If your tires are only 2” larger, you would be gaining 1” above COA(center of axle) and blow COA. You will realistically be gaining 1” more of clearance. The reason it looks so much taller is because the suspension is sprung from be lifted with a jack. Once you drive around, the ground clearance will settle back to resting and give you your actual height. Thanks for the info on the spacers thought!
Did it fit in the trailer? If not, what did you do to make it work. I believe your trailer looks like a 70 inch height opening and with it being 69.5 inches high with out the roof and new tires.
What is the actual new width of the front with the wheel spacers? I doesn't look 4" wider as the rims had more of an offset...just curious to maybe only using 1" spacers on the front to keep the 5-" gate rule?
Hi I have a 2020 can am maverick trail 1000 and I put new tires and rims that were also 2" taller. now my tires rub on the bottom inside the fender only on the drivers side and only when I turn sharp. what can I do to stop the rubbing?
I appreciated your video. I'm not a graveled trail rider but more forested off trail as it sounds like you guys are too. I recently sold a pioneer as it was too tall and too much utility for my likes. If you do use your machine for some amount of off trail are you satisfied with its abilities and does the added clearance provide the capability you wanted? I'm asking because I'm interested in the Mav trail for off trail and hunting use.
Bro great video definitely want to get a side-by-side. I was not too happy with the width. looking something where I can still ride with ATVs and not be limited... Also great if i had to outrun a cop ... Lol...
You can run 28-10-14s all the way around without spacers if you buy wheels with the correct offset. This guy needed spacers because he has the wrong wheels. He's also wrong about how much clearance he gained. A tire that is 2 inches taller will give you an extra 1 inch of ground clearance. 30s will rub in the front when you turn the wheels all the way.
2 inch taller tire equals 1 inch more ground clearance
Thanks for watching

Yeah we ended up gaining about an inch, it was still fun to do though..lol
Taller tire also means lower bottom end power but higher top speed. Longer legs.
Thanks for watching.

Yes, It fit without any issues.
Cool. Love the new look.
Thanks for watching.

I'll have to measure it

If width isn't an issue where you ride, maybe some wheel spacers.

It added a little more clearance. Rob's pretty happy with it.
i have a trail 800 dps, stock tires front 26x8-12, rear 26x9-12, what widths did you go to? looks like bigger rims also with your new tires
I am not sure, we fit through some pretty tight gates with no problem.
Did you have to put a lift on it like 2 inch lift and does it rub on the steering when you turn the wheel all the way left or right
No lift, we added wheel spacers. This is shown in the video.
So what did your overall width change to?
We measured it and it's about 54" So it added 4" of with and about 1 1/2" of clearance.
So what did you do with your OEM take offs, tires and wheels, iam looking for a used front tire and rim.
Rob, kept them as spares.

The Maverick trail is 50" and the Maverick Sport is 60" It's a nice machine.
How are these working?
Thinking about doing the very same tires
It's a great set-up Rob is glad that he did it.
What bolt pattern did you get for the wheel spacers?
Not sure, ordered them to fit the Maverick
Nice feller
Thanks for watching
28-10-14 with off set mag would it be do able or preferable to use just spacer? Can we upgrade to a 30-10-14 on maverick trail 2019?

Sorry just saw this comment.
how does it ride with the sway bar removed?
It's not bad on the trails, actually better on the trails because of the added articulation.
When are you guys going to do wentworth trails.. I got to go one more time this year...
Sorry just saw this.
What brand of tire?
Sorry just noticed this comment.
Nice machine, but that registration sticker needs to be on the front and not the side of the machine

Where I live, his registration in placed perfectly. It is to be placed on both sides to the front of the machine easily visible.
So now you won’t fit through a 50” trail gate.
Where we ride the gates are wider.
But now your not 50” so you can’t go on those 50” or less trails anymore
Haven't had any issues. It has been fine.
