- The plaintiff is a single mother of four who was addicted to crack for 30 years, but now she’s clean. She argues the defendant hit her parked car, so she’s suing for damages. The defendant, who is almost a mother of four, recently moved out of a homeless shelter. She says someone else caused the accident, so the plaintiff should sue him instead.
So getting taken to court turned out to be a blessing. ❤❤❤

I really enjoy JM is because the show takes time to let the people speak on real issues they’ve experienced from real life. There is always interesting information to understand and it’s sad how drugs, neglect and abandonment can impact so many things.

If we would acknowledge the origins of the issue, perhaps we would spend more time addressing and correcting the aftermath. It's like we're stuck in the quicksand of our past. You are so right that things are going by design, just as planned. However, the dominant society failed to realize that destroying others backfires and leads to self-destruction. One example *which was mentioned by JM) is the deliberate planting of crack has led to the opiate epidemic. But the actual worldwide disaster we're all experiencing is beyond humans. And the solution is beyond human power.

I knew from VERY early on that I lack empathy as it relates to adults with children putting themselves at risk to NOT be able to take care of their children…therefore, I couldn’t be a Judge/Attorney in this capacity. It really takes a special person. 👩🏿⚖️
I’m not sure if it’s a lack of empathy or lack of understanding because you can’t relate. It’s something you wouldn’t do and your feelings are fair.

I get giving back but right now she is giving back to her 3 black boys who need all of her! When they become productive and safe individuals that is also a give back to the world.

The defendant was definitely in the wrong here and should be required to pay for the damage to the plaintiff's vehicle. But what's most troubling is that between these two single moms there's a total of 8 children. Speaks volumes

I got a feeling the defendant is in the position she in because of a man not her mom. She is a manipulator and played along with Judge with the drug story. Everything she been through is because of somebody else but she not following the rules. If they're gonna help her they need to make sure she gonna follow through and not keep her hands out afterwards.
