    You could have stayed at Disney longer and enjoyed the parks more if you had stayed at a cheaper resort. I'll never understand paying so much for a room you're just bathing and sleeping in.

      Not that much of a difference given that only two of them had to pay for tickets. I was just in Orlando for Spring break and even at our usual "cheap" place, it cost us a lot more than the usual. There's nothing cheap in Orlando anymore. Unless, of course, you stay at the likes of Seralago, which I'd pass.

    6 years ago I was able to take my Daughter as a surprise for her 6th birthday and it was on a very limited budget. I drove from Oklahoma (Gas cost was 150 to get down there and drive around and coming back it was 120.) to Florida. We stayed at an Airbnb close to the park for Two days (140.) I managed to get us one day passes to One Park (275) for both of us. We brought a Stroller and had Food and Drinks inside it.(25) I did get "Fast Passes" but didn't know I needed to book the rides ahead of time and Cast Members just let us use them on any rides or attractions we wanted due to some rides being shut down.(65) I was able to buy her a small souvenir at the Park(30) and we found a bunch more at the Goodwill down the street for super cheap!(Micky Ears, Pins, Shirt's and Plushies. 22) When we got home our grand total was $865.00. for just the Disney side of the trip for one day.
    Mind you that's when gas was still closer to 2.00 a gallon and Disney hadn't raised their prices yet. If we were ever to go now (Which is financially impossible) it would cost closer to $2300.00. I'm thankful I took her when I did as a Single Mom I did the best I could and she always reminds me of it.

Bought tickets to all 4 parks for 4 days, We rented a real nice car for 6 days. Spent $40 in gas in total! Its also very smart to grocery shop! We did 3Xs and took all our super healthy food back to our hotel, bought lots of water, fruits, veggies, salads, plant milks, and other healthy snacks) I also bought 3 super cute extra Disney shirts and other clothes for everyone else.
    We also enjoyed good food and drinks at the park, we bought our kids several Disney toys at the gift shops. We dined out for dinner for 6 nights straight. We even went to a beautiful beach in Tampa for a whole day! And only spent $5600 in total! Not bad at all! We’ll be going back for sure!❤

    Like $1900 dollars a person. $500 more and you could go abroad to japan or thailand for like 2 weeks. Disney just isn't worth the price anymore, and the business analytics agree with that people are going less or not at all.

    People say Genie isn't worth it, but i totally disagree. For $380 including ILL's you more than likely double the rides you would have without it and waited a lot less for only a small portion of the overall trip value and in my opinion, that's probably the investment in the trip that's the most fun!

    • @kimbrolyy
      @kimbrolyy 4 месяца назад

      Depends on when you go. And if you watch the waiting times in the app. I was able to do Big Thunder Mountain with a 25 min wait time because it was temporarily closed before. The rest of the day it was 70-80 min wait time. Even the most popular rides will sometimes go down during for example lunch and dinner time. With some planning and flexibility you can save a lot of waiting

Went to Disney springs first day (only bought food), Epcot second day, animal kingdom. Disney bus to us to the cruise port and we sailed to the Bahamas for a 3 night cruise then bus to us to airport and we flew back on a one-stop southwest flight. Our cruise alone was about $3600.

    So that's roughly 2,000 per person. Last time I went to Disney World, it cost me a family of 3 $3,700.00 for 10 days flew from the West Coast. My airline ticket was $300.00 round trip on American Airlines. I got a deal at the grocery store. Buy 150.00 worth of food, get a round trip ticket for 300.00 to go anywhere in the US. Stayed at the Sports and Music resort. That's insanely overpriced compared to when I went.

    Not surprising just not very interesting. It’s just a theme park (although the hotels are sweet). In some ways there is a lot of entertainment for $150 a day. Else it also is very sterile, corporate.
    Just toured Savannah, Columbia, Macon, and Charleston with a family of four.
    The venues were more varied and not as polished as Disney but it was new and the opportunities to find something inspiring were more likely. We spent about $400 a day on entertainment so a little cheaper than Disney.
