Carter 3 was 7th grade, was the only CD my sisters owned it was burned from limewire-windows media, 10 miles to school every single morning. We’d sit in the car until the album finished then go to breakfast. Fam....I listen to these shits now and just tear up sometimes. Really shaped the way I listen to music today. Glad y’all did this. I love both so much but I gotta say graduation. Literally every song (except drunk and hot girls) is INCREDIBLE. Not great... but incredible! Most of the songs on carter 3 are great w 4 or so that are incredible
Lil Wayne had a greater appeal on millennial hip-hop fans and probably more loved by the urban community than Kanye album at this time to me and helped bring a new wave to modern hip-hop. He also solidified his place as a rap legend with this album. His lyricism is some of the best we’ve ever seen and is definitely the King Of Punchlines in my opinion,but once again Kanye had the more ground breaking production and still the undefeated king of samples. Overall both albums get a 10/10 from me in quality and impact.

Known Hustla I personally love TPAB. It’s my favorite album of his. The instrumentation and substance in it just made me fall in love with it. The subject matter that it spoke about for its time also is a lot more relevant and important. In my opinion, at least. It’s just epic and poetic. Section.80 is probably my least favorite of all of his bodies of work, but that’s just me.

Lil Wayne had a greater appeal on millennial hip-hop fans and probably more loved by the urban community than Kanye album at this time to me and helped bring a new wave to modern hip-hop. He also solidified his place as a rap legend with this album. His lyricism is some of the best we’ve ever seen and is definitely the King Of Punchlines in my opinion,but once again Kanye had the more ground breaking production and still the undefeated king of samples. Overall both albums get a 10/10 from me in quality and impact.
I think Kanye got much more love than Wayne did from the casual fan and still does.

Known Hustla idk man MBDTF is one of Kanye’s masterpieces. Section.80 is a great album and all, but compared to MBDTF it just doesn’t touch it. It’d be more fair comparing masterpiece to masterpiece. But that’s just my view.

Known Hustla I personally love TPAB. It’s my favorite album of his. The instrumentation and substance in it just made me fall in love with it. The subject matter that it spoke about for its time also is a lot more relevant and important. In my opinion, at least. It’s just epic and poetic. Section.80 is probably my least favorite of all of his bodies of work, but that’s just me.
