Picked up a 5700 XT for $145 for a friend for an upgrade from a GTX 980. They’re worried about switching from Nvidia to AMD but i told them those thoughts will disappear once they see the massive performance improvement. Still an absolute beast of a card. Tested it against my other friend’s 6600 XT and my GTX 1080 Ti. All very similar results and both of those cards are also still beasts.
I just got one last night, the Sapphire Nitro version for $140, did about 3-400 score better than the average 5700XTs on 3DMark benchmarks. I believe there’s a lot out there that we’re mined on
I have an 5700xt and man, what a gpu, totally blew my mind with it's perfs, I've never had a mid end gpu that 3 years later was still great, so I got a new pc, but that 5700xt is still at my backup pc, I just love it.
I just recently picked up a 5700 xt for $110 on my local market, and I put it in a pc to flip and make so much profit. I don't think I'll ever replicate a deal like that again.
Found the best dual fan version of it, the sapphire pulse 5700 xt for 120 euros and talked my way to 100 euros. Probaply the best deal of my life. I could find a 3060 for around 170-200 euro.
It just seems that graphics card should be categorized as 1080p, 2k, and 4k cards. Maybe with a sub categorization of normal and ultrawide, as a lot of gamers have UW monitors. I talk to a lot of gamers that upgrade not realizing that it isn’t necessary unless they upgrade their monitor.

You might want to get a better cpu if you're playing the most recent titles at 1080p since the r5 2600 will hold it back. If you want to play at 1440 or 4k, it's a great choice. I would recomend a r5 3600 or r5 5600 to get the max fps in cpu bound titles.
@@aquss33 you're right but sadly that will be too expensive and money is not easy to get. I've already watched a lot of 2600 + rx 5700xt benchmarks and it's a very good 1080p gpu

I've been rocking this one since it came out and I love the performance. I'm going to upgrade GPU only so I can get RDNA 2 now and RayTrace with FSR. Getting either the RX6700xt or RX6750xt. GREAT family of cards from AMD.😊
As a Rx 6700 xt owner I can say that is it pretty amazing, it handles 1440p with ease and in competitive games I normally play at 1080p and the performance is insane, high fps with 0 frame drops
I got the 5700 XT for 50k pkr which is 180 USD and I play Cyberpunk at 1440p High at almost 60 fps. And with fsr 3 coming soon, I can even play next gen games on it 😎

Yes this is quite true, if your looking for a good card under 100 bucks go with the rx 580 8gb. Had mine for 3 years and it was amazing. If your looking for higher end definitely go for the 3060Ti. For the rx 580, go for the Ryzen 5 2600. But I recommend you upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 7 or 9 so you don't bottleneck.
Ok, So What A lot Of PC Builders Don’t Understand Is The Components Saying If You Had Some Crappy Components But An RTX 4090 Of Course the fps will be at like 60 cap in Fortnite or Any Other CPU Intensive Game So If I Were You I’d Buy A Gpu About 30-45% Of Your Budget Then Go To Pc Part Picker And It’ll Pick the parts for you!
If you're willing to take the risk, theres a lot of these used as mining cards that need flashed for half that price on ebay. I have thought about picking up a lot of them to build a few budget systems to sell. R5 3600, 16gb of cheap 3000mhz ddr4, intel 670p 1tb ssd, and this card with an $80 Segotep psu and you have an amazing system for $450 in thats worth even more.
Forgot every tech enthusiast lives in usa. In the uk u can find a 3060 for very cheap. Around 190-210 probs $230 and even 3070 for about 280 bucks. I saw a 3080 go for only $330 a few days ago. But the newer 40 series remains in 5-700 range
If you're not planning on Ray tracing go for it. I own an rx 6700xt and it can't run games on ultra with rt on. FSR isn't much help either. But it runs everything on and if tweaked properly it can rt
I bought the xfx 5700xt in 2020 for 450 euros 😭 but it still a great VGA. I play well at QHD with high to ultra details ( fps drops to 50to75fps, depends on the game).
Have upgraded to a 5700xt from a 1070 after i got a 5700xt x 3600 build for £350 after moving to series X for a while. So happy with the performance. Anyone in the UK should pick one up as they're under £200.
the cheapest u can have a RTX 3060 12GB NEW is 279, prob alot cheaper if buy used like suggested for the 5700XT... vut yeah a baller card for sure regardless!
I got a PowerColor dual fan RX 5700 XT for 135$ like a month ago .. the most compact model , boy this card can pack a real punch .. handles 1080p , 1440p , and 4k in a lot of titles ... and for emulation , flawless ... and even for the size of the cooler it handles great .. this is a really hot country .. and is always below 65 core 75 hotspot .. the thing about those 5700xt is that most of them have been mining , so the memories could be a little touchy for OC , if you manage to get one , always check if the vbios is the original and not a mining one so you can flash the original back from techpowerup database .. and leave the memories on stock settings , no matter if you have samsung or micron , just leave them stock ... and always raise the power limit to max .. happy 5700xt hunting ...
The only thing bad about the 5700xt is hat its a power hog. It pulls close to 200W under heavy load, which is a problem for systems with a 400W or lower PSU. For them, I'd look at the 5600XT or the 1660 Super, both of which are still VERY good 1080p gamers. And both are $120 or less.
I bought a 3060 for $240 shipped on hardwareswap, so the lowest you can get a 3060 for is not $300 and I think that is a better deal considering the ray tracing performance, driver stability, professional application support and 50% more vram
I bought mine when they came out, did consider selling it back when people were asking crazy prices but I would have had nothing to swap it out for. I am just now going to a RTX 4070 and giving my son the 5700 XT. Great thing about having kids is they get all the best hand me downs ^_^
I just got a rtx 3070 msi trio on Facebook marketplace for $150 it works perfectly and even has the original box and wrap it came in the guy upgraded and didn’t want it anymore and it looked brand new still
I’ve used the 5700xt for about 2 years now it was good at first giving me 300+ frames in certain games.. now i get frame drops on a 240hz monitor capping at 180fps its great but definitely upgrading
Had one of these for like 2 years now and it performs flawlessly! Might wanna upgrade to a 6000 card when the prices go down, but even today, i got nothing to say about it! :)
I bought a red devil 5700 xt for $180 10 months ago. But i feel now the budget King is the 6700 xt. Especially for how demanding new AAA titles have become. I hate the new upscaling crap. I want to run my games native. Its getting ridiculous. Its giving game developers a pass to be lazy and not optimize their titles.
Now I love AMD but it is renowned that their 5000 series were the worst time when it came to its drivers. So beware aswell as that their not a priority anymore for and to update their drivers, personally I would recommend just going for 6600xt or the 6700xt more support and drivers are extremely stable and your getting the same or better performance
1 One of the primary Mining Cards, 2 Not as much Vram as orig 3060, 3 Benchmarks at 1080. 4 its still a great deal and would be my choice budget minded build.
The problem might be that most cards from the 5700 series that are now being sold over the used market come from mining rigs and may not work long anymore. During the high phase of mining related shortages over available GPUs for gamers two years ago prices where crazy high. People could sell their 5700 or 5700 XT for 700+ EUR. I believe most owners chose this opportunity. Please, keep this risk in mind.
you're wrong, you don't know mining, the cards must be operated at low consumption to have high yield, so the mining cards are treated better than if used for gaming
I just got one for 150€. It's Evoke OC edition. I upgraded from my old RX 570 4GB, so it's a massive difference for me. I paired it with Ryzen 5 3600, and I will use it for 1080p, so I should be more than fine.
I've been considering this card instead of the 6600 XT lately but my only concern is (that I don't know if I should even be concerned about) is the power consumption. I don't know how significant their power consumption difference is.
I got a RX 5700 XT Red Devil in a cheap used PC, last year. Repadded and repasted with PTM 7950. It's a great card. Too bad AMD drivers are still garbage. I get random crashes in all kinds of games.
I got a complete setup which includes a hp p22h 75hz 1080p monitor a membrane keyboard and mouse combo for 3k pkr and a normal headphone for 4k pkr and a pc which has intel core i3 10100f h510m mobo 16gb ram 250gb nvme 1tb hdd antec gaming case and a rx 5700xt for like 501 usd
My brother built me a pc for my wedding gift from his old parts after an upgrade. I got a 5700xt and a 3600x. I under clocked and volted the card and messed with fan curves to keep it from running too hot. It's been great so far.
Another great budget graphics card is the GTX 1080 ti because it is around similar price or a little bit more than an RX 5700 xt and delivers similar performance to an RTX 3060
6600xt and 5700xt cost the same here in S.A. on used market. For a 100w power draw difference and 2 years difference.... plus potential software fps boosts ill take the 6600xt
I mean, is good but it uses more power, soo... the money you refuse to pay for a better graphics card you gonna pay it in electricity. But is a good choice if you don't have enought money. But not the best one.
But if u think ab it. It then requires a stronger psu which is more overall money in my opinion the rx6600 gets by with a 450w as it’s been working for me for about a year now I paid 160 for my gpu+psu and that being said the 5700xt gets you at 160 for just the gpu
I used this card back in 2020 and it capped my 1440p 32inch monitor at 144hz on every game but had to upgrade to 3070 due to driver issues. It has excellent performance
What issues did you have I just got a 5700xt and absolutely hate everything about it . I can not get it to run anything with out stutters . My 1050ti smokes this things as of right now with my current problems
Yeah in my country this price is not relevant, in here rx5700xt is around 270$, but one particular brand called Asurix is really cheap, I really don't know the brand but it's brand new it's price around 150$
I just cant get myself to go for amd in any segment anytime soon atleast until i get good rtx support on it plus i just trust intel and nvidia much more in terms of reliability .
I've had issues with that too but it doesn't happen all of the time. Only when I'm trying to stream with an overly graphically intensive game like control or if I'm running multiple things at once. Drivers have always been an issue with AMD, but the performance trade off is worth it. The 3060 I used had driver issues too but I found the fix for both the Nvidia and AMD cards. Under volt them if you're over clocking them first. This takes the issues quite a bit.
I actually just got one shipped to me for 148USD to replace my 1070TI, not that much of an upgrade but where i live i can actually sell the 1070TI for more…
i bougt it for 36000 rub in 2021 july (600 ish), it crashes sometimes, sometimes midgame, but overall is good and i'm not regreting that i chose it over 2060 super.
5700 xt is def not worth it man, when i bought it brand new it had so many issues with black screening, green screening and fans would make a scraping sound that i had to send it back and after a few months i had to send it back again becuase it was having the same issues. Then for around a year i had mild crashing up until november when the card couldnt even handle forza horizon 5 and would frequently freeze while playing minecraft, i sold it (during the period when gpu's were overpriced) and got myself a 3060 ti which ever since has never had any issues at all and has been running beautifully
We have PC builds IN STOCK today at zttbuilds.com 😉
Or got for a 1080ti, pretty cheap and i found abt 5 for under 200
Why is an rtx 3070ti with i5 1400 dollars that you sell when i could build an rtx 4070ti for half the price 😂

I bought mine when they came out, did consider selling it back when people were asking crazy prices but I would have had nothing to swap it out for. I am just now going to a RTX 4070 and giving my son the 5700 XT. Great thing about having kids is they get all the best hand me downs ^_^
Gtx-1080 over that but barely! 1080 is slightly better than 5700.
Damn that’s nothing I got a whole Nintendo 64 for $130 it’s 64bit and got the best graphics of all time 💪💪💪
I just got a rtx 3070 msi trio on Facebook marketplace for $150 it works perfectly and even has the original box and wrap it came in the guy upgraded and didn’t want it anymore and it looked brand new still
I’ve used the 5700xt for about 2 years now it was good at first giving me 300+ frames in certain games.. now i get frame drops on a 240hz monitor capping at 180fps its great but definitely upgrading
got one for 125 last night, they run hot as balls though and the fans on my gigabyte are dummy loud. minimal coil whine though
Still rocking this gpu and its a beast
Had one of these for like 2 years now and it performs flawlessly! Might wanna upgrade to a 6000 card when the prices go down, but even today, i got nothing to say about it! :)
I bought a red devil 5700 xt for $180 10 months ago. But i feel now the budget King is the 6700 xt. Especially for how demanding new AAA titles have become. I hate the new upscaling crap. I want to run my games native. Its getting ridiculous. Its giving game developers a pass to be lazy and not optimize their titles.
I'm super happy with my 5700xt. Getting great fps in AC6, though it's hard to tell with the tears of rage.
The new budget king is the a750 selling new for 190-200 dollars
I just got one for $18.30 on fb marketplace, it came with 8 other pieces of hardware and I got the bundle for $165
I used to rock one until I got a 6700XT. The 5700XT was perfect for 1440p at 144hz medium-high settings.
I bought it in 2019 rocks solid
in most triple a games u get 60fps 1440p ultra settings
and for the new games u get 60fps ultra 1080p and 60fps high on 1440p
I legit love this GPU. Bought used PC and it was paired with Ryzen 7 2700. 5700XT is amazing
Ive had a 2700x and 5700xt since 2019 and its been flawless
I just snagged one off of Jawa for $140 so I’m pretty happy
Got it refurbished a few months back. Definitely overpaid with it being $400. I just didn’t know anything about graphics cards at the time.
Mine is around $150, for the exact IDR 1.800.000
I mean, is good but it uses more power, soo... the money you refuse to pay for a better graphics card you gonna pay it in electricity. But is a good choice if you don't have enought money. But not the best one.
I'm rocking the gt 1030 rn, but I have an Rx 580 on the way
But if u think ab it. It then requires a stronger psu which is more overall money in my opinion the rx6600 gets by with a 450w as it’s been working for me for about a year now I paid 160 for my gpu+psu and that being said the 5700xt gets you at 160 for just the gpu
Try 6600, I got it like 120 usd, more powerful than 5700xt yet consume less power, more if you undervolt it.
No mesh shaders, no ray tracing. Sure it performs but its days are numbered while those other cards will have much longer lives.
3060, 6600 xt, 5700 xt, 6650 xt, 3060 ti, all great midrange cards that keep jumping and dropping in value, you'll be between those
It was a the budget winner 4 years ago. It was basically a 370€ 2070Super ...the only bad thing about it is the 8GB VRAM
Nah bro, Gtx 1650 is the budget graphics card that you should get.
Yep bought one for 140 few weeks ago. Very satisfied.
5700xt at used market at german 390€ .... a rx6650xt/rx6700xt is cheaper ..
got one for 120€ on kleinanzeigen. just gotta look closely
yeah lol. the majority of 5700/5700xt's were heavily mined on cause they were beasts on Ethereum.
In india, you can find this at used market for 120 dollars
It has the same inpact as a 980/RX580 when it comes to reliability
I just cant get myself to go for amd in any segment anytime soon atleast until i get good rtx support on it plus i just trust intel and nvidia much more in terms of reliability .
Why did people avoid the RX 5700XT? Because they had major defects when initially released, and no one knows if they were fixed sufficiently.
With some bargaining I was able to snag one for $100 dollars; such an amazing card!
the power comsumption of rx 5700xt and rx 6600xt is huge
I have it and i always have driver isues and it crashes, no amount of fixing or updateing ever fixed it completely
I actually just got one shipped to me for 148USD to replace my 1070TI, not that much of an upgrade but where i live i can actually sell the 1070TI for more…
i have one now with a ryzen 7 3700x i get 100+ fps on everything with medium to high setting at 1440p
5700xt is noice
We have been using 3 of them for years now and will carry on with them until ddr6. Cheers to skipping am5
i bougt it for 36000 rub in 2021 july (600 ish), it crashes sometimes, sometimes midgame, but overall is good and i'm not regreting that i chose it over 2060 super.
I got it for 50$ and its amazing no issues and its best 🔥
The only problem is temps are above 80 and junction near 102
5700 xt is def not worth it man, when i bought it brand new it had so many issues with black screening, green screening and fans would make a scraping sound that i had to send it back and after a few months i had to send it back again becuase it was having the same issues. Then for around a year i had mild crashing up until november when the card couldnt even handle forza horizon 5 and would frequently freeze while playing minecraft, i sold it (during the period when gpu's were overpriced) and got myself a 3060 ti which ever since has never had any issues at all and has been running beautifully
got mine when it came out for 499 still using it red devil 5700xt
The card is solid performance-wise, but you have more chances of finding a faulty batch. I had one brand new and I couldn’t game normally for 3 years.
thanks this video helps me a lot I was going to buy 6600xt but now i can buy this with best money value
Built my dad a pc with R5 3600 and 6600 and he loves playing minecraft and god of war lmao he is an OG
