My niece is and then was like that. Her boyfriend changed her too. These selfish girls get the sweetest guys. But I respect those girls who really recognize their ways and change. And then they turn out to be genuinely sweet as well. God is good.
I only cook a few times a year - basically holidays only. After 14 years My husband has just accepted that reality. He handles the kitchen and I get everything else in the house including scheduling a maid when i feel lazy. The goal is to take care of each other.
The growth between these two is just phenomenal! Same thing happened with me. My mama treated me like a princess. She did all the chores, cooked, cleaned my room, made my bed, did my laundry. She did that until I moved out at 22. I only moved out because I got married and that's when I found out I was spoiled. I was a good kid, very respectful and sweet. My mom always said I was her cream puff. And I loved that she treated me like that but still it affected me and I have to make a conscious effort and pre plan and prepare mentally to get up and deep clean the whole place and do laundry. My husband wants me to get into cooking. He's the better cook between us. But I'm going to try.

Same thing happened with me. My mama treated me like a princess. She did all the chores, cooked, cleaned my room, made my bed, did my laundry. She did that until I moved out at 22. I only moved out because I got married and that's when I found out I was spoiled.
I was a good kid, very respectful and sweet. My mom always said I was her cream puff. And I loved that she treated me like that but still it affected me and I have to make a conscious effort and pre plan and prepare mentally to get up and deep clean the whole place and do laundry. My husband wants me to get into cooking. He's the better cook between us. But I'm going to try.

I feel the whole don’t cook don’t clean thing comes into play when men see your entire worth is based on cooking and cleaning. Like where I’m from men would date a lady for cleaning and cooking services and that’s not cool like if that’s it you should get you a maid. Also they don’t like helping.
