I wish you compared them with logger and handmade boots like Nicks, JK and Hoffman.

I can assure you the arbpro boots are not junk, I’m on my second pair of the evo2 and I love them. They are very good for climbing with spurs and can’t be beat climbing without them, super great boots for using ascenders. If you wait around and get a 25% off discount like I do you can get them delivered to your door for right at $200 and just a pair of regular leather work boots cost almost that much so…. My last pair lasted me 2.5 years and I used them for everything, climbing with and with out spurs I run ropes rake yards and run equipment in them. Like literally everything for 2.5 years and only quit using them because I wore a hole on the instep near the big toe from climbing and my feet would get wet in the morning dew. Also I’d like to say that I handed that pair of boots down to my “apprentice” and he’s been in them now for over a year but he only climbs in them and uses other boots for his daily other stuff. Hope that helps.

Yeah I can second that. The arbpros are awesome boots I’m on my 3rd pair I’ve had a pair last me a year but I was climbing all day everyday. The other pair lasted me about 2 years and I’m on my third now. I’d expect a year and a half to 2 years out of them depending on what your typical day looks like. They are great for spurs I’ve done big removals in them with no issues. And they don’t get much better than the arbpros for rope climbing. Also they are very light and don’t overheat your feet or feel clunky. I will say the break in period was tough for me but that’s expected. Overall my favorite boot for tree work.
