Absolutely phenomenal episode mate! Camera work and editing at it’s best! Can’t wait for the upcoming episodes! Thanks for taking us all on one epic family adventure!
Thank you for your comment. Glad you enjoyed. In Africa, it is always an adventurers experience, and this one with my family was just special. Go watch some of our other videos, you might enjoy them. The Botswana ones in particular. Will do, that's the aim. Keep well and stay tuned in 🤟
Lekker! You must if you have not go to Jabula Lodge for dinner whilst in Marloth Park! Dawn, Leon and staff are the best. Yes sadly Leon is sick so get there quick and send our love to them from the bloody Aussies
Just found your channel on RUclips and am watching your great adventures. Very nice and professional camera views. Wish I could take my family there to see all those beautiful animals there at Kruger National Park. Take care guys and see ya at the next 4x4 Adventure!
WOW!!! Such a great video guys - really enjoyed watching this one. Some insane game viewing and some ridiculously great shots of the animals. What a special place to be in. Look forward to more videos like this in the future.
Was just looking for Ranger 2.2 on youtube but then your adventures seem interesting, lots of greats sights at the parks over there.Good times with your family 👊🏽
Found your channel through Ed; Incredible couple of episodes!! Absolutely love the map work. Really helpful for me to picture it all and work out where you are and what’s going on. Wow! Lucky to have found both channels. Thanks
Thank you Rich, from Ed and myself, and glad you enjoy our episodes. Keep enjoying and stay tuned as we try and get through all of our trips and share them with you. Share our episodes is the only thing we ask. Keep well mate 🤟
4x4ventures Will definitely share and can’t wait for more content. I’m travelling over from England for 15nts inside Kruger at start of September, travelling from top to bottom. Praying it goes ahead 🙏🏻 👍🏻
Lekker man, and thank you for finding our channels and being a legend. We'll see you out there, and yes, fingers crossed that COVID 19 doesn't affect all of our adventures. Cabin fever is real mate, and Ed and I are planning the next couple of trips. Keep well and stay safe, let us know when you here 🤟
your videos are incredible and inspiring i just recently bought my own 2016 ford ranger 2.2 4x4 tdci xl and your videos have inspired me to do all the 4x4 ventures and creat my own 4x4 world in south africa thanks so much . hopefully one day we can link up and do an offroad adventure after lockdown ends
Thank you Keanen. Glad I could help and inspire your new venture. Always lekker to hear and inspiring people to adventure has always been my aim. Looking forward to seeing you out there, and let me know when you want to link up. Keep safe and stay tuned. New episode dropping this week 🤟
awesome episode. just a point of clarity. it is not Jackalberry lodge but jackalberry ridge where you stayed. huge difference in price. Jackalberry lodge is a thornybush lodge and is almost 10x more.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 boertjie, I appreciate the comment mate. Hope you guys are well and glad you enjoyed it. Lekkerrr comment and jeep em coming. Stay tuned pal and enjoy the English lessons 🤟
Thank you for great footage. I see you quite a fan of the Conqueror, it would be great to get your review of the UEV25. It looks great for comfort, but does it stack up on practicality? Payload of 330KGs when it has a 290 litre water tank seems rather impractical. Also, with your vehicle, how would it stack up on soft sand driving. Its pricey, so it would be great to see whether its really value for money.
You also have to tow legally too. If you don't have a code EB, EC1 or EC license. You're limited to a trailer of 750 kg or you will get hefty fines and your vehicle might even be impounded. That's why you don't see younger guys having caravans etc.
Thank you for the question. On the freeway im averaging 15.5ltrs / 100km. Thiiiirsty, but to be expected with the larger tyres and the 2.2 Ranger working much harder with 1.2 tones being towed. That's at 110km/hr. At 125km/hr fuel consumption jumps up to 17.1 ltrs/100kms and I then get very grumpy
@@4x4ventures_southafrica Thanks. I have a 3.2 Ranger and thinking of hiring a trailer and doing a trip so was just wondering what the consumption would be like. any way, enjoying your content, keep it coming !!
