Glad to see you switching it up a little from the dream and Cheesman. Seems like you had some great fishing at a popular spot. I was surprised to see you looked to be mostly alone out there. Thanks for the great video!
I found your channel recently and I'm enjoying your videos. I like that there isn't a lot of blabbing and more fishing. Hopefully you don't have the same problem with posting videos in your favorite spots as we do. The people show up and pretty soon your elbow to elbow. I won't even say what state I'm from.
Well, thank you for watching. I do appreciate it. Although a lot of my videos are shot on very popular and well known bodies of water, I haven't seen an influx of anglers after posting videos. I will say, I have gotten away from stating where I am fishing in my more recent videos and plan to continue this practice. And for some of the less known places that I frequent, that don't hold nearly as much public access, I don't post any videos. I am a believer that the more people get into the sport the more people will care about the type conservation we promote. With numbers, our voice is amplified and the more the managers of these public lands will listen to the concerns of anglers. (i.e. minimum flow requirements from dams, state water right issues, more public fishing access, less stocking and more catch and release standards.) Thanks again for watching and maybe our paths will cross on the river one day. -Tim
1:54, I thought I was the only guy who constantly looks for assassins. Glad to know I'm not alone!
Glad to see that river fishing well, good stuff as always!
Thanks, Dustin. Yeah every once and a while I get lucky on that stretch. -Tim

Thanks, Christopher. Yeah, we had the place to ourselves for the most part. Every once and a while the timing is right. -Tim

Funny how the better you are the luckier you get...
The old stomping ground was on fire Saturday.
I’ve been seeing some impressive pics from you lately. Far more impressive than what I’ve been catching.
Love it! Still need to get wet together soon bro.
Yes, sir. It's been way too long.
HA! Searching for hot spot assassins.
And I don’t even mention the names of the rivers anymore.
@@CombatFlyFishing Please don't.
@@CombatFlyFishing you won't even tell the names of the fish no more!!
Is that silverthorne?
I really enjoy your channel! I am coming to the canyon in Sept and I was curious what size rod you use?
Thanks Mike. I appreciate you. In this video I’m using an 8 1/2’ 5wt, but I also fish a 9’ 4wt regularly. -Tim
Nice catches! do you think more were put in there recently?
Probably. Most of the fish we caught were probably brood stock straight from the raceway. -Tim
Are you in Colorado?
Saw the egg, what insect flies were working?
Dustin, Black Beauty Emerger size 22 and a size 20 flashback P-tail caught nearly all the fish. -Tim
@@CombatFlyFishing much appreciated. I struggle to hook up on that stretch.
@@dustinh6563 same. I do so well in other spots but man, that river has my number.
What river is this?
