@darrenfarrell-bn2cb I used to work on cars myself and if there were multiple problems I wouldn't try and fix them all at once. For one thing he never even keeps record of how many hours he puts in on each project and I am almost sure that his wandering around Shauns yard chatting drinking eating etc comes into duty time or other work on tacho regs does he do that input.

Everyone is saying that he is starting one project without finishing the others but I fairly sure there all being done at the same time. Mark is working on the low rider Volvo, Ben is working on the v8 Volvo and the chassis for the four series is off with Darren getting done it’s not like work can only be done on the trucks when Tim is there recording
And then the world will crumble around him at some point….. if he didn’t do RUclips to fund all this crap, he would just be a nobody driving a truck… simple!

Have missed these project build videos! Honestly man, I feel stuck doing long distance class 1, proper miserable and hate it and feel trapped but love watching your vids. Fuck the hate and the idiots I genuinely find it so motivating and inspirational to watch your adventures
Chin up my man, keep pushing yourself and the right job will come your way. Hearing just one person finds the videos motivating and inspirational makes it all worth while. Myself and Tim work extremely hard (even if it doesn't look that way) but comments like yours definitely give us the motivation to push ourselves harder to make the viewers days just that little bit better or even a pick me up.
Who knows what's around the corner for you but keep pushing until you reach your goals.
I'm a class 1 tramper and I love the job, but having a good boss and company makes all the difference. Hope you find some happiness in the job again. Ben you're a brilliant engineer, don't give too much away as we know other youtubers just copy it. Keep up the good work

I think he’s going mounting the engine behind the can hence moving all the tanks to make it more visible and maybe mounting it backwards (when Ben said fwd Volvo)

Being not as wealthy as Tim I can only do model lorrys and I made a tcab scania from a normal one and I had to move the cab back extend the chassis etc so I know what’s going on with that volvo 🤠👍🏻

i went looking for volvo t cabs.. found a converstion kit for £268. thought "f me thats cheap, get it on lads"....then noticed it was for a 1/14th scale model... DOHHH.
Could be a T Cab but with the gear box going that far back i think it will be a lowered center V8 on show just like the racing lorries

Sorry to say there is no original FH Volvo truck with an original V8 out there, they are all custom made with Scania V8 engines after delivered from the factory/dealer. The only Volvo with an original V8 engine is the XC90 five door car where the engine is made by Yamaha.
