This style of workout is definitely humbling. It drives me nuts now when I see people doing zero ROM speed reps. The slow e centric with deep stretch and pause at the bottom really checks the ego.

Slightly off topic Eric, but your cue on a recent video of leaning forward on cable bar tricep pressdowns really helped a lot. I used to get the most intense rear delt burning at the top of the reps during that movement because of standing straight up and you said exactly that doing that engages the rear delts too much. Leaning forward fixed that problem instantly. Thanks!

I been implanting Eric’s style of always get the long stretch, stay in the long stretch for a few seconds and take like 10 seconds on the eccentric part of the exercise. I noticed huge gains, and I can’t imagine to going back to just throwing the weight around

Learnt 1 new thing today regarding the stretch on the rows machine. I was always stretching over and pulling from the elbow but will definitely try stretching from the side next time.
Cable excercises are actually so much better for everything because of the stretch dumbbells cant replicate that resistance bands work similarly to cables.
Eric, Could you please explain about engaging the core and bracing the core during the exercise, I've very difficulty in engaging and bracing the core during each exercise, Could you give some trips and tricks regarding the execution with controlling the core?
Think of it like getting punched in the gut . You know how when you’re about to get punched, you tense or flex your body ? It’s like that in a sense , you will flex your core and hold that while preforming the exercise
Eric regarding stretching point in single arm machine, usually I feel like my shoulder are also stretched, so Is it okay if during lat stretch my should are stretched, so should I aim towards keeping neural shoulder position and stretching only lats ?
Trying to get my brain to understand how being higher is creating more stretch on the leg extension. My brain keeps thinking that the lower you sit the more stretch you get.
On the leg ext. How is it on the knees like that vs normal? I do a heavy load with normal setup, but I can tell after all the other leg stuff I do, it kills the knees after a while
The bicep and delts were still sore the day after this workout.

I did the assisted dips using your technique ! 5 sets of 12reps assisted by 50lbs. by sets 4 and 5 I could barely get 10 💪🏾
