I guess, Its been almost a year When central government approved the metro (ignore the pm foundation stone in February 2024 and election code of conduct because the line was approved in mid 2023 and numerous tender being called but cancelled, the civil work should be on ground by then atleast for some section) Still no civil construction work in ground... They are just finishing up 1st 9 km geotechnical soil investigation after metro approval And that is ridiculously slow... After 1 year from the approval Hmrtc and now new body i.e gmrl invite the tender for general consultation and detail design consultancy for like 3 times or more but got cancelled due to numerous unknown or stupid reason (less participation of company) It look like this year we cannot see the civil construction in the ground On the other hand upmrc (uttar Pradesh metro rail body) is doing a tremendous job and create a world record by building a kanpur metro (priority corridor) or agra metro (priority corridor) in less than or near to 2 years... One thing I am really concerned and worry That this first section of 9kms geotechnical soil investigation is should not be treated as a priority corridor They are already late i mean extremely late or delayed And if they treat this First 9kms section as a priority corridor Then whole 29 kms of Gurgaon metro extension from millennium city centre to cyber city will get be operational after 2032 (because its tough project by looking the performance/working ethics of hmrtc, gmda, mcg and haryana government letharginess as well as the small and narrow road in old gurgaon, removal or build new structure, traffic and land acquisition) If they consider this 9 kms section as a priority corridor then till 2029 next lok sabha election they will only focus on completing this small section to impress the voter in 2029 If we don't raise voice now Then our wait will only get longer Gmrl or hmrtc should execute this whole 29 kms metro approved line as a priority corridor divided in a packages for fastest execution of whole corridor And Should completed in a time bound manner because its very delayed

Sahay Ji I often watch your well made, well researched and informative videos. Your on the spot ground reporting is excellent. Through you I want to convey that all underpasses made or being made in Gurgaon have a speed breaker at the entry and exit points. However, at no underpass before speed breaker is never a caution sign for the approaching speed breaker. This often causes sudden bump to the vehicle and is always dangerous as vehicle can go out of control and sudden breaking can hurt the car passengers etc. Please convey to the concerned authorities to install warning sign for approaching speed breakers for the safety and help of road users. the road from palam vihar till t point of sector 21( on old gurgaon road ) is very narrow and has heavy traffic, and has trees all along the road creating a canopy and shade. Building a metro on the stretch will be a disaster for residents as that is the only access road. this metro project should have started 10-15 years ago when vehicular traffic was still manageable. This is a bad idea in terms of feasibility given current circumstances. Should have been underground. any comments on this?
Are you referring to kapashera chowk and atul kataria chowk both of these four ways come on same road are you referring this one as this one is known as old delhi gurgaon road.
Y doesn't Central govt adopt "Tree Transplantation policy" ? The decades old trees r just cut off... In 47°C heat wave, the big trees r the only solution.. N no checks whether the saplings planted as "photo-ops" even survive after 2 years?

So this source of information is your gut feeling and not verified one. 9500 trees have been transplanted instead of cutting. Incase you don't know where they have been transplanted come with me I'll show you. Lack of knowledge and self awareness can not be used to play victim card and blame game.
The tree transplantation policy has already been rolled out in 2019-20 across India. Thanks to Dwarka Expressway due to which this policy came into existence and now it's mandatory for every project, it's part of Environment Clearance which is a mandatory step for Clearance of all kind of projects Pan India.
Street light work will be done now to make money. As metro work will start they will be removed and again tender will be given to make more money. Same story everywhere even with roads and footpaths
