You can learn a sign language and the dog will understand it better than a voice only language. It's more of facial expressions, posture etc and that's more intuitive for dogs anyway bc that a lot more like the signals they use for communication.

I'm so glad that this channel posts a lot of pit bull videos. They are sadly seen as vicious dogs by society when in reality it's the human that makes them that way- not the breed.

Sadly the breed has such a bad reputation that it is the first choice for people wanting an aggressive dog, which then raise them to be aggressive, abuse neglect or not socialize them.
Yea, and if they want to blame the breed- we also create that "pitbull" breed in the first place. If we keep digging on the root it'll always go back to us, humans.
That is true. I love pit bulls n I have seen wonderful well behaved ones only. I have been bitten by a dog but the dog was NOT a pit. Every pit I have ever met was wonderful, the owners r great. The other breeds r the ones u should be warned of

Liam truly is the embodiment of what a PITTIE is. He is loving, loyal, eager to please and just so compassionate. They are so sensitive to their surroundings whether their special needs or not, even special needs have heightened senses they know when their human is down and when they're happy. Pitties are the most beautiful breeds out there. It's never the doggo that has bad temperament it's the person behind the furbaby!!

I foster, but I have two of my own which are also rescues. Having your own at home makes it easier to let the fosters go - along with the knowledge that they deserve to have forever homes of their own.
He is just showing them the same love and compassion he was given from his family.

Seeing how pitties are finally getting the good recognition without their name being tarnished on this channel is amazing. Ever since I got my blue nose pittie (Feb of 2020) I instantly fell in love with her. I felt nothing but pure excitement and happiness and was never scared or doubtful about her being aggressive. It truly is the people that raise them that way and give them a bad rap but I’ve seen more and more pitties getting into loving homes with loving families who feel the same; nothing but JOY!!❤️🤗🥰

They’re really special dogs, pitties. The energy they bring is so joyful, their smiles so BIG....I’ve never met a pit I didn’t love. Big head, thick necked, muscled body, GINORMOUS heart, precious sweetie pitties.
This video for some reason for me is the most inspiring one I have seen on the channel. Just imagine having to say goodbye to the ninety-fifth foster puppy. I wouldn't be able to say goodbye to even one. You guys are amazing! I can see also that Liam is really happy and so are you! You guys are gold! I think it's hilarious when people say that pit bulls are just naturally aggressive when reality they're not they were actually bred to be babysitters during Victorian times so that even the male dogs are very protective and loving and kind of motherly they just want to sit in your lap and cuddle and kiss you and nibble on your ears to show you a bit how much they love you it makes me sad that people still have a weird set in their mind about pitbulls I love bully breeds I have bully breeds my kids grew up with bully breeds my son has a blue nose pitbull named Achilles and he's an emotional therapy and a physical therapy animal in my son is the trainer he specializes in pit bulls he trains all dogs but he specializes in Bully breeds because he says he spends about 90% of the time educating and training the owner LOL and teaching them about their breed of dog but he did that with his dog on purpose to prove just how good pit bulls really are I'm so happy for you guys this is a beautiful story

To be fair, pitbulls were originally bred to be vicious. The entertainment at the time was tying a bull to a stake in a ring and having the dog attack its legs to bring it down. The dogs were carefully selectively bred and any animal that showed aggressiveness to humans was put down immediately. So early pitbulls were very versatile, able to be around kids but also able to attack the bulls.
What went wrong in the 60s was people stopped selectively breeding the dogs and just started breeding as much as they could so they could start dogfighting. People trained their pits to be aggressive and made then wear choke chains to look intimidating. They started getting a bad rap.
Nowadays, there are just such a vast amount of pitbulls in the population that the data on dog bites is skewed to make them seem like really vicious animals, while much more aggressive breeds like chows remain in the shadows because of their small numbers.
It's very unfair that they've been given such a lot in life. I absolutely love pits, especially my pit mix, although her energy levels can sometimes drive me to exhaustion 😁

@@once.upon.a.time. yes they were originally made for bull baiting but when they didn't have used for bull baiting anymore a woman took him in and reread them during Victorian times to be babysitters for children look it up it's not a lie so you know I'm not disagreeing with everything else and I think that breeding only be done by licensed people and there should only be a certain amount of those people allowed and I think people need to get some proper education and honestly any dog can be mean it's the owner not the animal because I happen to think that little ankle biter dogs are much more aggressive like chihuahuas Pomeranians I also happen to think that Shar Peis and Chow Chows or more aggressive sometimes it's a matter of opinion or experience with other animals or have never had any issues not once with any type of bully breed

I was walking down my road one day past my neighbors house, and their two dogs (a pitbull and lab) came running up to me. I wasnt scared, even when the pitbull jumped at me. However, he soon proved to be friendly, but the lab bit be twice as I tried to get away. Im not sure if its the breed or how theyre raised, but that situation proved to me its not always the breed thats dangerous. Any dog can be dangerous, not just certain breeds.
- Simplicity there are some breeds that just aren’t family friendly and can’t be expected to be - take the caucasian shepherd dog.

- Simplicity I actually got attacked by my previous neighbor's lab. All I did was walk through the gate and it rushed at me, knocked me down, and bit my arm. The problem is the media and gullible people. The media targets certain breeds (they do it with certain races and groups of people too) and then some people completely believe it instead of questioning the story's accuracy.
@@blueflare3848 Well there have been studies and pitbulls have been in alot of attacks, but they arent the only ones to watch out for. They were bred for dog fighting too. But if treated well they shouldnt be a problem. Was the dog that bit you put down?
- Simplicity Honestly, I'm not sure. It was a long time ago. If I remember correctly, I think it bit its owner a little afterwards and then they might have put it down.
