30-year-old in West Virginia here. I pay $432/month for a brand new 2024 Model Y Long Range, and my insurance through State Farm is $130/month. I got the $7,500 tax credit, as well as $12,000 down payment from selling my 2014 Focus ST, bringing my total financed amount to $28,384 with an APR of 7.17% through Santander, which was the best rate for my DTI and was actually a third-party from applying through Tesla.
That’s solid. Thanks for the info
For how long is your financing?
@@MikeMane-ex1vf 84 months. Opted for the lowest monthly payment right now but will probably end up refinancing.
Just so you know ( next time) Santander is notorious for charging higher interest rates, even with good credit. 2 smart financing options 1. Credit Union2. Start a small business, get an EIN and a TID, build your business credit, and purchase your next ride totally on business credit.
@@melangreathouse2209 Oh I’m aware! lol Because my DTI was so high, I didn’t qualify for my local credit unions or banks, so Santander was the best option. I just put the woman’s new Tiguan in my name, so the timing wasn’t great.
I ordered a white Model Y Long Range dual motor in early January 2023 and took delivery on Feb. 14th, 2023. The price with destination and order fee was $54,630. I got a state rebate of $2,000 and a trade-in price of $9,500. Currently in my state there in no sales tax on EVs. With the high loan rates, I sold stock to pay $43,130 cash for the car. When I filed my 2023 taxes this month, I received a $3,543 Federal credit as my tax burden wasn't the full $7,500. That brings the total cost of the car to $39,587. I now have just under 7,600 miles on the car and have spent $339 charging at home and $25 at Superchargers. I have had no other maintenance costs.
What you trade in
339$ at home is expensive 😊
@@CDCOZY i think he mentioned over the course of a last year and a half. That’s only about $20 bucks a month, which is fantastic compared to gas.
My 97 civic is still running strong 😂 I payed off my house mortgage. Saved 100000
why r u here?......
Nobody cares. Y’all are the boring bunch all the time.
you also can't enjoy the finer and newer things in life. this is you being alive and not living.
I’ll wait. I like paying cash for my cars and not having to stress about a monthly payment. Invest the savings.
@@Ef-ny9yvKeep the interest in your pocket. Buying used is another savings 🎈
I got the Model S plaid+ in may last year, I put down 17k for the car because I secured a 60month loan at 2.95% instead of putting more money down or outright payment, I had it sitting
in my wealthfront HYSA getting me 5.0% back; invested in my portfolio which gives me passive income that pays off the car and keeps in my lifestyle
That's awesome, congratulations 🎉 you seem to know much about finance
Solid maths and brilliant idea right there, how did you get such great idea and how's it working for you thus far?
It's working out pretty well, it's definitely one of the best decisions I've made in my entire life.
I follow the guide of a mentor that gives me advice on finances
I'm trying to start investing, I will need a guide. can you lead me to your mentor ?

$660 per month here. Bought my 22 used M3LR for $37,500 20% down) 6 mo than ago. pay $560 for payment $40 to charge ($0.12 per kw with fees) $60 per month for insurance. I drive about 1200 miles per month.
I actually enjoy this realistic finance content (same with your hidden expenses video). It is almost always better to finance a car, assuming you can get a good interest rate, because your cash will be better put elsewhere (high interest savings, stocks, other investments, etc.). Most people see "financing" and assume you're living outside your means, but this is just the perception of it.
In the weekend’s where I live, electricity is mostly free, so in one month I pay only around 5 euros. And I drive around 1000 km . Car is model Y Peformance
just get a used Bolt with recalled new battery at $15000, no tax on used EV cars under $30000, about $500 insurance per year. Super efficient on the road, Bolt is the only car with on-par efficiency as Tesla cars, practical 250 miles range, it also has 200 horsepower 0-60 in 6.5 sec......these things sells super fast if anyone can get hands on one. Make sure check the VIN for Bolt recall history on battery.
1k/month is 5% of your monthly income? damn bro. you make a lot of money. so that means 20k month (lets say pretax). so your salary from work is 240k a year. danggggg good assss salary. and that electricity rate is a dream!
At 5% of his income, he can't complain nor even try to act like its difficult. How many of us have that cushy income. I guess i should look into you tubing.
But he still took out a loan for the car 😂
@@TheBohemianAngels no way he is making that just on YT with 32k subs, probably works in tech or something
@@Tom-fn8xcword of course he has a real job on top of this
@@pewpeww556 If he had 3.4% apr for 72 months, it would be advantageous to get a loan, these days most cash deposits is over 5%.
Wooow , that insurance is expensive. I live in Austria and we pay insurance per month $60. In Austria you have three options for Insurance, Basic ($22 for Tesla 2024 SR), +Basic (60$), Premium ($110).
I charge my Tesla also at home for fix price .20c (day or night doesn’t matter) and we have Photovoltaic on our House. That’s big advantage in summer. We paid our car cash, no loan.
Thanks for reporting all the information about buying the Tesla.
Just bought a new Model Y (long range AWD) in early May of 2024 all cash out the door (in CA) for $48.6k. Insurance with Mercury is around $2500 a year however by adding to my policy it dropped my premium on my other vehicle by $460 so it's really a difference of about $2080 a year.
Totally agree with your beater point, dude. As long as you are still able to live comfortably, taking out a higher than usual car loan is totally fine in my opinion, especially if you have a good rate. Only one life to live, man. Thanks for the video dude, going to likely be getting the 2024 Model 3 Performance when it comes out. Will be my first Tesla!
Great video. I have found that what a lot of people are looking for is a comparison in rough mpg. Charging at home i have about the same rate as you $.02 per mile or about $.6 per gallon for a car that gets 30 mpg. At a super charger (only when I'm traveling) I'm paying about 80% the price of gas. this can vary quite a bit. the one thing that you didn't mention that i was surprised to hear was that tires of EVs wear out faster. This can vary a lot also but for my 2023 Y performance 21" tires we are looking at $2200 to replace them. it sounds typical to have to replace them at 30k. That means that I'm paying $.07 per mile for tires. this is probably double what a normal car would be.
Normal car is probably looking at $1.1 per 30 miles for tires plus a gallon of gas and other maintenance but just focusing on tires and gas you are looking at $4 for a gallon plus 1.1 for tires $5.1 per 30 miles.
for the tesla Charging at home (typical commute) $.6 for 30 miles of charge & 2.19 for tires gives me a cost of $2.79 for 30 miles in the tesla. (another thing to note for this is if you are in stop and go traffic it uses very little power)
for traveling in the tesla $2.19 plus 80% of gas $4 per gallon equals $5.4 per 30 miles traveling now this can vary so i consider it about the same.
lastly all the above does not consider oil changes and the like that i don't need in the tesla. I love my Tesla. It has been a solid investment IMO.
Love the video. Here's hoping the new 2024 Model 3 LR will start rolling out more widely soon. The white interior is delaying the delivery it looks like, however it is worth the wait.
Yeah I've yet to see a white interior get delivered
I bought my Model Y LR in May 2022. I gave about 44,000 down and only financed 20,000. My note is about $300 per month.
It was 64,000????
@@LZ_Mobile_Tintcrazy how this car is $28k now lmao
Just picked up a 2022 M3 LR AWD for close to $24k (higher mileage 70k). Stayed under the $25k mark to qualify for the $4k used ev tax credit. $0 down $430 something per month. Plan is to tack on the $4k at the end of the year and refinance the remaining months at a lower rate. Looking to knock it down into the $320-$330 range. Love the car and its been one I've been looking to get over the past 4 years.
Awesome stuff, where you get the used Tesla. Looking to do something like yours
Great video! Very helpful! Thank you!
❤ Love video, I really want a Tesla but currently no covered parking, and Hail season in Texas is no joke with those glass roofs!
I charge outside rain snow sleet or shine.
I bought my white-on-white Tesla Model 3 RWD in March 2023 with a 72-month 5.59% loan and $20K down. I got the $7500 tax refund last week, took some money out of savings, and paid it off. Buying a new Tesla was a big indulgence but I love it. I kept my last car 18 years and I hope the Tesla last as long.
Is the $7,500 tax credit actually a refund? I thought that it just kicked in if you owe money on your taxes?
Are saying this was your 1st vehicle purchase in 18 years?
@@TanieshaHorton-xn2rtit’s an actual refund you get the full 7500 if you don’t owe them, I only got 4500 back
It will not as long coz of battery issues. 7500 is a tac credit not refund
Save 15-20k for a new battery sir
I have a 2021 Model 3 Long Range with 93,330 miles. I've replaced the ties twice. Thats it.
I will take delivery of my first Tesla in three days. I just bought the model Y rear wheel drive because I paid cash for it and I didn’t want to spend extra money for the other models, but I didn’t want the smaller one. Since I lived down here and South Florida it looks like one of the first things I’m going to have to do is go over to my window tint guy. There’s just a lot of glass there. I paid 42,000 out the door after the dealer took off the $7500 EV credit that I signed over to them. For that amount of money I think it’s a lot of car . you have a great thanks for the information.
Congrats. I took delivery of my reengineered M3 LR stealth grey black interior on Monday my first EV. I love the car it's beautiful. I love the acceleration, tech , minimalism, stalkless design. It's quiet, comfortable and refined.
I put PPF on the front bumper and hood, side rocker panels and headlights and mirrors. I am getting rims on Monday keeping the 18 in. Tires for comfort. Wednesday adding limo tint all around the car, glass roof and 70 percent on windshield with limo strip on top and I'm replacing the Tesla emblem and words in back with matte black chrome delete 😅😅
You are going to the Model Y. We have had ours since end of December and it is so fun to drive and own. Really like not having to stop at a gas station.
I purchased my Model 3 Performance four years ago. I lowered it with Mountain Pass Performance coil overs and added the Tesla 20” zero g wheels. I blacked it out and tinted all the windows. My wife just picked up a Model Y Performance 3 months ago. I tinted the windows and added ppf to the front end, mirrors and rocker panels. I am debating whether or not I should trade in my Model 3 for the upcoming Performance model.
My personal experience recently getting a 2024 Model 3: Montly fuel cost (lvl 2 charger .5 mile from home) $20, monthly payment (lease) $369, monthly insurance (default Tesla insurance) $83. $472 total monthly cost. For perspective, I came from a 2001 Honda CRV that had a monthly cost of $250 per month (State Farm insurance, oil changes divided across 12 months, and gas from Costco).
How much did u put down ?
Sounds like both will end up being a great bargain.
Dang I just purchased a 21 model 3 standard with 7k miles for $31k, $35k out the door, from Tesla. I could have saved about $4-5k from a private party, but the wifie wanted the extra surety from Tesla, plus they warranty 1 year more. HUGE savings from our Lexus SUV gas bill. But insurance is a little more.
Thank you for the videos just recently subscribed and enjoy learning new things about Tesla
Hi Jeremiah, I've recently been considering going back to all electric and trying a Tesla. Probably a Y long range because I want to sit up higher to be easier on my lower back.... I recently found your videos and appreciate your straight forward style of presenting info. ... question: how can I find out if my garage breaker can handle the extra charging electricity? and find out if I need to have an electrician install a dedicated outlet? ... I used to have an bmw I3 and it would trip the breaker sometimes. definitely annoying. .. cheers
How much for a total cost for a 2023 or 2024 MODEL X DUAL MOTOR?
How much we have to put down?
How much for a monthly payment?
i paid cash for my 2021 model 3 with 12k miles on it license was about 45 charging is free with Tesla electric at 10pm to 6am insuarance is about 900 for 6 months with Geico
The last 3 min is exactly what I needed to hear. I’m taking out a loan and buying
So you make about $18k a month? Amazing work Dude! Been following you for a little bit now as I’m considering a model S when the new ones rollout with the updates…. I’m around a similar amount (pre-tax income) but can’t bring myself to pay $1500 a month all in for the car…
which jack stands do you recommend to fit the puck? Or do regular jack stands mate with the puck no problem
Genuine question, wanna hear your thoughts on my situation. Just bought my M3P, was one of the heavily discounted inventory models leading into 2024. Paid 46k, and have the $7500 tax credit coming next year for it. I read that there is not a minimum amount of time I need to own the car for me to still get the credit. I'm hearing high rumors the M3Ludicrous (or whatever it'll be called) will qualify for the tax credit (since it'll have an American battery). For me, theoretically, that puts me in striking range of $15,000 from tax credits in a short amount of time. Since I got a discounted deal on my new car, what do you think, am I in striking distance of a somewhat straight-across deal into a M3L (To where as long as rates aren't bad that I wouldn't get hurt swapping so soon)? Have had a hard time mathing this one out. Any info is super appreciated!!
Just bought a MYLR. financed for just about over $800 a month for 60 months with the intention of paying it off early. Including insurance is about 950 a month. Now, it’s so new I haven’t got charge or maintenance cost yet, but I’m hopeful for it to not be too much, especially with first 5000 Supercharger miles for free. Excited to drive it more
$900 a month? Is your income over 5k a month?
There might not be any. Have had my 2023 model 3 for 15 months and haven't even added washer fluid yet.😊
Why did you have your additional car payments count as essentially pre payments (which pushed back your next due date) rather than applying your payment to the principal of the loan?
With a healthy downpayment, tax credit, and inventory credit, I traded in my 2020 Model 3 for a long range 2024 Model Y and despite a higher interest rate, lowered my payment by about $30/month so that worked out nicely.
My loan is around 42 thousand after federal incentives with 4 thousand down. My payment is a little over 700 a month. I plan on making thousand dollar payments. Hopefully!
Try Erie if they write policies in your state they are the best in my opinion. Insurance is for making you whole in an emergency if the company does not pay you in a timely fashion whats the point. We have everything with Erie and bundle. I also hear USAA is good as well.
I’m from Erie and have lived in WV and DC now and they are good after all thee years
Can you make a video on how to remove the air intake cover? The cover for the 2024 seems to be harder to remove. Thanks.
nice!
Model Y Performance $87 a month insurance from USAA.
I’m getting my on Thursday I hope everything go well
I spend $870 a month for the note & insurance. $16 a month to charge at home & my state is one of the rare states that charge property tax & thats $750 every 6 months
I have always lease cars. My lease from a BMW 330i 2021 ended. I was paying 600 with 3k down. Insurance was 180 and gas 250.
I got Tesla 3LR red color. 3k down. Paying 500 month insurance with progressive 166 and electricity is like 30bucks monthly. So happy with this car. I’m never going back to combustion cars. Hopefully, in a close future Tesla decides to change the term at the end of the lease to buy the car. It can be worth it.
I leased a 2024 M3 rwd. The payment is $330, insurance $150/month. For me, leasing an EV is a smart for a couple reasons. First the technology is changing so fast and I’m certain I’m going to want the latest in 3 years. Also EV’s depreciate a lot!
Wow nice informative video 👍
Wow that’s a lot to spend on transportation. I like my Hondas and Toyotas
Love your video and message we only live once 👏
Love my 2022 model 3!!
So question.. what do you do to make around $20k a month?!
if anyone here gets discouraged, please check out the used lineup at dealerships. Alot of em half the cost and typically around 30k miles. I got my first model 3 used and runs like my new one. Only difference is $30k. Check out the used inventory model 3 and model y lineup at dealerships near you. There's also videos to aid you check them out quickly so u dont get a lemon.
I considered it, but I hate buying off Stealership lots. They lie and cheat so much I just can't. My friend just bought a used 22 Ridgeline, and I went with him...omg. The add on crap is insane. The taxes were wrong...yes... they tried to charge the wrong taxes. Then they correct it to the wrong taxes again...no I'm not lying people. They refused to itemize the tax line. He simply said here's xyz cash..take it or leave it. They took it. They even tried to charge more because he was paying cash...really??!!! They wanted finance kickbacks via their lenders is why. Antitrust violation anyone. Thank you for suggestion though.

@jasonroberts6133 tesla has a used credit rn up to 4,000 but the car has to be 25,000 or under and telsa only offer 1 car rn on there site...
If you know cars, Hertz the is cheapest, ... you can get a 2022 for 20k and they now have the $4K used credit.
I just purchased a Tesla Model Y Performance today, White on White. Monthly payment is $622 a month on a 2 year lease. Reasoning to lease is to test out the Tesla “ecosystem”. I’m 33 and my insurance is $147 a month. If I like it, I will purchase the new Juniper Model Y to own upon completion of my lease🤞
I was thinking about going this route as well two lease for 2yrs then get Jupiter ❤
Leases are not smart. just saying. While yes you spend less money over a certain period of time. At the end of the leases you have NOTHING for it. At the end of paying a car off, (or hey what about paying cash), you have a car worth a significant amount of money!
@@hoyvintagecycles2936nonsense. If you buy new the depreciation hit over the 24-36 month period are money lost. Lease generally costs that much plus you get to save on purchase tax as it is based on the total lease cost and not total car cost. Plus with tax credit payment reduction lease is very good option. Only downside is the mile limitation. Yes you can buy cash or finance, but your car will be worth very little at the end considering the interest rate burden and hard depreciation of electric cars caused by rapidly changing battery tech etc.
@@hoyvintagecycles2936 Leasing a Tesla is smart. If I purchased the car, it would have cost $53k. If I came back to sell the car 2 years later for the new model, I would get probably less than $25K for it. That’s nearly a $30k loss. ..Leasing is easily the better option in this case.

Ouch, 72 months note.
Yo this the first time I actually saw a useful ad 😆
Your cost per KWH is very low compared to mine - .35. I'm wondering what the national average is for off-peak cost?
Yesterday i went to Tesla and saw Model Y Performence 684 ths kronor fully loaded and 4 wheel drive but when i had few mins drive test i didnt liked it , due to the round shape like a frog and couldnt see infront of even i had seat in good position and full charged 51 swedish miles which is not so great due to in Sweden winter time is almost 7 months all from zero to minus 22 degrees and obviously car batteri must be on charge over night every nights and its not worth if one have free electric.........
So better choice should be hibride Elec/Patrol instead 100%electric
That’s a good price November 2020 when I got one it was 97 cash
Just bought model y performance today. Vehicle cost 60k including 4.7k sales tax and 1.4k destination fee. Got financing for 7.33% for 72mos for 903$ a month. Definitely gross car note and I had second thoughts. When I talk to my fiance she said that we could afford and our safety comes first instead of buying a 3 year old used gas engine car. I don’t like having monthly liabilities so I’ll probably pay it off within 3 years.
Seen a 2018 model 3 long range with 54k going for $20,500. Do you guys think it’s worth it?
This is the new jumper cables program and if cars could date , the telsa with the trash truck 🚛 of it's mate, and we already had jumper cables that were more productive.
i would wait until giga mexico opens up for prices to go down even more
My monthly payment for my 23 MYP is $900 which I know is a lot... I put down 15k for the car because I had secured a 60 month loan at 2.95%. Instead of putting more down, the money was either invested or sitting in my Wealthfront getting 5 to 5.50% back.
If this was a recent loan, how did you get it for 2.95%
@@janicevo5756I got the car in February 2023. Financed thru Tower Federal Credit Union at 60 months, right before they spiked their interest rate.
M3R highland(2k option included). I put 1k down and leased for 36 months at $550 per month. I prefer leasing because I like having a new car every three years.
I had a lease order but when the 1.99% promo came out it was too good of a deal. I canceled and I financed. I was able to get a long range rwd for almost the same price of a standard range. My state gives an additional $3k so that made it a better deal.
Wow your insurance is high, but must be your age. I'm in my mid 30s and for a Model 3 long range awd the quote from Progressive was $120 for 6 months. Auto is bundled with home and 20 years of good driving record.
You are taxed on that HYSA interest by the way. So not exactly a better rate than paying more towards the loan.
What you guysbthinknabout lease???
Literally just approved for Finance of MYLR. Hope to pickup tomorrow afternoon. Definitely refinancing in a year or two, just needed to go with purchase now as my trade in vehicle will soon bite the dust and they're giving me a pretty penny for it. Plus, I can afford to make the payments now as it is only about 13% of my net monthly income.
Dude you do realize that 13% of your take home going toward a car is quite high right?
@@jml9550 Still relatively young, no bills or mortgage (lucky enough to live at home on a separate floor so chip in about 700/month in home expenses) Someone will always say it's not worth it... well if I can afford it and still be financially sound... that's good enough for me.
Miss those rates. Nowadays the best rates that anyone can get on cars in my state is 6.99%.
On another note, people who do not have high yield savings accounts set up are missing out.
What’s your high yield savings account? Thanks
11:30. Yes I agree. I’m a cancer survivor and if I took the advice of only paying cash and getting beaters and my health started declining, I would have SO MUCH REGRET not enjoying a good car and would punch all those advisors in the face with whatever energy I had left. I willing to work a little harder so I can enjoy my model y (hopefully) the end of this year. Live a fulfilled life, not a financially easy life. You never know what condition you will be in five years.
Did he say 5% of his gross monthly income??? So this kid makes about $17K a month???????? Now before any 12 year old chimes in saying, “Well dude if you’re not making a million dollars a day then you’re a loser” Okay, stop!! Something doesn’t add up.
He's a well off youtuber, plus he probably does other things on the side, and a job on top of that. It's really not that hard to bring in 10 to 20k a month...
@@BeyondBliss1111just stop.
That's what I was thinking. How is this youngster making $17,000-20,000 a month? That's outstanding but it's certainly not coming from having 68,000 Subscribers and a couple sponsors, from what I have read on RUclips pay scales.
@misterb1132 Let's say he's getting 5 cents per view on this video. 5 cent time 226,000 He's making 11k a month on this video alone. Now add brand deals, other income from other social media sites, he has an online store. And add a regular 9 to 5 on top of that and my boy can clear 17k easily. Now instead of hating on my guy, yall should ask him how does he do that....
My monthly Tesla payment is 3% of monthly income. Including insurance, it’s 4%.
Just picked up my Model Y Long Range 3 days ago. I paid full price of $52k with the $7,500 federal tax credit.
What about to lease
How do you have a rainbow road behind your yoke steering wheel? Is that a mod?
It's a setting inside the Toybox app that comes with the car.
I got a 1.79% on mine during the same timeframe 🎉. What really sucks is that the price dropped and the 2024 models come with way more for a lot less. now I'm stuck in this "over-priced" car which still SUCKS!!!
Which credit union did you use?
I’m trying to figure out how some of yall are only paying less than $100/month for insurance?! I have a 2023 MYP with a monthly payment of $765 (lease) and my insurance just went up to $350/month with Geico. As a note I live in Los Angeles however I think $350 a month for insurance is a crime. It was about $290 when I first took delivery of my car last June 😩 Mind you I put $7000+ down. I feel like I’ve been bamboozled somehow! Although I love the car, I definitely regret this purchase. Oh, and my registration renewal was $800. 🤦🏾♀️
Thanks
I paid $46k cash for my 24’ MYP great deal
How long was delivery? Just put in my order last weej

Like to know rough estimate on insurance per month pls
I’m trying to figure out if I did my math wrong or if I need to change career fields so I can make $18,000 per month like you. Nice!
I got lucky. 20 grand for my 50k mile Model Y Long Range on a family deal. Paps upgraded to the X.
34 year old New Mexican born Californian here. I pay nothing for my 2011 hyundai sonata limited. Hyundai messed up and I got a new engine a couple years ago too
How much is your insurance now?
I could finance for 48 months at 6.49% (slight increase from my current loan). Payments would be around $440/month for a 2021 Tesla Model 3. I am currently paying almost $500/month for a Mazda that gets 30 mpg 😂
Bought my 2024 model Y, after selling my old car for 2k and the discounts / tax rebate I got the car for 35k. Put 25k down, will pay the car off in less than a year with my bonuses
This is my exact situation I just haven’t pulled the trigger: trade in 2.3k for model Y but want to put 5-8k down … did you deduct the 7,500 when you financed it or didn’t included it and let the bank see it was cheaper
@@niyajackson8158
Here’s what I did:
I went on inventory, usually there are new cars that are discounted. I got mine discounted 3k, plus the tax incentive that got my car 37k after taxes. Then sold my car for 2k which got it to 35k after taxes. Also, I went into the Tesla store and the rep was able to find a more discounted inventory car than what I was finding. I also used someone’s referral code and got perks.
I’d suggest getting the basic model. I don’t think most people need the long range. For instance, I drive way more than most people: 50 - 100 miles a day or 1500 to 2000 miles per month. With that being said, I have never used a super charger, never had any reason to get worried about my battery, I get home with always 30% or higher. The basic model y is amazing and feels luxury. I got the space grey and I love it.
If you want a referral code you can use mine: ts.la/cameron153273
I suggest using a referral code since you can get free self driving or super charging hours and other perks. I hope this was helpful. I’d also suggest doing a demo drive so you can see how you like it first.
Yeah financing through credits unions are best!

Hey Jeremiah,. I have good credit, what credit unions are offering good rates rn? looking for under 5%
Navy federal credit union
Just about anybody can, the big thing is understanding there are actually good vehicles out there to buy instead
Dang 1000 dollar insurance and state EV tax is ludicrous 😳 but no really that state is definitely against buying an EV
I’m with You. I am 100% waiting on the Model 3 ludicrous. This car will be mind blowing !! I almost went with the Model Y performance, due to the insane prices with credits up to $4,280, transfer FSD, free supercharging & 1 year free premium connectivity. I just like the M3 because it’s more nimble and super fast !! ⚡️😎
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
$67k for a model 3?!? Holy crap. I just picked up my 2024 MYLR last week (with optional white seats, Ultra Red paint and tow hitch) for $44k. No sales tax. Registration $540 (has $50 ‘EV road tax fee included). and insurance $1,300 for a year. I assume you live in California where they tax the crap out of you (?). My off peak charging is 19 hours each day and all weekend for .13 KWh. It took 16 days from time of order until I picked it up.
How did you have no sales tax?
@@ttbeezy Some states offer incentives to pay the tax on new EV purchases.

Is YT your only income or do you do other stuff?
I'm curious what you do for a living that $1000 is only 5% of your monthly income because that's a damn well paying job.
I just placed my order for a model y since the 0.9% interest was so tempting. Definitely taking the 72 months not because i cannot afford 4 years but because I'm smart enough to earn more that 5% interest on my money in the market.
Would you instead buy a used Tesla for 20k less than a new one and invest the difference? Would that be a smart move?
@@ignaciosanchezofficial id prefer to buy new. Dont want someones hand me down, had that my whole life growing up as the 3rd child. I make enough to still max out my roth every year and contribute to my employer matched 401k.
Meanwhile in California where we will eventually be forced to have an EV. Our KWH cost is .37 per KW and soon to be .47.... It's actually not that much better than GAS!
The High Rising Tone is out of control, otherwise good video.
This was an awesome review 👍🏼
Get and live debt free!! I only pay insurance and electric. its a great feeling.
