I’ve come to the conclusion that you are a fishing expert! I’d tried with son some years back and our success rate was very poor! lol! Definitely enjoy it and should pick it up again. Thanks for sharing, hoping your knowledge and success rub off on me! 😉

Thanks Mark that’s very nice of you to say so….I’ve done fly fishing since I was about 12 yrs old ….with greater or lesser success 😂…. Fly fishing these local rivers is tricky and frankly you have to put some time in on the water to find where the fish might be holding … I went down to the Arkansas river in Colorado the other week (a 4 hr drive for me ) although it’s arguably a better river than my local ones not knowing the water and the local flies I only managed one bite. Although talking to a local on the bank that day he did say it had fished quite hard and he’d only had two fish the whole day. So although it was an awesome spot in the Royal Gorge I didn’t do a video … no one wants to see me flogging away fishless 😂. If you ever go bass fishing try the ‘Whacky Worm Method’ (no really it’s a thing 😂) easy to do, minimum tackle and super effective on nearly all lakes in the Midwest … even casting from the bank!! 👍👍 thanks for watching … ATB Dave Mc

Did you fish the river? It was a lovely day for last day of february thats for sure .... Hopefully we can get a few more of thos and the river will defrost a bit more so those upper sections are accessible and i can get into a few of those buttery browns ... 😁Ive been out a couple of times already even down on the Arkansas River but unfortunately blanked both times so no video... this time at least the bite was on 👍👍 we'll have to see if we can coordinate our schedules and get out there... atb Dave Mc

@@everyoneknowsadave3580 Havent ever fished it myself, i dont own any fishing gear so never been a huge fisher myself but would be more than down to learn. It would be nice to coordinate a night out on the poudre, always more fun with someone around.
