In '96 when Tidal came out along with the story how it all came about I was blown away. I thought to myself "This girl is a prodigy." On top of maintaining musical integrity she wrote songs that were catchy and appealed to the heart and common man or woman. I'm just going to say it. This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. From the lyrics (poetry) to the song writing to the vocals. If you love this song do yourself a favour and look up Elvis Costello singing it (this song) in front of Fiona. He said the song struck him. Quentin Tarantino is enamored with her. Dave Navarro wrote her name in his own blood on her dressing room wall. She doesn't get the mainstream recognition she deserves but she's the type of talent that other talent looks up to.

I saw someone say "this is feeling" and it got me thinking about the similarities between Fiona and Jeff Buckley. Fiona channels this powerful emotion in her music and it's absolutely breathtaking. Similarly, Jeff Buckley channels spirituality. It's the same effect of feeling, same effect of songwriting, great vocals and I will never grow bored of either of them.
