As a Chinese person who plays Chinese brawl stars all day, Tencent literally ruins all the fun because literally everything is p2w, and IT’S A WHOLE FCKING SEASON BEHIND NON CHINESE BRAWL STARS. Duo showdown is completely unplayable below 500 if you don’t have a teammate because 99% people there are mastery farmers. However there are a few f2p friendly events including giving out free skins like popcorn Rico, serenade poco, and the pink dragon primo skin (I have no idea what it’s called in English), but overall Chinese brawl stars is just so much worse than normal brawl stars.
I used to play international brawl stars, and I can say that the 800 to 850 trophy range in Chinese brawl stars is equivalent to 1000+ international brawl stars cuz the Chinese players are SO SWEATY

All of the universal Chinese game laws would be bad enough, but low quality and clunky skins that probably actually look awful in gameplay along with not only bringing back the old outdated gacha system with the new flawed one and a newer, rushed gacha makes me feel reassured that things really could be worse for us right now.
