    Redhead steering box. Highly recommended

      That will come, so far my original box is actually still ok, I've been tightening it up for years and its just now to the point where there is no more tightening to be had.

      @@Geeks4x4 be careful. After adjusting the steering box once or twice it can turn dangerous with binding so I was told.

    Hey, great video. I just got an 05 Excursion, Limited V10. It seems higher than stock but I can't figure out if its lifted or leveled. Can I send you some pics to help me figure this out?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

      Does it have stock wheels or 16 inch wheels? If so you can test your measurements on mine, if not send me the measurement from the center of the hub to the fender.

    I called ATS today and I'm waiting for either a call or email from Junior. I am hoping we can keep the 4 inch lift and still increase capacity. 03 X 7.3 rinning on Vege Oil. Need a bit more. Good vids thanks man

    So with the leveling shackles, your truck sat level with the spring swap and factory rear blocks?

    • @Geeks4x4
      @Geeks4x4  3 года назад

      Yes, and level with stock springs with the shackles.

    Your U bolts need to be flush with the blocks not gapped.

    • @Geeks4x4
      @Geeks4x4  4 года назад

      not sure exactly what your trying to say, but the ubolts are in the correct position and torqued to spec.

      @@Geeks4x4 your U bolts are not positioned right they need to be tight against the blocks you can see in your video they are apart. So they are not right and many people know this as well.

      I promise you I'm not lying or joking with you, those U bolts need to be closer together towards the Block. Just trying to help you out.

      If I was you trying taking a hammer and tap them towards the block and re-tighten your bolts.

    Yeah, Hellwig is a better rear sway bar, However I can tell you that I did not notice any change when I had it on my 4x4. I also have a 2wd Excursion, same application, I switched it out, and WOW! Huge difference..... As for the 4x4, the Air-lift bags made a noticeable difference...

      @Geeks4x4  4 года назад +2

      interesting... seems like everyone on the excursion pages just raves about how you need the sway bar to tow heavy... glad to hear I'm not the only one.
