It would impress more if SW had a "we have fixed all these bugs" -festival instead. We DONT NEED more bling-bling. WE NEED the core functionality to actually work... SW should spend a full year by ONLY fixing bugs instead. Such move would bring our team back on subscription again. We do fine on 2017 sp5 as most of the new stuff are useless anyway and does not work and it takes 5-10 years for SW to get it working properly, if ever.

I feel like auto-repairing mates should have been number one. 20% of my day was repairing mates on our main assemblies. No more.

I wish Solidworks would autoreatach lost connections in drawings to similar faces, as in Autodesk Inventor... This feature would save tons of time...

I wish wrap mate existed . Like a flat surface (label) can wrap around a cylinder

Does Solid Works support the use of 3D motion controllers. Also does Solid work have a programmable API like iLogic?

Maybe they fix the simulation files being put in the parts folder alongside the empty folder they should be in, this shit is super annoying

Still wasting loads of time because SW doesn't select the next level down part or sub-assy but rather a face on a part four or five sub-assy's down in assemblies, think it was five years ago I requested that little change, you just waste so much time when selecting multiple parts, works fabulously in Inventor. Along with a view-cube like in Inventor, I'd find it super useful even though I have a space mouse. These release events are just getting depressing now, new things I would hardly use and no change to basic problems.
My company has just been offered 1 year free with Siemans NX, might switch I think, SW are taking our money and spending it on other stuff.

What's not new in solidworks? Well just look at 3d experience to see what could have been in solidworks but greed takes over. I'm switching my company to solidedge,1 because they stole draftsight from current users, 2 they crippled the software by removing remote licensing. 3 no nurb based surfacing. 4 no advancement in 3d scanning tools. Solidegde is better than solidworks now. Welcome to 2022
