Here’s my story on why I’m here (I know you’re all dying to know...)
I work in a warehouse type setting, and we have neighbors on both sides, with fairly thin walls. Just 20 minutes ago my neighbor to the left was playing this song really loud, and I instantly loved and recognized it. Didn’t know who sang it, so I spend the last 19 minutes searching Google, and BOOM! I found them! I’m so pumped. This cover is absolutely perfect. Well done, lads. Takes some serious courage to cover a Fleetwood Mac song, I would think. But this is gorgeous stuff. Congrats!

Are we listening to the same thing? This isn't anywhere close to sounding like the original. It's missing that fat bass line, the groove on the drums, and the Fender Rhodes that was anchoring the track.
They are saying it’s so different that it sounds like an original song - not like THE original song .....

I only recently discovered these gentlemen and yet every video tied to Blacktop Mojo is genuinely good. It's real. Solid. Tastefully done. They have a Lynyrd Skynyrd style soul to them. I'd love to hang out and jam with these guys around a fire some time. Just kicken out some cover jams accoustic style. Keep it up fellas.
Sorry, but I grew up to lynyrd skynyrd, and they don't sound a thing like them.

I'm glad you commented. Thank you. That means you watched and hopefully liked this band. However, there was a misinterpretation of my comment. I never said they sounded like Skynyrd. They do not. That is true. My comment said they have a "Skynyrd style soul". Not "sound". Meaning.. The same spirit that gave Skynyrd the inspiration to write a song like Simple Man or Tuesday's Gone is, in my opinion, inspiring these gentlemen. Not so much referring to the sound. But the over all attitude of the band. The lyrical content. The proud southern roots. And the family like love they exhibit twords each other as a band. That's what I meant by that comment.
