriends. Some not so amazing. His confidence shows through his music. Some of his troubles can be heard too, like this one about loneliness. He committed suicide because he didn’t always pick good women and one kept his kids away from him.
