Did it myself and replaced my scanner and now works like a charm thanks very easy
Thanks for video, I have a 2002 chevy impala with same set up. And as you said, saved me some money. Appreciate it!
Glad I could help
Not sure if u will answer but if the MAF is the issue like mine after a diagnostic, does it always need replacing or can I just clean it with something and put it back and will the issue come back? Where I live i have a Napa down the street within walking distance and they quoted me 99 after core exchange but 136 plus tax without. I also don't live near a junk yard and since my husband's passing its just me and I have but 1 car to travel with an 03 grand am gt. Please reply before I slap down 100 smackaroos for a new one.
Changing air filter is a 01 Oldsmobile silhouette ?
I don't have a video on that. I am sure there are some out there.
Will this cause the car to crank too long when starting (after the car has warmed up).
?
Fuel pump leaking back and not holding pressure. Put a gauge on the fuel rail.
I have lumina 2003 model 3800 I have maf sensor problems engine sometime low power .
can you make a video on how to fix the gauge cluster speedometer wire where does it link or screw to also how to replace the windshield wiper/turning signal switch, thank you very much keep up the good work and the awesome videos. btw I own a 84 cutlass supreme.
Here is the gauge cluster video: ruclips.net/video/94T3HrFQdkA/видео.html
Classic G-Body Garage for the cluster I need to know where the wire that marks the parking, neutral, drive, reverse etc. is screwed to or clipped on,because when I shift it does not move .
DEPX ONER clips to the column barrel
are you still selling car parts. i am asking is i got into an accident and damage my front passenger side. all i need is bumper and bumper cover header panel and fender. luckily it didn't destroy the grill or head lights. its a 84 olds
I have a bumper and passenger fender.
Wish you would have shown how to replace it. Had a very hard time getting mine back in after cleaning it.
It pops right back in.
@@ClassicGBodyGarage : Wish mine had. Took me 15 minutes to finally get it back in place. But then mine was on a 2000 Chevy Venture having angles instead of straight away. Good video on your part.
Have a 95 Lumina. Starts up fine, then dies 3 seconds later. Everyone told me about mass air flow sensor, seems like a job I can do myself?
Unplug the sensor and see if it still does this. It may run with it unplugged and yes you can do the repair yourself, not difficult.
Is it just me or isn’t the maf on backwards? The arrows don’t line up lol
Did you have a way to test if this was bad?
Engine should stall if you unplug it.
if my car is having trouble accelerating should I pull this and clean it?
It could be multiple things causing accelerating issues. Make sure your cat converter isn't plugged up.
Awesome videos.

YOU DID IT, BUT DONT SHOW HOW...NO VERY HELPFUL.
Others disagree so watch it again.
Do you have to disconnect the battery?
As I a safety precaution I would anytime you messing with a sensor or just working on the car engine.
