Very well written book, thought provoking regarding not only climate change but class and cultural/religious influences and the difference in how one responds to short term and long term consequences of decisions.

I absolutely love this writer. Her first book I read was High Tide in Tucson. And I was hooked from thereon. She writes gracefully, with wisdom yet is incisive and funny too.

I can't stop thinking about the
characters in this book. I want to know about the next day and the next day after that in their lives. I've rarely carried this kind of sustained interest in the lives of fictional characters. But I really really want to know what happens next for every one of the characters in this story. I would say it ended too soon except I'm not certain any time would make a difference. I want to know about these folks on the long term.
