    Hey yes so I am loving the content and would love to see a video on setting up my own rates but using the carrier calculated rates!

      On top of the carrier rates, you can add additional fees rather if its in percentage or dollar amount. However if you want to offer a lower rate from the calculate carrier rates, then youre better off making the rates manually versus calculated carrier.

      Hi, as of August 2022, the shipping page is different than what youre showing here (at least for US/domestic biz owners). It's showing me, automatically, economy and standard shipping rates based on my product's weight. Maybe this is obvious, but is economy and standard for USPS? doesn't say. So I feel confused. Thank you

    I had difficulty adding the transit time to the existing shipping rates and after watching you add the backets on the shipping rate name. It came to me that, that was the missing piece of the puzzle. So glad I came to watch your video. Thank you so much for the help.

      Thanks for the comment. For Large furniture, you can follow the same procedure. The only thing is not to use Local carriers since you guys will do the shipping yourselves correct? Or how does that work?

    Hie. I’m still having a bit of trouble with my shipping settings. I did the method you suggested in the video, which was helpful. But when I go to my website and get to the shipping part on check out it says “This order can't be shipped to the
    address you entered. Review your
    address to ensure that all fields have
    been entered correctly and try again.”
    I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong please may you help me

      Did you make sure to create a shipping policy for all dropshipping if applicable? Thats where most people get stuck on.

    Thank you for the video. I'm still having a little troubles with my shipping and am doing tests to see how it works. I have 2 different "apps" on my shopify. So if I purchase an item from each carrier, the shipping seems high. I went in and changed the apps to the printify shipping, but its still not working. I'll keep trying to figure it out, but just don't want to overcharge my guests. Thank you again!

      Hi Natalie. If you setup shipping as per Printify, then that gets tricky. You might want to reach out to them to see what went wrong on the setup. If youre starting off and no one knows your business....its best if you bake the shipping cost inside of the price and offer free shipping all around. Your customers will appreciate it.

    Hey, for some reason I am trying to ship to usa, norway, uk but its only letting me ship to my country even though I added the shipping zones, the other countries option dont even show up in checkout it only shows my country

      At that point something else is in the way. You should create a Shopify support ticket.

      Are you only selling to UK or other countries? If other countries, I advise you create more zones and adding shipping prices per each zone.

    Is it possible to adjust the shipping costs for the products in Shopify without a plugin, for example like this:
    Product A x 1 = shipping costs 5€
    Product A x 2 = shipping cost 5€
    Product A x 3 = shipping costs 8€
    Product A x 4 = shipping cost 13€

      Yes, make ranges based on your price points. but if you want it granular prices to just focus on one product while others have different shipping prices, you need an app for that or try to bake shipping costs inside the price so that shipping is free.

    March 7, 2024 looks a little bit different however I Do already have a Location filled out in the located tab so that is showing up under local delivery and local pickup. im 2Ö34 in, hope having those filled out aren't going to affect this. im desperate!

    Quick question so basically with a P.O. Box what do you put in for address the address of the usps place or your P.O. Box then your number ?

      The best you can do is add the physical address of the Post office which youre PO box lives. So address line #1 is the Post office real address, then line #2 is the PO Box information.       Create a new zone for Canada, then createa a separate zone for UK. Rinse and Repeat.

      Hey there! Thanks for your comment. Make sure that you add both countries in the shipping setup. One for Au and the other for NZ. List their prices as you see fit.     Question? If I’m shipping from aliexpress(china) to the u.s. should I set up international rates or domestic rates?

      One thing is you shipping out to the clients rates, another is how much you pay to ship from Aliexpress to the customer. So its best if you find out from your supplier of Ali express, how much to ship to the US and make your price decision from that. If Aliexpress has different rates internationally, then you set it up accordingly.

    Hi man, great and useful videos, saved plenty of them to my play list to go back to.
    I have one question, a bit of the topic, but you seam like someone who could know the answer.
    Is there a possibility to have one product from different vendors or or same vendor - different product but same design.
    Let me clarify, if I have 1 t-shirt design and supplier is Printful, but Vendors for the blank shirt are different (they have different weight of the shirt, and color options), could I still list that one design with variations like Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight and display available colours accordant to weight selected. And on top of that, to have adequate shirt vendor/type sent to Printful.
    Same issue I have with Wall art, I have two suppliers I want to chose from based on selection of art print option (acrylic, canvas or framed poster). I want customer to see that as one product with more options on single product page , bu to be able so chose which supplier fulfils which option.

      Yes you can. Just make sure your product title is very clear to the buyers, and have unique Skus for both suppliers.

      Hi Leigh. Not sure I follow your question. You want to give a price before showing them the shipping cost. Typically the clients see the shipping costs towards the end of the checkout. Can you rephrase?

      Go to 12:40 mark and instead of Rest of the world, choose a country and set the shipping rates the same as before.

    Ok so, how do I get my store to register that its a drop shipping store so that I can make those adjustments? I mean I don't even have the option of Drop Commerce on my stores shipping page.

      Thats because youre not shipping it, your dropshipper is shipping it systematically. So what you need to program is Shipping as if its coming from your location. Then you set your prices.

      Hi Bigarabrami. 1 - This depends where in the world youre selling.     I can't change the region of my store. I'm form the Netherland and when I try to set the region to US for example I can't I added US to my shipping zone but I can't change it can you help

    hey, guys is it possible to charge a custom shipping rate based on a set of conditions like: 5$ shipping fee for items between 0$ and 20$ and select one carrier for all orders? i would like shopify to route all orders to USPS.

      Yes this can be programmed manually in the Shopify backend. You can create ranges for a shipping policy.

    After you added the DHL express option, how would the supplier know to select a faster shipping option? Is it automatically linked or something? (I'm using Dsers/Aliexpress, so there are multiple shipping options). Thanks, and great video

      Shopify doesnt speak to your Dropshipper vendors. You would have to manually create a shipping price based on their location. It would be best to ask your Dropshipping vendor what the average cost to a country to ship is. Then add that into your settings as a one time thing. There is no linking in systems.

    This was so helpful. Thank you! I'm wondering what's going to happen if I use integrations (Lulu, Printify, Printful, etc.) that autocalculate shipping and someone orders products that come from different suppliers. Would Shopify correctly calculate that, or would it be best to create my own shipping profiles? Thank you!

      Hi there. No it wont auto calculate the Shipping if youre using those services. You would have to find out how much they charge for shipping and create a unique shipping cost profile based on the vendor youre using.

      @@Edwintopdigital Thanks! It does look like if you have product A assigned to shipping profile A and Product B assigned to Profile B that it will use the correct profiles to calculate. I'm still testing though. It's a LOT. 🙂

    Thanks for the tutorial but here's my problem, haven set up my rate and delivery estimates which appears on my product page, my estimate has been stocked to a particular date which doesn't change as days go by, like I have estimated delivery for 26/11 after editing the code for my store theme, I did the editing 2 weeks ago and ever since then it has been stocked at the same date which is 26/11. How do I go about this please, I used drop shipping app to import my products and I've set a shipping rate for it as well but then on the shipping settings, it shows something like "processing time incomplete " and I've not been able to rectify this for the past 2 weeks.

    This is an informative video. It was short but very educational. I am a Ghanaian living in Ghana, and I have recently started my Shopify store, but I want more clarification on setting up my shipping zone and rate.       Can you elaborate more on this? What do you mean have products ship to you? I would assume just like any ecommerce purchase. You buy it from your supplier and send it to your address.

      If your business model is dropshipping and you want it to be shipped in 2-3 days, you need to find a dropshipper that delivers in this time period. They all have different delivery dates. Its best you consult with your dropshipper.

    So on my rating I have dsers for my suppliers ,so my question is on the “rest of the world “ it already has DHL Express and usps already automatically set up for me but on the handling fee is blank so do I edit it or leave it alone ?

      Thats entirely up to you if you want to charge an additional handling fee on top of their prices.

    Thank you for your video. The issue that I am having is in the menu where the customer selects which shipping they want it says 1 business day. Then it is calculating shipping at a low amount (ex. 3.55) when I go to Dsers to process the order, the shipping actually totals about 16.00. Are you able to tell me where my mistake is in my settings?
