This movie had a lot of good human moments. My favorite was Miles’ mom’s speech because my mother is the same way. This movie was amazing on so many levels.
And I liked how his mom claimed him up in the water tower. That was a cute scene.

I'm almost 100% certain that Beyond the Spider-Verse is going to start with Miles G. Morales's origin story in the first 10 minutes and will lead to the scene at the end of Across the Spider-Verse. Maybe that's why the deleted scene with Prowler Miles was cut so that it (or a variation of it) could be in the third movie.

I just watched the movie. Man, I never felt so blue balled in my life. I had no idea it was gonna end on a cliffhanger. Gwen brought back the old gang with some new additions ready to fight, Spot looked crazy strong, and then earth-42 Miles is the Prowler. It was getting so hyped and then it said to be continued. I didn't expect that because it was a movie.

@Will_Rules Not at all. It was a stand-alone movie. I loved this one but really hated how they ended it. Should have states part 1. The only movies I have seen that cut mid story are part 1 part 2 style.

Such a shame they deleted this scene it would've added so much to spot's characters, I really hope they find a way to re- implement it in beyond the spiderverse.
Imagine they open the movie with Spot being laugh at, at the bar, and narration. Then we get the flash forward to after he gets his power up and begins to kick everyone's ass at the bar.

Honestly my favorite part of Across the Spider-verse was the attention to detail that the animators and artists had. To name an example for instance: When Gwen returned to her room and you could see the colors running down the wall around her. They didn't have to do that but it's cool that they did and makes the world itself feel alive too in order to reflect her emotions. I always nerd out over animation stuff like that in movies and this one had too much to name in one comment xD Things like that was my favorite part though.
I could watch the full movie in super slow motion just for all the different animation styles and techniques through the movie! They did an AMAZING job on all the animation! I really liked how they animated when Miles kinda saw the future of Spot and his father dying, that part really stood out when I saw it.

And Hobie. He was animated in 4s, but his guitar was animated in 3s and his suit was animated in 5s, from what I recall hearing from another video. Like he's at war with the very nature of himself. He don't believe in consistency, innit, bruv?
Very heavy water color style for Gwen. And collage for Spider-Punk! They just went (Spider-)Ham with all the different styles. Growing up an art major and seeing animators and visual art being displayed in all it’s various forms. This made me happy as an artist. Shoutout to the team at Sony Animations.
We waited 5 years for a sequel so I really don’t care if Beyond the Spider-Verse is delayed for a while. They should take as much time as they need to make it as excellent as the first 2.
I am so torn on this. One the one hand I am with everyone about them taking as much time as they need to make the third film perfect. On the other hand however, I am not sure my heart and soul can survive another 5 year wait to see this story continue.
Kind of a big easter egg but it was such a treat seeing Donald Glover live action in this, lots of layers to it with him being in the MCU and the inspiration for Miles himself!

Being able to see the Miles Morales That was supposed to be bitten by the spider was much more meaningful than the other post credit scene
Yeah the ending wouldn’t be near as good without him. I guessed it after he jumps down after Aaron goes “I’m not”. If we didn’t see this part it would really not maw the ending as memorable. It really made the whole ending 10/10 for me. Id take this scene over the post credit scene any day.
He was never supposed to be bitten either though. The Peter of that universe was… Miles was an accident. No spider Miles was ever supposed to exist… but Peter from earth 42 was supposed to stop the crime… his captain (captain Stacey… probably the previous captain) would’ve died since that would’ve been the one that Peter was close to. Mile’s may or may not have been the prowler though.
@@valentinfranco6396 Wrong. You see in the flashback with spot that he took that spider when it was going to bite 42 Miles. You can see 42 Miles in the background when the Spider is first taken to their world. 42 Miles was supposed to be Spider-man not our Miles.
@@valentinfranco6396 Yes he was. In the spots flashback you can see the spider coming towards earth 42 Miles but than gets sent to earth 1610, where our Miles lives.
“Can’t have your cate and eat it too” “Unless you bake two cakes” feels like “Can’t be Spider-Man and have your dad” “Unless you have two Spidermen” or “Unless you have two Miles”
Having Glover in the movie as the live action Prowler was a nice tie in for the live action Miles that was mentioned in Spider Man Homecoming
My favorite easter eggs in the movie were the live action parts. I mean, we got to see the live action Prowler, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and there was even a reference to No Way Home in the movie. I also liked that they included a Lego version of Spider-Man. The Lego videogames were my childhood.
Can't wait for beyond the spider verse. Love the ending for across the spider verse.
The fight between Prowler Miles and Spider Miles could go the other way around. What happens if they don't fight in the beginning, since neither are "bad guys", decide to work together, but the vigilante attitude of Miles G leads to a a moral disagreement with Miles about how to handle a certain situation and that leads to a fight between them.
I think it will start with our Miles about to just wham Miles G's butt but then, Miles G would probably just pull our Miles to hug him or something
It's definitely gonna start off with a fight between them but than they will realise they are on the same side.

I loved the earth 42 prowler scene. One of my brothers guessed that miles was on the wrong earth but I didn’t.
I caught it on my first theatrical viewing. It was on the monitor after Miles had the Go Home Machine scan him.

I kind of wish that they did keep the post credit scene. I was disappointed that there wasn't one. It would have been nice to see more of a teaser for the next movie. It also would have been fun to see the Spot interact with other super villains.
I watched this for the first time today, been waiting for it to hit streaming, and it is SOOOOO GOOD!!! I did a really good job avoiding any spoilers this whole time and I went in pretty much blind aside from anything that was in trailers. I really REALLY enjoyed it! Watched it first thing this morning when I woke up and I’m about to watch it again here shortly before bed lol.
I did know it was basically a part 1 that left on a big cliffhanger but DAMN that was a cliffhanger! Cant wait for part 2! Thankfully we got Spider Man 2 for PS5 coming here soon to hold me over for a while!

My fave scene is when Gwen and her dad have a heart to heart and he said he just quit a few minutes ago. It was a sweet moment where he actually heard her.
I like the Easter egg where the lady from Venom showed up in the movie, although it would've been cool if the symbiote tried to eat Spot. :)

My favorite Easter egg is the different variants of Spider-Man being split when it comes to choosing between Spider-Man2099 or Miles Side when it comes to their multiverse decisions. It’s cool to think of different Spider-Men battling each other

While it’s a shame we didn’t get that post credit scene with spot on the other hand though there really wasn’t any thing that could top the original post credit scene with Spider-Man 2099 from into the spiderverse which I was personally fine with it.

I have a Theory: People are saying that someone will Probably die in Beyond the SpiderVerse, and some are saying it will be Gwen. I really don't think It's gonna be her, since she litteraly says that in every Universe out there, Spidey gets with Gwen and in every single Universe it doesn't work. If she really died, it wouldn't leave such an impact in the Audience since that's litteraly what happens in every Universe, what we already saw Thousands of Times in the Comics and in the Movie Theaters with Andrew Garfield.
No, no. I don't think Gwen will die, but I'm 90% Sure Peter B. Parker will. He was the Mentor of Miles during the Trilogy, and him dying would be Stunning to us. The only thing that makes me be unsure about it is that he has a daughter now, and I think it would be way too sad to see her crying, after loosing her Dad.
Maybe SpiderWoman will die, I think that would be cool since we would see an Emotional Scene with (maybe?) her sacrificing herself to save Gwen and telling her Goodbye. But still the same "Problem": she's Pregnant. I honestly couldn't care less about her (Idk didn't found her Character interesting, sorry) and I actually care more about James Charles than her son/daughter, but I can see Sony being unsure about making a Pregnant Woman die, even if I would like to hear SpiderWoman saying (while dying): "Poor little one (aka Her Son/Daughter), didn't even have a chance to live. Maybe he'll get a Second Chance" and then Dies. That would be amazing to hear in the Movie Theaters.

I've seen a lot of good easter eggs in the movie but one of my favorites that I haven't seen many talk about, Is miles endorsing baby powder and using it. This shows miles following what Peter b Parker said in the first movie, telling him to use baby powder well they were in the restaurant.
I would love to win so I can watch across the spiderverse without having to go to the theater.

Honestly I think the paper mache volture was my favorite Easter egg
I mean, I realized Miles G. was a vigilante almost instantly, when I thought back to the graffiti he made for his father. Our Miles did the same for Aaron in the same spot in the same style and colors, so it was clear both guys are wired in the same way. I'm guessing Aaron was just as shook as Miles over Jeff's death and that made him drop his criminal ways and the two set off for vigilantism in honor of Jeff's ideals. It wouldn't make sense for Miles to become a villain knowing how much he cherished his dad. My bet is that Miles G. was so menacing just because he doesn't trust this doppelganger yet, is all.
I heard they split the movie into two parts when they realized the story becomes too voluminous for just one movie. Which explains both 5 years of development and only one year before next part drops. They probably didn't cut the Prowler training scene per se, it was done to split the show with a neat cliffhanger and suspense. We'll likely see the scene in the next movie.
My sister told me i never noticed but in the first of these movies when mikes encounters peter and finds out they're both spiderman the sixth sense is purple and green for miles and turns to red and blue like Spider-Man showing miles really was an "accident" (that's my favorite easter egg)

The movie was only recently turned into a two-parter That's why the movie doesn't have much of an ending, It was originally supposed to be just a sequel but the plot of the movie got so big they decided to divide the movie in two, So that Prowler Miles scene is still happening it just changed it's placement, It's going to appear in Beyond The Spider-Verse

i have a really crazy theory.....if miles can both be spiderman & prowler,i think there is another spiderman who is prowler..i read about miguel,i know i know,he is from future,when his dna is partly spider bla bla....but damn....everytime i sees him in action,he remind me of prowler,just think about it,he cant use web sling,so he use a "rope" with higher tech than miles prowler,he use claw,he do every punch and every kick with so much power,he is so cold,yes there is spiderman without the bite,but they didnt act like miguel,they dont surender & push someone else to their ego like miguel did,yeah this theory sound funny,that is what i think,we never know what happen before the spider society,may be miles vs miles is like miguel vs miguel in the past

When miles was spray painting the prowler his jacket was purple the same jacket he wears at the end of the movie
Don't expect Spider-man: Beyond the Spider-verse to have a happy ending. Being Spiderman is a sacrifice. Expect SpiderGwen or Captain Morales to be lost, like Uncle Ben. Miles G. Morales might be the one to go, like Uncle Aaron.
I think Miles' whole character is about 'doing his own thing' and not following the same line of events that the other spider people go through.I mean it was the plot of the film after all. My prediction is that Miles, his parents and Gwen all survive but any of the team Gwen put together at the end of ATSV could die and prowler Miles will turn out to be a good guy / anti hero but then die.

Another thing I learned from a different comment- Miguel has a screen where u can see spot in the bar with no name. Which means that scene could still happen in the next movie.. or it could just be a remnant of the scene, but it could mean that that scene still happened just we didn’t see it
