No joke, one of the best episodes of It's Alive I've ever seen, and it's partially due to Brad's additional craziness but mostly to Hunzi's editing

@@allygirl641 - certainly not typically (for storage), but when they're pickling I will. I want them to last more than a couple days.
I’d love to see Brad do some bottled fruit! A little peach and thyme moment maybe? Apricots sitting in some white wine? I don’t really know what fruits are in season in America but maybe some bottled cherries or apple pie but bottled.
Now I'm imagining these fruits as a spread with the "fermented peanut butter" idea, and I am here for it!

We pickle green mangoes in India, with a little bit of asafetida and green chilies. There are severe different varieties of fruit pickles in India

i gotta say. I enjoy that he lets his family into his shows. its like all the other chefs are afraid to show their families off, but brad is down to earth and is very family friendly. I love that kind of cooking.

I grew up in South Africa and really miss something called Piccalilli. I think it’s quite common in the commonwealth world. It’s a fermented mustardy vegetable spread...almost like a savoury jam. It’s so great on sandwiches. I’d love to see your take on it.
