Watching Zs trying to figure out TV shows from the past while acting passive is laughable! Give it up, you can't change anything that happened. I see this happen quite a bit on other channels when young ones talk about past TV shows and Movies, all the while suggesting racism, sexism, etc... with a fake sense of humor towards whatever they're watching so passively 🤣
ALF is going to come back. Paul Fusco is currently developing a feature length film. The biggest obstacle he is facing is deciding if ALF will be a puppet, CGI, or a combination of both. What most people don't realize is that ALF is not dated by the 1980s and 1990s. He would fit right in with the crazy 2020s. As for the Tanners, well their story ended when the show was cancelled. Max Wright died of cancer several years ago. The surviving cast all retired from acting shortly after the show ended. Basically, there won't be a reunion with ALF and the Tanners in the new film. Paul said in a recent interview that he is against recasting the Tanners. ALF will simply have misadventures with new people he meets. The Tanners will certainly get mentioned in the film. There could even be a scene with ALF visiting Willie's grave in the cemetery.
I was born during the last few years of Alf, roughly 38 years ago, I wouldn't expect anyone born in 1999 or after not to understand the 80s and 90s at all
ALF can still come back, despite the leaked footage, which tbh, doesn't bother me at all, as it was just the cast goofing around. Anybody angry about ALF saying the N word should direct their towards the makers of LA Law, as Fusco or whomever was voicing the puppet, in the footage was referencing an episode of La Law, where a man with tourette's syndrome repeatedly says the N word, throughout the episode. I'm not kidding, this happened. Many people still love ALF, & i still hold out hope, that we'll get another series, or at least a new movie. Better hurry though, Paul Fusco isn't getting any younger!
Aren't you kids taking sitcoms too seriously? We all grew up with Alf and never put a cat into a mixer. Kids today are even more squeamish and prudish than our grandparents who annoyed us for years. Hearing teenagers bragging and giving moral sermons about fourty year old comedy shows is just ridicilous. Get a life!
I aint cancelling the Alf character but rather the person/people that made sexual comments and say the n-word multiple times THROUGH Alf, like they’re the ones that should be questioned 💀
"fap" as a vulgarity was non a thing prior to the start of the new millennium where it started out an becoming a neologism first as an onomatopoeia prior to ever being known as a verb and was not particularly common as such prior to 2010. It is unlikely that having a name including that syllable that long ago was probably entirely inconsequential in every single way for the entirety of his life.
I agree, that seasons 3-4 were not great. I also agree, that... some scenes were slightly embarrassing due to cultural norms... even back then, I slightly felt it, but still... ALF was a good show, at least 1-2 seasons. You can make such videos almost about any old TV show or movie. Saved By The Bell had similar problems presenting certain "teenage topics" etc. But they were still good shows.
At this point, everything is 'problematic' to anyone 16-35. Gotta love the sanitized language uni taught them to regurgitate with. The current generations hubris is unfathomable, especially coming from people who weren't even there to experience it. Hindsight 20/20. E.g. know where the Nobel prize came from? Alfred Nobel invented dynamite, to be used as a force for good (mining, construction), but Dynamite ended up being used frequently for bombings. Once this happened, he made the Nobel Prize to encourage scientists to work towards peace. Hindsight is 20/20, and youre basing the opinion not on experience but on other peoples' regurgitated opinions. Notice none of these videos are hosted by anyone who was alive during the time periods in question? Life must truly be miserable, if your entire focus in life is finding 'poblems' in our culture from decades before, up until today. When youre a hammer, everything looks like a nail

@@1977TA man, do I hope this is true!!! I'm excited for this!!! A scene of ALF visiting the grave of Willie would be so touching!!!
That’s a nice thought. I hope it comes to fruition.

This younger generation has such a problem with a 1980's sitcom but they are entertained by pointless, boring, degenerate irl streamers nowadays.
