Deer Creek is a Midwest Mecca for Dead shows and this one hit the mark with every song. Roses, which was last played 7/1/22, was a beautiful prelude to what immediately followed - a mind blowing Big River that transitioned into a Big River melody played over the lyrics to Dark Star (Part 2). That's what happened. Dead & Co. is creativitly reinventing everything right now with each show and taking this music to wonderfully new levels.
