Tips to make your washer last longer: only put detergent to the max fill or less. This is an efficient washer and does not need a lot of detergent. Using excess detergent will cause it to corrode on the inside overtime which will cause it to stop working. Many people make this mistake all the time thinking more soap is better and cleans better. So wrong. You don't need much. And you want to use a low sudsing detergent. Also, do not only use cold water all the time. Clean your washer at least once a month on cleaning mode. Run a wash cycle on the hottest water temperature setting with NO DETERGENT and NO CLOTHES to make sure all the soap scum and buildup is removed to prevent corrosion. Also, NEVER EVER overload the machine. This will cause wear and tear and eventually knock the barrel off balance and your machine will basically be DONE. Make sure you change/clean the filters regularly. Front load machines are more sensitive and require more TLC. I learned this from a tech...
Yep you only need 2 tbs max I also leave the door and tray open run tub clean regularly and have never had issues my front loader smells clean unlike my old top load I also use hot water and bleach regularly and only completely fill the drum when washing comforters

I am getting a new front loading set here shortly. I was debating on looking into SAMSUNG and LG, but after seeing how little water this front loader uses to wash, I think I will go with the LG front loaders due to how much more wash water they use. This machine uses 1/4 the amount of water to wash than my current front loader. Hello LG to me!
@Isaac Joby John hell no I used them at the laundromat And the the really good front loaders i tried are industrial but they didn't allow you full temperature controls, then i tried the he front loaders and all i saw was clothes just flopping around.
Pleasant afternoon to you Kirk Rivas and how are you doing? I have a new 2020 made version of this exact washer and dryer, just in charcoal and chrome. My washer does the same violent banging around with the spin cycle. I saw on RUclips that people have solved this issue by replacing the shock absorbers. We know the other major problem stems with the infamous spider arm assembly. I am hoping mine is way too new for that. What is your take on this? Additionally, mine NEVER fills with that much water. I was surprised to see so much water running down the acrylic glass. How do we adjust the water on these models? Thanks for your time. Cheers!
I have a Samsung front loader I notice the samething not enough water all the watet just goes out, so what I did was I got this aluminum foil with glue I did and extensión and added on the inside for the water to get more in the back and it work i have more water in the machine.
Is it normal for the washer to take forever and stop? There’s no error message it just pauses and I have to play around with the start and pause button for it continue
So when the water comes out into the clothes where does the other half that runs down the door into the bottom go? My washer does the same thing I just feel like my soap is being wasted
No need to worry, eventually all of the soap and water will mix together. Some machines like GE will not spray over the clothes at all, instead it floods the bottom of the tank slowly saturating the clothes.
Thank you for posting this video. I purchased a Samsung and I thought it was broken because the washer was not filling up with water. Is there a trick to have it fill the drum with more water. I use bedding cycle cuz it seems to give more water but still not enough.
There is a way to make it add more water no matter what, BUT if your washer has any warranty, it WILL void it completely because it requires tampering with the insides of the machine. So only do this at your own risk, or do this if your machine no longer has any warranty. Take off the top panel, and on the bottom right, there should be a pressure sensor with a screw on the top. You need to turn the screw a certain way with a screwdriver and that should allow the machine to add more water.
For the wash cycle it looks like there is no water at all in the bottom for the wash to go through. Is that right? I had a Maytag years ago and there was a certain amount of water that the clothes sat in when it wasn’t spinning. I’m thinking of getting the WF42H5000AW at Costco so I’m curious.
I thought the same thing too, it’s really hard to see but there is a puddle of water all the way at the back of the drum that the clothes sit in. My family had one and I paused the cycle and stuck my hand in to find it haha. It also uses a lot more water depending on the cycle
I had an experience with a similar model of samsung washer. Seems these machines are afflicted with the spider arm issue which makes balancing a huge issue. This one isnt as bad as the one I experienced but good grief I'd never get one of these
They use enough water to saturate the chlothes and the tumbling motions make the chlothes scrub themselves against each other and the drum then it spins drains and rinses
I did not select extra rinse. But if you notice, the machine fills higher in the rinse cycle than the wash cycle. I feel that it's a good thing to have more water during the rinse. Other brands may do the same thing but I noticed it more with Samsung while filming this video.
Kirk Rivas yes I noticed that too! But i have a Siemens was her it rinsed twice or three times normally, and you can have the extra rinse options up to 5 times :) so it’s so interesting to see the washer rinse only just one time 😂
One of the viewers from Africa (I think) mentioned their washers could do up to 5 or so rinses. That's amazing, I'm sure that has a huge benefit for laundry care and probably skin care. The chemicals we use to treat our clothes are probably not so safe for our skin. I don't even want to talk about regulations that impact how we wash our clothes. -- thanks for our comment
Mine does this exact same thing, 2 days old..the washer seems to wobble(visibily can watch the top of the washing machine wobble) as if it's not level, which it is level, shipping bolts have been removed, and it vibrates when ramping up speed or slowing down. Is this truly normal?!
I have this same model washer different color. Yes it has a balancing problem. It's noisy and not for 2nd floor use. I experience this almost every time I wash. I hate it. Maytag, Kenmore or Whirlpool will be my next washer.
was there no soap put in or ? lol I was interested in buying this washer but haven't heard too many good things about it like the drum is no good and rusts, it's too loud, it gets very dirty and hard to keep clean over time, and the unit is just finicky and prone to expensive repairs. People tell me to buy a LG instead. idk
Sometimes soap hides the wash action. This washer is priced in the zone that makes it sells like hot cakes. Since Samsung sells tons of these, there are plenty of stories/reviews too. I personally have not sold enough to see a trend or issue.
Came here too find out why my washer slams the side of washer all the time, found out it isn't just mine watching and reading comments they all do this not just mine lol
You get to watch it in the comfort of your own home, thanks for the comment. My video camera is taking a beating, most of the videos are over an hour but I'm a dealer and sales guy, It really helps me and the customer understand these newer style washers. Many people buy a new washer and are disappointed due to all the governmental changes. So these videos are used for research.
The point is you get to see the machine in action. I have one of these on order. But after watching this video I am big time disappointed. I am canceling my order and I will order a top loader. It's amazes me how they sell these machines without any way for the customer to see them in action. Thanks for the video. Big help in my decision making process!!!!

Kirk if you select extra rinse it will rinse 3 times I saw it rinsed 2 times without extra rinse.
Normal wash has 2 rinses by default so extra rinse adds a 3rd rinse. Also you can remove the liquid detergent trey to use powder detergent

Why it barely have any water in it and you can't see the sudsiness of the soap?
the one what says 28 minutes why does the washing machine keeps failing bunch of times of the balancing?
I still have my 2009 Wf218anb

@@kirkrivas8172 i have the same problem , how could the clothes wash in no water ?
Same looks like the water comes out and most of it runs down the door in to the rubber!

An explanation of why washer fills with water, runs, pauses, fill with water… etc. would be extremely helpful. Looking tells me nothing. Thanks!
What model dryer is that?

I think Samsung have a problem with spin balance..
I did the mop head test on this machine, I will upload it tonight. You need to see the results.
Agree
I hope I don't get a call from Samsung.

milyundlrsmile go with 2017 or older speed queen
I would say go to a KENMORE ELITE Front load washer. It is a product made by LG but it works like a charm!
They dont use a lot of water. Seems to clean ok.

when are you going to do a video of the other whirlpool washer in this video?
It was in for repair, it's gone now. I'll film one when I get another one.

Well that spin balance didn't take long, did it? Lol. My 2006 Frigidaire would have given up long before that.
