- In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this SUT while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this SUT designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I love this avalanche LTZ I want this so bad!
Me too i have a ‘04 Z71
the 2007's are probably the best looking Avalanche. Almost a muscle-car-like look to them. Great looking truck.
The more watch videos on these the more i want one
the transmission of the 2007-present Chevrolet Avalanche
Transmission
4-speed automatic (2007-08)
6-speed automatic (2009-present)
I'm really loving how the tailgate is laid out with all the compartments.
Master piece. Greatness.
I have a 2011 Avalanche LT-2 Z71 packaged, and its identical to this car! Awesome truck! Recommend it!
Kyle
Nice job as always keep the reviews coming in!
I wanted either Silverado HD or LTZ looked at Ford super duty.
After reviewing my needs for company truck a friend bought 2011 LTZ Avalanche, white looks new.
I liked side storage for tools will hold 4 x 8 plywood with cover no need to buy cover, add can get the avalanche 1,500 to 2,000 less than Chevy 1500 LTZ I'm sold.
this car is my favorite, because the interior is really nice no matter what. I would like to own one of these when I grow up. my dad has one of these
Awesome Avalanche!
Mane! I love these Avalanches yo! :)
Man, you have a bunch of Avalanche videos!
great looking truck man
sweet, what a beautiful truck :)
I'm 23 this is my dream car since I was 15 or so now I'm in Guatemala and In about a year I'll get at least a 07 one so sad they discontinued it
It'll be back soon. Chevy does this with most of their vehicles.
I’m 15 and my dad has a 13 av I’m excited to get it as my first car when he gets a new truck
That black color is beautiful and the wheels are sharp! Great video as always Kyle!
Cool truck!
Nice Truck!
Cool truck
After I get my 2010-2012 Ford Taurus SHO, I am will be getting me a Hot Red Chevrolwt Avalanche LTZ like this!!
i enjoy video.absolute awsome car.compare to the 2003 its luxery ride
i love chrome wheels does t have that mean appeal as the 2003.
it does have less plastic.absolute awsome car thank you
I have one, base level trim. The interiors are garbage, but these are very well built from a mechanical standpoint.
puppetmaster983 the Avalanche is basically a Suburban in truck form
Folding down the rear seat for extra length to the bed is what makes it an Avalanche. Also, if you film it a bit farther from the highway, the background noise might be a little less distracting.
Its not His Fault that The car is Close to the Highway
@Edtweet z71 refers to the 4 wheel drive suspension package which is still available.
that's in nice condition
I like those trucks,
i got the 2006 LT GFX limited edition and loves it has anyone purchased a vinyl sticker for the front bow tie if so do they last?
Once I graduate college, I'm gonna buy one of these.
graduate yet?
You get it?
Hey guys, how's it going. TODAY i bring you a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ. (i'm at Brandon Reeves Auto World in Monroe, North Carolina) This is going to be a full in-depth tour of the Avalanche, start it up show the engine, as well show you few the features on the interior as well as exterior.
i want to drive this in Europe so bad!!
Yes.
Sharp Truck, I like how Chevy did away with the plastic bumpers.
I agree with you. Chevy interiors are not the best, but Ford engines are terrible. I believe that's why the saying for the intitials goes: Ford - Found On Road Dead.
Fix-Or-Repair-Daily
Gordon McElvany yep chevy is the best
USFanLovesMinHo their engines WERE terrible.
I have a Ford Fusion & have had literally zero issues in 2.5 years...I just like Ford cars & Chevy trucks lol
Why would they be both bad I think ford and chevy are both the best
@buickboy92 Yep, and it includes 2Hi, 4Auto, 4Hi, and 4Lo, and if you get the Z-71 package, you get a offroad suspention, and a electronically locking rear differential.
@tomriley123 Ok, so is it hard to see midsize to compact cars behind u when backin up?
2007 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ, 76,785 miles
@Edtweet Thanks, are u a fan of diesels?
Good
@kgriggs75 i love the Z-71 package, my son has the package on his silverado, and i not only includes a offroad suspention, but a electronically locking rear differential, and a limited slip front differential, but most people don't know anythin about a differential
How much is one avalanche with a new transmission or motor with 2,000 miles
@bichoorojo are you refering to all vehicle owners, or just the avalanche?
You only live once, so if people want to spend a lot on a vehicle, then more power to them. If that is what makes them happy.
@1964mm Hmmm I would think it'd go like this: V6(most family cars/vans) I4, V8, I6(lots of BMWs), V12, V10 (Vipers, M5) then the W style engines in the Volkswagens. In the US there may be a lot more V8s but up here in Canada a ton of the cars on the road are either V6s or I4s.
@tomriley123 hey, so i the rear view winshield a really bad blind-spot?
@kendrickevans301 yeah sometimes when we're in Mexico we drive like in the dirt and mud, and through the Forrest! sctratches the paint but is pretty awesome!
but we bought some 22" wheels for it ! didnt put them on this year though!
the 2007-present Chevrolet Avalanche is assembled in
Silao, Mexico
I realized that I did a good job at designing my all weather outside thing that people of u.s.a. America kinda took me in.(resurant-panda express).vyical-Chevrolet =averlanche.
what's it like to drive? I'm interested in the Avalanche but so far the closest I've gotten to driving it has been driving an Escalade.
@kendrickevans301 oh and your truck's sound awesome!
@tomriley123 Oh, ok, i get what ur sayin now. Thnx 4 ur feedback cuz blindspots are the main things I wonder about any truck. Last question though; How tall r u?
@09acuratsx are you talking about the ford f-250 and 350?
@fanowner12 Nope, this one was not 4WD. It didn't have the knob( switch where is located by the headlight switch. Also, just because it doesn't have a Z-71 emblem, doesn't mean it's not 4WD, all a Z-71 means is that it has a offroad upgrade suspention, along with a locking rear differential.
@kgriggs75 believe it or not, the Z-71 package is actually offered on 2WD models as well, don't know why......... you know what, i just realized that i am getting the Z-71 package and Z-66 package missed up. The Z-66 package is offered on 2WD models, not the Z-71 package. The Z-66 package includes a locking rear differential via electric switch.
@77Quan92 Well I don't find it to hard. It depends on your height or wether your seat is high up enough. Like I said it's most like any other truck/large SUV.
@Edtweet do you'll ever go offroading?
@Edtweet someone in my family has a silverado Z-71 4WD, with 27 " wheels and tires, and has a " skyjackers " lift package on it, it's very nice. I have a 2011 Ford F-250 king ranch 4x4. Just traded in my 2009 for it. I work for Ford Mo Co on the f-series production line, so i get employee discount.I plan to lift it up about 3 " or so just so when I go hunting, i can put it in 4LO, and crawl over the occasional Tree stump. I'm not going to do anyhing big to it tho.
@ARCHERY61 its just the camera it dont actually flash
Can you do a stock one?
I was just thinking that they look like an SUV/pick-up cross. You've got the passenger interior of an SUV with a box in the back. I'm thinking of moving on from my Envoy to an Avalanche.
about to sell my 04 thinking of buying a new one but the gas for this avalanches is crazy
@crystalscan2002 they are very shiny, which leather is not suppose to be, atleast good qulity leather lol.
@Edtweet no it doesn't, a Z-71 package is a offroad suspention and locking rear differential that is optional on all models, not standard. It has nothing to do with trim level ( LTZ ).
@77Quan92 It's not to bad like any other truck I find.
@Edtweet yeah, the z-71 package is just a package, and it has always been a package refering to a upgraded offroad suspention for better offroad handling, and a locking differential to engage positive traction. Z-71 has NOTHING to do with trim level, which is either LS, LT, or LTZ. Those trim levels describe how well the vehicle is equipped. Like i said, Z-71 is just a optional offroad package that is optional on all models, even the LS, which is base. Has nothing to do with the vehicle's trim.
are those the factory lights
@sphenct15 the is250 and 350 are the same exact cars, but different engines. but i'm like you, i wish he'd do one if he found it, i'd like to know what they sounded like, but as far as options and features, they're the same.
@bichoorojo There are a lot of 4 and 6 cylinder cars too. In order of popularity I would say it goes: V8 (most popular), V6, I4, V10, V12, I6 (least popular).
@kendrickevans301 thats weird cuz my parents own a suburban Z71 2003 and no where on the truck does it say suburban it just has Z71 emblems on it! the gold accents! and now its just offered as a package! right? or not!
@kendrickevans301 on my truck it includes a locking rear 3.73 gears bigger torson bars bigger sway bars and skid plates.
@kgriggs75 my son has locking 4:10:1 rear gear ratio via electric switch, it functions as a open when unlocked. My f-250 has electronically locking differential which lock automatically, and has limited slip front.
@TheAZ1070 LTZ is basically the new model of Z71. it has everything Z71 offers but they just changed the name!
what percentage of manual/auto is there?
i like this truck, but for some reason, i like the older, " plastic bound " models better, being i'm a big 4WD fanatic, and i like the rugidness look of the offroad type plastic on the older models, but i do like the newer models as well.
@tomriley123 Do you like it? I'm quite interested in this car!
@kendrickevans301 my dad has his ford f 150 flare side for 15 years, we've just been repairing it for a year now it starting to DIE! LOLS! but yeah i would want my first vehicle to be a ford f 150 too. and my dad likes the new model fords but the truck is like family now! i cant drive it though because the steering is messed up and the speed thing is broken, so i have no clue how fast we're going! lol
Does anybody knows if they have this type of truck on V6?
Love, love, love the new Chevrolet Avalanches, even though I prefer the 2002-2006 ones better. Sucks that it doesn't have nav. I take it this is also 4X2, since there's no Z/71, 4X4, or AWD badges??????
can you do a 2011 avalanche please
Need some help guys...a 2007 chevrolet avalanche or a 2007 escalade ext? I'm so stuck cause i think the caddy looks better but the avalanche is cheaper on probably everything...help?
@crystalscan2002 i know, not don't get me wrong, they are somewhat, soft. But they are very slippery, and shiny. I tell u a way to judge good leather. Rub your finger down the leather with pressure to that finger, if the leather stretches and wrinkles, it's good leather, but if it just stays the same, it's bad quility leather.
make a video on it
This is solely personal preference and what is the point of putting so much of one's earnings towards a vehicle that they know will need new parts in a few years? Would rather get a Ford and be happy knowing its interiors last. And for being able to afford a vehicle such as this one - you do not know me or my future.
at 5:53.... interesting fact! Didn't know that! lol
Can you start up that Nissan Altima thats at your family dealership?
Where is this at
I like your videos but I would like to know the price.
2007 Chevrolet Avalanche
is this truck for sale?
I thought the LTZ had nav? My Z71 does.
@jidstores No it's not, it's just 2WD!
@flashback1341 Depends what year? The old one's were horrible.
can you do a 2013 one
Chris Perez there wouldn't be much of a difference
como me gustan en color blanco una avalanche chevrolet
Depending on the Avalanche model, some are close to $60k. Caddy's are pretty darn expensive though.
ain't nobody tryin' to buy brand new cars fuck that lol
lose value soon as u drive 'em off the lot
@kendrickevans301 oh! cool!
I know this is old but Ineed to ask why the steroeo or wha tever it is lights are blinking crazily timemark 1:20-1:30 ?
thats just the camera. has nothing to do with the actual car. a lot of videos did that back then
As is the case with most recent GM cars, the interior looks better in the newer model but feels cheaper.
@kendrickevans301 YES IT DOES! AND WORKS QUITE NICELY TOO! lol
@Edtweet haha lol!
@buickboy92 its AWD
