🏆🏆🏆The Combination Mel and Syd HATCH GUESS/OWLET NAMING CONTEST for Clutch #9 will begin this Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 at 9pm PDT and will end Monday, April 10th, 2023 at 9pm PDT. Everyone gets one guess for the HATCH contest and one submission for the OWLET NAMING contest. Please guess the date and time (specify am/pm) PDT for the first owlet to FULLY hatch from its shell. The person who guesses closest to the hatch time, without going past, will win. You can use either your real name or your chatter name. Guesses will be accepted via a Google Form. Sydney laid egg #1 of Clutch #9 on 3/19/23 at 9:47am PDT. According to Cornell, Barn Owl eggs hatch between 29 and 34 days after being laid, (April 17th through April 22, 2023 for egg #1). For the names, some owlets will be named by the moderators and some by viewers/chatters. A narrowed-down list of names will be sent back out, to be voted on by survey. Please remember to keep the names appropriate, and preferably somewhat short, since they will be typed repeatedly in chat and tend to get shorter nicknames as a result.
