Love that you spend time with your kids! keep at it, mine have started being teenagers and i miss them wanting to hang out with us all the time. You will too, it happens overnight, so make the most of it. I have also noticed that since last i commented 6 months ago you have almost quadrupled your subscribers! This has been one of my favourite videos you have created so far. Not only does it show the family dynamic side of indie dev I have never seen from others, but it shows the constant struggle with bugs I think many people fear. Well done.

This has to be my favorite video from this channel so far also its hard to believe how good samurado looks now the art and effects are incredible and look to work well with the game play
I have an opinion of your game , when using melee attack to hit the enemy, the "whole screen flashing to white " is too strong, it is bad for player`s eye. if you insist to keep it , at least put it in option to disable or enable it . there are many game being complain about the effect is too strong , mostly is related to the white flashing screen . dont want your game being complain too.
True, it could trigger a migrane attack in no time.
Yes! Make it so that the player sprite flashes red, not the screen. It’s good to have ”game feel”, but sometimes it’s too much.

Amazing how you keep your house so clean. I have two kids and the house looks like the room in Samurado when lasers touched the enemies.
I like this format better than the ones where you sit at your desk and contradict my experiences as a gamedev. And we actually got to see some gameplay!

Really good video. Great pacing and structure and engaging content. You make what you do look easy, yet us indie devs know how hard that is-not just to develop and create Social media content, but also to balance work-life so you can maximize productivity without impacting family quality and quantity time too much.
You both are a great team. I love how you combine work life and family life to make sure you don't burnout. I pray for your success and keep making these great videos and games!!!

Also Outer Wilds is such an amazing game, it honestly was one of the most impactful gaming experiences I ever had, it not only influenced how I think about games but also gave me endless inspiration for my music (Andrew Prahlows work is incredible).

Cool video! Definitely shows how much more I need to work on getting better organized. I feel like right now, I have certain areas where I want to think more about the overall design for a system or feature and get stuck just thinking about that instead of knocking out some smaller stuff I can do.

I work at home with my wife also. It really is a blessing.
I love to see that you have such balanced life, its the kind of balance that I relly want to achieve but its hardd... i get back from school around 3-4pm, have to do homework till 5pm and i have like max 2 hpours to work on my game if i want to do something else too, if i just focus on my game and dont do anything else then i acan get maybe 3-4 hours of gamedev but its hard to find that baklance when i can do gamedev but also continue and grow other hobbies

Finally got to see your channel after only been listening to the podcast. I can't believe the squatchs have faces. Before I totally backseat dev wanted to say very wonderful and just wishlisted the game. I think you should totes add a non distracting gradient burst in the very background whenever the player takes damage (yellow if hit by lightning and orange if hit by fire all that cool stuff.) think would be a ?simple? addon but very nice non distracting detail that would add a lot. I have other ideas but i will backseat another day keep it up you two looks very good!!
