- Yet another RUclips video about a Tesla delivery. I explain our thought process for getting a Model Y and explain how our situation is a bit different than most other RUclipsrs.

Congrats! Just sold my 2015 GTI also to get my wife into a YLR. I got her "hand-me-down" 3LR which I also get to charge @ work for free. So looking to my own adventure going forward.
Sad to see the R go :( I got so many great modification ideas from watching your channel and even chose the Eurodyne tune because of your review. But if it makes sense, it makes sense. Just means you'll bring us future Tesla modification videos, right? ;)

I am looking at buying one, currently own a mk7 gti performance, we have two children and need a bigger car, please do a boot space comparison to your golf even tho the r has a slightly smaller boot then mine, we be good for my wife to see the space difference as here in Australia the Y hasn’t landed yet!!
Also how much faster does Y p feel over R? Different level I bet?
Bro, I can remember your pick-up video of the Golf R like it was yesterday (okay, I may have watched it multiple times). Congrats on the Model Y, it's quite a mind shift. But whatever you do, pls don't sell the R, it's a future classic! Get rid off the Honda or Smart, or both.. I am really curious how you will charge the Y. My wife drives an I3, and we always charge it at home, of course in the current situation no chance to work from the office where she could charge...
for better or for worse we are both in the healthcare field so we will always be going to work.. I don't think we could keep a Model Y if there wasn't a consistent place to charge it but its certainly interesting not being able to charge at home. I want to keep the R but it just doesn't have a use case for us anymore.. gonna be disappointing a lot of you guys who follow the channel because of the R :(

Congrats on the newborn firstly as every thing else doesn’t matter. Family, health, the future is what really counts. All Cars will end up being rusted turds in the New England area & sadly the R will rust out too. What will be interesting is how those 21” will hold up in those hell pot holes & the battery stressed by winter. Maybe you’ll have wheels to swap during salt season lol
Golf R is a great car & highly versatile just like the Y except for the electric part.
Y’all should do a drag race match & see how they do before getting rid of the ice cars lol (obv make a trip to Mexico😂)
Ps: have y’all got the vaccine? Based on my medical profession, I truly don’t believe we young folks need it.

I was going to get a Tesla, but changed my mind after reading this and what Tesla's true range is: 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E v 2020 Tesla Model Y: Which is best? (afr.com)
Don't think there's a wrong choice here. But my wife would not be happy with the Ford so the Tesla was the right choice for us :)
@@zed4me Hopefully she at least test drove the Mustang. Where I live, within a 20km radius of my house, there are 372 Tesla's for sale on the Auto Trader. The Mach E is coming to China, and the Chinese people are eating it up like Chicken Balls and fried noodles. Looks like the Tesla car is old hat now.
Get rid of the Honda or Smartcar. Keep the Golf R.
The smart car is actually my most valuable car living in Queens right now haha the pilot may actually go, but to make room for a pickup truck :)
