Teacher to student ratio is improper. Even the best college of IIT Bombay is ranked 177th in the world on QS ranking (2021) due to lack of research and development and many other reasons.
I want the teachers to have a periodic check regarding their teaching methods, some teachers start off strong and then later their enthusiasm dies down, that should not happen.
Two things should be added, education and system. Students should learn to really get knowledge and not marks plsss. All colleges should have equal value and same courses and also, education should be of same level everywhere with a very nominal fees.
more focus on 1) research 2)development 3) teach us to live independent 4)more study about business rather than history ( in dapth ) 4) work on its passion 6) focus on development (skills ) rather than degree's like if you agree 👌👌👍👍👍👍
🙄🙄 The way we take Education it is mainly focused On Mugging up.. No school or colleges in india tells you how to utilise those information and create something out of it ( Few Schools and Colleges are exceptions) Its not just education system, its also the Mindset of alot of people.. Parents students teachers, society as a whole encourages only for marks.. 1 or 10 Success stories doesn't make system Great..People learn better by doing than reading books
Everyone- Good Buildings, Better Facilities, Less Learning But No One talks About The Basics Of Education which is Syllabus Which IN real Life Don't Even Needed(Very Few are Imp).
Remembrance is important along with understanding. In your childhood it is best to remember, and as we grow up, understanding the remembered things will make it easier. But what we get is only remembered facts and figures, but no understanding behind it. That is one of the core issues of the system. Instead of saying that remembering things is bullshit, it should be so that remembrance and understand go hand-in-hand.
Today was my 9th class report day. I got 3rd rank yet my parents think I could perform better and didn't appreciated my marks. In india the biggest problem is they think marks decide our future. More marks = More intelligent (Edit: we are stuck in MATRIX. Escape 9-5 and enjoy your life)
I'm studying at an IIT and I can tell how this place truly reflects what our nation has become. It's supposed to be the innovation hub, a place where the student crowd is supposed to be the most insightful and thoughtful. Well, it's nothing but a lie. A very small percentage of people have any vision. People just run behind CGPA, Internships and Jobs. They try to act superior if they get placed at a higher package job and you are failing in your startups. Coding has become the next JEE here, you just need to mug up a 450 question sheet, get a job and forget your own innovative thoughts. Almost nobody cares about real learning, creativity or doing something for the world. Everyone just wants a higher package job. This IIT is literally the worst thing I could give to my Creativity.
100% agreement. Even my cousin says the same. She opted for aerospace on AIR 200 and she was laughed upon and asked why did she choose this stream. She could have easily opted for CSE and bagged packages in crores. Indian mentality needs to change, atleast for the country.
Not only in india bro... It's everywhere except some countries like finland, sweden and some other countries. Very few countries have a good school system. Those problems are everywhere, at least as bad as in india. I am an Indian born German citizen, 17 years old in 11th grade and here in Germany it's not that much better. Better than the indian school system, more freedom, but the main themes such as "memorizing education system" and useless knowlegde and training the students to become robots and puppets of the system and the teacher exist here as well. The syllabus and stuff we learn in school here is even more useless than in indian schools. Everyone, literally everyone here and across the world can point out the flaws in the system and everyone knows the root cause of people not being happy with the system. Yet still, the sad truth is, that the people who have the ideas to change the system and to revolutionize it in a positive way are not at the position to do so, whereas the people who are in the position and have the power to change the system, such as politicians etc, won't do that. Problems are obvious, solutions are there, but nobody cares.
@@ayoitsk24 Bro Let me ask you one question: What makes you think the education system is ACTUALLY good? Clearing IIT/JEE is all about practice. You go to coaching, do such questions day and night without having a life just to crack this one paper and those things won't even be needed in ur entire life after you pass the test. Any IITian who's already past uni and has a job won't be able to crack that paper anymore, it's all about practice it's not about having a big brain. I have friends who go to IIT, they itself claim it's not using brain it's just about doing those questions day and night and practicing. Trust me, I have cousins and other people in fam who made it to iit and I saw they're daily life routine. They aren't "highly intelligent" or genius IQ, they were not doing anything except studying for that fcking JEE advanced and it's proven by science that anyone can do anything if he gets the right amount of practice and enough coaching. Yes, there are big brains in IIT. But no, not all are high IQ gods as guys like you think. Basically everyone in india thinks that those tests resemble ur intelligence. My dad used to do nothing expect math equations and integration and so on and so on back in 11th and 12th. To this date, he has a very good job but he doesn't even remember basic rules of integration. So stop saying it's big brains who make it through, it's pure memorization and doing that one thing only nonstop, sacrificing mental health, sacrificing self development, sacrificing freedom and sacrificing socializing. Not thinking on their own and not trying to figure out their future path themselves but just being brainwashed by the system and parents that studying day and night with your heads down and listening to every shit that parents and teacher say is the way to live a happy life and after that settling for that shitty 9-5 job working for a comany and a boss u don't even care about and live an even more lonely and depressed life afterwards. Cool, you made it. Cool, you have a secured job and u earn much. At the end you still are the same persong who didn't do anything else that studying and focusing on what others tell u to do, not even think on ur own and now you're left with 0 life experience, 0 wisdom, the only wisdom you have is hOw tO cRaCk tHe eXaM and will give on that brainwashed culture of studying day and night fot iit jee cbse stuff to secure good future to your future children who will suffer the same materialistic life like you. Instead people who question the system and find a way on they're own and see what's best for them are far more happy in life. They try, they fail. They try again, they fail again. They make good relationships on the way, also bad once, make good supportive friends, also bad once, at the end they grow to a wise man. They find the way to pursue their passion and escape the 9-5 job matrix. Live a happy life, get financially independent at a younger age and not work till fking 70 (retirement age will be raised over the time), 40 hours a week which seem more like 60 if u include their job oriented daily routine and overtimes etc for a company that sucks and for a boss who sucks.
I am a 40 yr old parent and trying hard to protect my child from all the harm education system has done to me. THANK YOU soooooo much for bringing this video !!!!! GOD BLESS YOU.

I am an average student and really I get depressed many times😔 Sometimes I started crying silently without making any sound and can't say anything to anyone 😢😢 Then I had only one option left, that is to talk to shri krishn because no one will listen except him😢
Exam pressure is one thing but what is more hurtful is the fact that parents are not ready to listen. "In our times, even 60% was considered best marks and I scored 70% in 12th standard, while also feeding cattle and helping parents in Farming. Be glad we are only asking you to study." is what my father said when I actually tried to talk to him.
I am a NEET aspirant, currently in my 1st drop year. I lost my 3yrs for this worthless thing. I miss my old version. I was a friendly and talkative extrovert. I loved talking to people even if they were strangers in bus or train or long queue. But now i am a anxious all the time. I don't step out of my room. I cover my face whenever i go out. I have no one to talk. Just 3 rooms and my grandma in a city far from my home, sometimes it feels suffocating. I have a dream of cracking UPSC. Being from a small town, i know everything about lifestyle of rural India. It just needs help to grow. No infrastructure or fancy buildings, all it needs is a person who can provide villagers basic guidance in their occupations. And i want to be that person. I was good in my initial days of NEET prep, but slowly i started getting pressurized by my family and relatives. After lockdown, i shifted to this city, and situation just got worse. At one point, i felt like giving up on my life. The very next day i ran to my village. I wasn't able to trust myself. What if i kill myself? I started thinking about my aim and my parents. I decided leaving NEET after my 1st attempt, but again i got emotionally fooled by my parents (They love me, but they'll never understand my depression so i didn't tell them about this) and now studying for 2nd attempt. I am not sure if I'll crack it, but definitely I'll leave it this time if i fail. I know I'll get even more stressed during UPSC prep, but i love studying those subjects, I'll have a motivation unlike this MBBS which i never wanted to pursue. So yeah, this education system gave me stress, anxiety, depression, self doubt and constant fear of exams. I am still dealing with all these precious gifts and i wish one day I'll get back my originality.
Hello sakshi. Please believe in yourself and if you honestly think you'll be better by leaving something behind in life it's not quitting it's just realizing that your potential and capabilities are related to a different field which is upsc in your case. Khudme vishwaas karo and life is too short apna dhyaan rakho aur khush raho and always Remember a fish cannot be judged by its ability to climb a tree.😇
I am also a dropper and this is my second attempt...I want to do MBBS but this kind of tremendous pressure is taking away the will from me....what if I get a chance when I am not even barely alive ? I can no longer eat properly or sleep properly and I dont know what will happen with me!
As a teacher I always try to make maths interesting. I teach students to understand the concepts not to memorize formulae. As mentor I teach them not to top in class but to top in life and be practical. That's why my students feel that I am there friend... Actually I want to give them that type of education which I missed during my childhood...

@@grimsobad8545 well the definition of toppers and average students have definitely changed over time....who used to be toppers back in my day will now be considered average.....and those who were average l ..will be considered below average.....so it's a matter of perspective....which has changed....and which will change.....well FYI i was an above average student scoring in the 70's consistently.
I am an UG student, according to me only self- competition is the way to get rid of all mental issues. Forget your friends score, toppers ranks etc. Just try to satisfy with your score by analyzing your efforts and marks. If not getting it, be analyzer of yourself because exams never end.
Q: What changes do you wish to see in the Indian Education System? A: Dignity of labor, less pressure on students on scoring marks, by both teachers and parents, make a proper and realistic yearly plan to not rush and rat race for syllabus
Nd uniform too. Don't you think tht indian school uniforms r so uncomfortable especially for girls. Only high class schools have gender neutral uniform which r comfortable vrna most schools have salwar suits which r uncomfortable nd destroy confidence of girls too
It’s really sad that we are watching this video now, when we were kids we never had anyone showing fault in our education system. Our parents, teachers and all were just struck inside this loophole. Thanks to this channel, at least now we can change our children’s education system and give them what they need instead what we think they need.

This is extremely well put. Being a 12th class student I can relate and understand everything informed in this video. Practicality and realism gets thrown out of the window in this education system and the sad part is aware students are ridiculed for opposing it 🙂
If anyone can remember their pre primary education, learning is very inclusive and innovative, through poems and stories. But, once we step into secondary schooling, all of us run behind marks, later ranks, and then achievements. I think we should concentrate on the process rather than discussions about the final goal. It feels very intimidating.
today jee education starts in 6th though i got lucky with parents who did not presurise me cause i never focuses on study's , and they just gave up on me but last year in my death i gave up not trying and started studing and i am expecting my highest result . but from all i know premiary is not where you get time and passion , also if life was about doing what you love you end up jobless , cause job is not meant to be fun . if following dream is what you want you will quickly realise you going nowhere , for example someone might like bussiness deallings and talking but not like the part when they need to do sort finances , pay taxes ,extra . rarely anyone is payed to do what they love what you can do instead is pick a job that will give you a higher chance to escape the rat race earlier then others and then enjoy life , it is what i am doing right now
@@OverSleptDolls In our books some knowledge is printed that is useless and I am in 10th std and I am not understanding the knowledge is printed in my book is useful in my life or not 😢

As a student who just gave his 10 board exams a week ago, I can say that the amount of pressure is high but I had someone to talk to and that was my mother. I am really thankful to her and I just wish that everyone can have someone that they can share everything to.

As an engineering student of VTU (Visveswaraya Technological University) I can say negative points of our ENGINEERING education system . 1) More theoritical concepts 2) 85% of compulsory attendance policy 3) Huge Chunk of Assignments and Projects which are utter useless . 4) Exam pressure (There are some cases of suicides) 5) Less skills 6) No emphasis of overall developement of the student 7) Less practicals 8) Outdated syllabus ......... ......... etc . Only change in our education system can lead the country in the path of developement and prosperity .. My dear Politicians , please stop looting and focus on the developement of the nation . If you still continue to loot then your ancestors are really Britishers .
VTU is the worst university in the world. The syllabus of VTU is useless in this fast evolving world. I was a VTU student from ECE branch and graduated in 2020.

I am a teacher, in the profession for the last 22 years. What you said is very true. Fortunately, the current Principal of my school is aware of this and encourages creativity by teachers in the classroom and doesn't like to pressurize students. The main reason could she herself is a certified counsellor and wants the best from her students, not necessarily academics.
I'm glad to hear such schools exist.. I sometimes fear the education of kids at this point.. we had better education in our school days compared to now Now it's only a race, and believe it or not everyone including teachers love students who they think are attentive and brilliant
Hm sab school teacher aise he kahta h lekin ya sach nahi h. Woh bas aapna kaam kr rhe h unhe jitne salary milte h wahe utna he pdhate h chahiye bacho ko samajh ma aaye ya nahi aaye.
This video actually bought tears...it was so relatable, as well as tears of pride that India was once pioneer to such open kind of education. I wish we just stick to our culture and heritage as well as being open to the positive sides of other cultures. Loved this video, I hope it reaches the concerned person.❤
I failed all grades of 4th-8th all because nobody paid attention to me and my score was up only because the school wanted to save it's image. Luckily, my parents didn't offend me or hate me for it. They actually encouraged me to explore other things. I picked up Cooking and World Politics at 15. Because of the Lockdown it was more easier.
I was unable to crack NEET and it's my drop year. Till 10th I was good but I regret for choosing medical field as my career (no hate). I am good in art and painting and I've been constantly representing my school and winning the competitions. I recently held an art exhibition in my city which was a great success. Why I'm saying this is because even after all these achievements, my parents wants me to see as a doctor. Being a child of a middle class family and also the elder one, I think I have rigjt to just dream but not fulfill it. I really wish the gurukul system comes back. We are going away from our culture day by day. If we have gurukuls, there will be gurus instead of teachers, there will be Mahabharata and Ramayana instead of Aurangzeb, there will be more practical approach for the students to deal with world. I love to hear Satsang, it makes me more calmer and clearer with my opinions, in other words.. We also need such spiritual sessions (Satsang) in school as a function in place of annual function.. Thank you to Abhi bhaiya and Niyu Didi who takes such initiatives to talk on these topics. Jay shree ram 🙏

This video is emotional to every student... If I were from England, then I must have given Macaulay a salute for his move. Today, we as Indians are being taught in English and we see English speaking people as more worthy than a person who is speaking regional language. Our education system is dependent on the coaching institutes and online coachings. Our teachers from government schools should have only one task to educate, rather than having election duties or any other thing. Jai Hind
You are right. Most people feel if someone speaks English well, the person is very intelligent. That's not necessarily true. A person is fluent in a language doesn't mean s/he is good at everything else. Sadly, people judge others this way.
This is true. In schools teachers don't talk about other career opportunities rather than Engineering and Medical. Not even parents. This is the reason why students don't get the chance of exposure. I just hope one day just one day this education system changes drastically and it gets a new and meaningful form. India is the ocean of youths and a country will only change when the youth will change and explore other opportunities rather than getting into rat race so that India can develop overall. Thank you Abhi and Niyu for making such video. Keep cherishing❤
The Changes needed to be incorporated in the Indian education system are 1. Allround development of a child rather than focusing on theoretical learning 2. Student must be taught the correct fact 3. Taking a practical approach for scientific subjects 4. Intellectual Development of students must be done so that they can solve problems in their own ways and can understand their capabilities and interest 5. Teamwork should be encouraged to preach selflessness
The most important issue is the need of Group discussions of topic along with the teacher. (Interactive Learning) according to the old education policy we are thought to be silent in class not to talk. And just listen what the teacher says, regardless of weather you understood or not. With group discussions we all understand better and clear the concepts. This also brings interest of students in the discussion.

And there should be special exam for selection of teachers or at least government should provide special training programme to teachers on how to deal with students so that only people who are passionate about teaching can be teachers and not the people who have failed in their fields and doing teaching because they can't do any other thing, this will improve student teacher relation as most teachers teaching in schools just do it for money and don't care about students
Hello Abhi and Niyu, first of all let me appreciate your hardwork behind this. This is really good to see, and it definitely makes one to think for sure. I'm a postgraduate dentist. I did my graduation from Osmania government dental College, Hyderabad. Yes I'm doing well professionally now. But even today, the word of inter college (the popular most colleges in AP, u all might know) and hostel give me nightmares literally. I'm good at studies since my 6th class(I'm topper of our class) and so high expectations were around me to secure a MBBS seat that too in a government college. I used to take alot of stress those days, used to cry unnecessarily. I was in hostel, so can't share with my parents or someone else over a phonecall/outing time that we get to spend with them. I got 4000rank and couldn't secure a MBBS seat in 2006. So I signed up for long-term, this was an another level of hell. I managed to get 2000 rank but can't afford a private MBBS so settled for BDS in a government prestigious institution. And it's the best thing I got. But I still regret spending my most valuable years in grip of insecurity, fear and low self-esteem. I know many of our time students and even students of this age are really undergoing this trauma even today. I'm not against any college or education. But I think there should be some changes in the system. 1. Practical thinking, practical learning should be incorporated since pre-kg in schools 2. Parent teacher meetings should just not focus on talking about marks, but talk about how all-round development of kid is going on 3. Mind and body are correlated. So incorporating every child in physical activities and games and sports is essential for their long term physical and mental health (many of us didn't play a single game when we were in school and colleges). Not everyone can become a Dhoni or Sunil chettri, but their health will thank them in future. 4. As you were saying, an independent well trained counseler should be appointed in each school and college, who sees that the child is growing the best way he is supposed to both acamedically, physically and mentally. 5. Parents of children should keep comparison to minimum. I feel though parents are trying their best to support their kids, the society, the relatives, decide the milestone of each kid. Your child should be walking by 1, talking by 2, reading by 3, be a topper by 4, and get into IIT or IIM by 18. When many of us are struggling to decide what to cook for today, how can we decide the career of a small kid all by ourselves? That too fast forward to 15yrs from now?. 6. Marks are the ultimate deciding factor, I know. But teachers when appreciating the toppers when they bagged the first prize should also look at the kids who secured last ranks with same love and affection and without partiality. They are the ones who need you the most. While some teachers do this, many don't. 7. Exams are a part and parcel of an education system. But they shouldn't be the only deciding factors for deciding the bright future of little ones. All these are the points everyone know, I just said these, as I was in that situation, coped up in someway to write this today, but many of innocent teenagers are taking theirs lives without knowing how much life has to give them. I only want to be a better parent to my 4year old, and not stress him much and not let my past trauma have an affect on him. This Video was beyond words. You truly saved me from being a victim to education system. Hi. I am currently a 12th grader with competitive exams around the corner. I was pursuing to appear for Medical Entrances and realised that I have a vision to be changmaker rather than abiding by societal standards. Did Confess to my parents and they stopped talking...which lead to another trail of whirlwind thoughts over choosing career..hats off to you sir! Incredibly framed video.
Hey, I'm a dropped out student. It will be my 2nd attempt for medical entrance this year. Trust me when I say this... JUST LISTEN TO YOURSELF. Not even us, even the parents are trapped by Britishers. Parents will learn gradually and understand. Have patience and belief in yourself. Or else you'd regret like me. Now I'm in social pressure, my mum had already told everyone in my Village that I'm going to be a doctor. And now she says that you have to do it anyways.. I can't even deny...
My boards just finished and I have already made my mindset that even if I don't get expected results I will be happy because I have tried my best So guys don't quit just keep moving forward kyuki kisiko koi matlab nhi 💖
Please give students the freedom to choose their career... Education must be for learning new things... but education nowadays have become an instrument to get a job...
One important subject current education lacks is 'Relationship Management'. Relationship management is an important subject that can teach how to build and maintain healthy relationships. Skills like communication, conflict resolution, and empathy, which are useful in personal and professional life. It will help to improve mental health and well-being.
To all the students here, Don't STOP. Keep trying new things, and keep experiencing new things. Don't limit yourselves. Life is UNFAIR. You will face challenges and you will have to counter them. School is important not just because of the padhai but because you get to meet people and make new friends. You don't always have to decide up to 10th or 12th that what you have to do. Change yourselve according to the situations. Make small targets also and try to achieve them. Think about what kind of job or activity will give you a bit of satisfaction and find out how you can achieve them. Don't be fully satisfied. Always try to better yourselves. Appreciate others as well. Be kind. Life is full of surprises.
The people in school are garbage only like 2 to 3 students in a class have a brain and are fun to talk to everyone else just yells galliya(abusive wordss)
Thanks Abhi for speaking about this. I still remember appearing for class 10th board exams in the year 2017 was like a nightmare for me. I was very bad with Science and Maths. I ended up scoring 77% and after getting the scorecards my parents were like "sharm aarhi hume, tumne toh hume kahi muh dikhaane ke layak nhi chhora." My mother despite being a teacher herself said to me that she feels ashamed to attend my PTA meetings. I was compared with all my cousins. My parents used to tell my relatives " ye toh kuch nhi padhti". *Cut 2* Year 2023 living the life that I wanted. Working with some of the top brands and even doing better things than all my cousins with whom I used to get compared with. To all the students out there who are scared of their board results I just want to tell you guys just be very very very honest with what you do everything else will be taken care of. 😊
Hey thanks sister. I understand your emotion behind this. I feel as this generation will evolve , marks will not be given that much importance. And more focus would be made on Overall development of student.

bro I am a college student and I will say that student pressure and unhealthy competition are one part. But it is for the student to not realise how much of an opportunity he/she has right now. Unless that happens, we can't do anything, whether its counsellors or anything else. I've gone from this stage and blamed it on school, but if nothing is gonna happen, then we should just concentrate on well performing and not blame game.
True. Students Just keep on following what is taught in the school, Take unnecessary tuitions. And then blame Others . I agree Our system needs to be completely changed, But Suicide is not an option to escape this.
Finally someone spoke , there is an abundance of opportunities , it's just that students don't know and then start the blame game , system is fine , it's the people and parents who pressurise and shrink down the opportunities. I am a student myself , to grab an opportunity you should be prepared to take the opportunity, not blame the system because you don't know something.
That's the problem. Opportunities are there, but do school teaches us about that opportunities. Yes, students can use self help and later they can get these information. But what's school is there for? School and education system cannot be perfect, specially with this speed in technology development/growth. But it can be a lot better than what it is now.
@@ashwanijha7695 Yes , School management should change not the curriculum itself is what i am saying. All the "Indian Education System is bad" articles and videos always say only about changing the curriculum itself and don't touch upon the underlying problem.

Education skills? Our system is outdated. Mainly it is made to destroy and suck out any curiosity and creativity. It makes them fully obedient slaves. And the worst is its not Indian in anyway. A highly educated guy starts hating India, his skin colour everything about our country. This is what the Britisg built the system on and we never changed it. It will create a bunch of half baked Brits
Just now I gave my 10th board exam... Looking back it was the worst year of my life not because of academics but the harm caused to my mental state. I was bullied by my classmates when I used to share with the dean sir, the 10th in charge they used to just listen to my problems. One day I broke down in front of them and gave up to come to school. To convince me they gave me a fake promise of segregation which didn't last for more than 15-20 days because they asked us to self-study and sent no teacher to our class. My 10th class was ruined, out of 33 students only 2 students came to study rest all came for bullying teachers and other students, brought liquor, and wape. Neither principal would listen to me and my mom nor the school’s manager. I was in a serious depression for 1 month and during the whole year, I used to cry by keeping my head down. There was no one with me. So I stopped going to school for the last 2 months of boards and wrote a letter to the principal explaining my problem and she approved it. At last, when my exams got over principal called my brother into the cabin and said that I was a crazy girl who used to sit at last and cry the whole day, say negative things to teachers, and laugh with my friends. Wowoowowoowowoow they proved me crazy for my depression, I was on the verge of suicide as I was tired of a bully and it was traumatic state when I used to sit in class. These memories still haunt me and I cry when I remember those days with tears in helpless eye. I hate my class 10th
I wish u will be happy in ur future, u had fought a serious war with this traumatic situations.. you are a warrior dear, hope everything will be good in your life. Best wishes to you..

Education system should focus more on practical learning. Nowadays all companies asking for experience, but from where does one bring experience without getting a job. Its a loophole, job ke liye experience chaiye aur experience ke liye job.....
I gave my 10th boards in 2020 and secured 96.1%. Meri Hindi teacher humesha Unhi bachhon pe dhyaan deti thi jo ache the usually Unn bachhon pe jinko hum Teachers Pet bolte hain. I always used to get 50-60/80 in Hindi. And she used to make a mockery out of me as well. Ek baar Unn Sabhi students ko khada karke bola Ki you can score 99-100 marks easily in boards and Mujhe bola Tum 80% laado bahut badi baat hogi. Bahut chubhi Mujhe Voh baat. So meine kasam khaali thi I’ll score a massive 90% in Hindi. I ended up getting 99/100 in Hindi and that was the highest marks in Hindi subject in my school. Voh Students ka toh 85 se zyada bhi nahi aaya tha. And the credit for this goes to my dad. Voh personally school aake Unhone paper dekha mera and Told me about my flaws and made me work on it. My dad used to make me write Nibandhs, anuched like 10times a day. Mein Hindi ka paper kabhi time se khatam nahi kar paata tha but I became so good that Boards mein I completed it 30mins before the final submission. Meri teacher at least mera paper dekhke Flaws bata sakti thi but no she had to make fun of me in front of the whole class. No respect for such teachers
This is very relatable from my behalf too. I am an MBBS Student, well I had interest in Medicine and I am happy to choose MBBS as my carrier option. Now here the problem starts, contribution to my cognitive skills from Class 1-10 by our Education System is close to 0%. I do had some great teachers but it has nothing to do with education system, rather I would say they are the ones who have realised in their life about the dark side of our educaton system. So I would say whatever I have Studied from class 1-10 was completely a waste of time, so anybody reading this if you are a school going student, don't worry about scoring well in exams, enjoy your childhood, play sports, do learn to read and write, invest more time in reading novels and comics rather than your syllabus you will be more resourceful with ideas in later part of your life. Even if you are a parent, please help your child because the situation a child will be in few years from now will have much to do with their upbringing. So parents, please first learn yourself what really education means and help your child as a guide, don't expect from Indian Education system. Thank you.

yes really i hate my past 10 yrs of school life though i have passesd 10th and just streching to complete my 2 more yrs of this frustrating school life man this sucks
At least in north india there is some time for physical activities and other personal things but in Andhra Pradesh most of the schools and junior colleges make students stay there for 12 hours a day with no play hours and no communication skills. Every student is not treated the same way here. The campus itself looks like an IT building but its just a normal school here. They brainwash students saying that their life is nothing if they don't pass JEE or NEET. Most of the schools here make students study JEE syllabus from 6th grade. I am a victim of this. Education system in AP needs to be fixed ASAP.
We should take this to the education minister...how much board exams have impacted children life this time by increasing the difficulty level..what will happen with those who are weak and average ..
I was always a failure during my school days..always trying to remember things. But after 10th I self realized that my pace is different and all I have to do is go with my own capacity. In 12th I got 89% which might me low for others for me this is the highest percentage which I ever got. And the best part was that I loved all of the subjects and wrote it in my way.
As a student I appreciate your views but many students come from lower middle class Their parents dont have much money to invest on them So in order to improve the condition of their parents they are taking the pressure BTW same condition here also
What you said in first part of the video i can totally relate.. I am an adult 27 years of age but i still get nightmares about high school life and exams (8-10). It is not about bullying but studying pressure and exams, teachers being rude etc.. thankyou for this video.
During my schooling i knew about few career options like doctor, teacher, engineer, army employee in bank and railways other govt jobs but never told about sports in which i used to be extraordinary and even i participated in state championship but nobody told me that it can be a profession, i was told about limited options and now I'm stuck in this loop 😢
Same bro, in school there was pt period, but another teacher come at that period. We didint give priority to sport. In childhood, I was not allow to play any outdoor game. This system is garbage.
Luckily my college encourages questions , is very open to new ideas and does encourage my unfair advantage . This video made me realise just how much I should appreciate them.
This was very helpful for me Sir... Currently i was in 10th and i have gone through this pressure a lot and i am thankful for this video... This will surely help to make a change in the system 🙏🏻❤
Thank you Abhi and Niyu for creating awareness about this topic. In my opinion our education system should focus on following things : 1. Practical Knowledge 2. Proper Syllabus 3. Good Teachers 4. Training of other skills like swimming, communication, creativity and innovation 5. Knowledge of all exposures (In my school time, I knew only engineering, doctor, lawyer and teacher. Because of that I lost so many opportunities. I don't want new generation bhi aisi situation face kare. Please share this video. It can make a small contribution to change our education system. Also it's my humble request please make a video on how coaching centers are manipulating students and parents to choose particular field for their profit.
I am in 10th right now and I feel so lucky and grateful that I have some people whom I can comfortably share my problems and about my mental situations🙏
Opinion : Acc to me, It is more important to have ombudsmen for the students preparing and working hard to get into top institutes like NITs, IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, etc or the ones who worked really hard but could'nt get selection, than the students already in those institutes.
Not only in India this is also a huge issue in Nepal as well. As a student, I feel uneasy and pressured when people judge their abilities through marks. This situation must be improved and changed otherwise education will appear as a dangerous poison in ones vision. I hope for the best 🌟
Actually no one is studying to solve any problems in our society .. we are only studying to serve as Employee-" so called servent“ in Company's like Google, Microsoft,etc...etc . Knowledge is not how much information we store in our brain , but knowledge must include man making , character making and problem solving quality.

I must say, after almost a year of following your channel, I have stumbled upon one of the most insightful and thought-provoking videos yet. Keep up the amazing work!
In 2023 i cleared my 12th boards with science stream there was immense pressure/burden to score good in all exam knowing the fact everyone just use to say me to study more to work more harder even though i was giving my best. I try to study whole day because of the pressure, staring outside my windows realising sun changing its position, from day to eve eve to night, now after finishing the board exams i didn't even got a day to just take a break, from next day itself prep for uni exams started. And it's just not only me who feels like this I am sure there are many like me we all are just sailing in the same boat. When i was 9 I use to learn things by singing them in some tune later in older classes i had a keen interest to listen to music while studying whenever I use to tell my parents or even my older siblings that i like to listen to some melodies while studying they use to say its not a good habit and i will forget things very easily but I still use to listen to music while studying it use to keep me engage doesn't let me be bored i could study for hours this way i continued to do it either way and it yielded a positive result. Today i realised it was not something wrong or weird if I did left it idk what would have happened.
Bro i am literally the same till date i study while listening to music not melody only hard rock so that i feel engaged and i can study for longer hours. It's done no wrong to me as well.

Salute to you guys for this video. I graduated in INDIA and further studied in US. A lot difference in both education system. In INDIA families are comparing their kids with the bookish kids and questions are suppressed if you ask. While in US, my professors gave me higher grades for asking questions and if they dont have answer than they search it and answer on next day. After graduated, I have an opportunistic idea for starting business when I was in INDIA in 2006. My dad told me tu kya jaane business ke bare main like everyone in system (Someone had started same business in US and it is right now $300M. When I started in US same I was too late.) Although my dad is a great person because he never stopped me for studying further and learning new.
As an Engineer, I can take one example of JEE mains exam in which you need to crack Maths, Physics and Chemistry more that board exam level and even though the engineering domain I wanted to be in.. requires Maths and Physics, I have to crack Chemistry or else i will be not alloted in a good institute. The person who is equal in all three subjects but has no awarness/passion will be alloted. Now tell me, why should someone crack chemisty in JEE mains level ? My Solution for this is to make students aware about their career after 12th and accordingly the entrance paper should be set like if they wanted to take CSE the paper should contain Good Math, Phy&Che in low level. if its ECE then Maths&phy more and che in low level. Else without any awarness many people take CSE by listening to others, if they dont get it... then they take ECE as 2nd option and ultimately a bubble is created that only CSE/IT & ECE people get good placements and core branches as useless !!!

What changes do you wish to see in the Indian Education System? Comment below!
All colleges should have equal value and same courses and also, education should be of same level everywhere with a very nominal fees.
more focus on
1) research
2)development
3) teach us to live independent
4)more study about business rather than history ( in dapth )
4) work on its passion
6) focus on development (skills ) rather than degree's
like if you agree 👌👌👍👍👍👍

The way we take Education it is mainly focused On Mugging up..
No school or colleges in india tells you how to utilise those information and create something out of it ( Few Schools and Colleges are exceptions)
Its not just education system, its also the Mindset of alot of people..
Parents students teachers, society as a whole encourages only for marks..
1 or 10 Success stories doesn't make system Great..People learn better by doing than reading books
The actual problem in our education system is we are taught to remember not to understand
not only this the entire system is bull shit...
And your intelligence is judged by the marks you get not the way you think
Everyone- Good Buildings, Better Facilities, Less Learning
But No One talks About The Basics Of Education which is Syllabus
Which IN real Life Don't Even Needed(Very Few are Imp).
I beleive that we should be optimistic and make the system work for us. Critisicing wont bring us anywhere
More marks = More intelligent
(Edit: we are stuck in MATRIX. Escape 9-5 and enjoy your life)
I got 1st rank but my parents still criticized me
Same with me bro.. 🥲
Show your parents this video..... Make them aware about how much pressure do you guys feel...they will understand!!
Didn't ke baad appreciated nhi ata
Mingle with your parents and make them to understand the difference between marks and knowledge

When IIT was created, its purpose was to provide India the best innovative and talented engineers.
@@oblivion9400 it's just a business now. They don't focus on improving education system of our country anymore.
2 biggest problems in Indian schools are
1 abusive teachers
2 memorizing education system

Matlab wo tumse kaam karwate nhi to?
Yeah same thing is happening with me.. But this is my first attempt😞
Check my comment too, I faced this shit😢 earlier in my life 😢

I am also a dropper and this is my second attempt...I want to do MBBS but this kind of tremendous pressure is taking away the will from me....what if I get a chance when I am not even barely alive ? I can no longer eat properly or sleep properly and I dont know what will happen with me!

So true.....
Exactly..
If anyone can remember their pre primary education, learning is very inclusive and innovative, through poems and stories. But, once we step into secondary schooling, all of us run behind marks, later ranks, and then achievements. I think we should concentrate on the process rather than discussions about the final goal. It feels very intimidating.
chanse your dream and follow ur pation it's the main purpose of education to fulfill
Let me tell you nowadays parents are pressurizing their children even in pre primary classes..
today jee education starts in 6th though i got lucky with parents who did not presurise me cause i never focuses on study's , and they just gave up on me but last year in my death i gave up not trying and started studing and i am expecting my highest result . but from all i know premiary is not where you get time and passion , also if life was about doing what you love you end up jobless , cause job is not meant to be fun . if following dream is what you want you will quickly realise you going nowhere , for example someone might like bussiness deallings and talking but not like the part when they need to do sort finances , pay taxes ,extra . rarely anyone is payed to do what they love what you can do instead is pick a job that will give you a higher chance to escape the rat race earlier then others and then enjoy life , it is what i am doing right now
Kya bekar ki baatein krta hai ye ladka.

1. Practical thinking, practical learning should be incorporated since pre-kg in schools
2. Parent teacher meetings should just not focus on talking about marks, but talk about how all-round development of kid is going on
I just want to tell all the 10th, inter, neet aspirants and who ever in their crucial points of life- life has much to give you, much love, much kindness, much respect any many more. If you aren't able to get what you want, try to excel in what you get. Good luck and God bless you all

Generation gap to rahega hi. Chahe woh Jo bhi Education system ho. It is teacher's job to try and understand the mindset, skills, interest of students. So we lack good teachers who can really understand students.
Generation gap ? Parents are to be blamed.

To all the students here,
Don't STOP.

bro I am a college student and I will say that student pressure and unhealthy competition are one part.
@@priyanshuagarwal3363 suicide is never an option you choose it when you have NO option left or you think you have no option left

Its a loophole, job ke liye experience chaiye aur experience ke liye job.....
Knowledge is unlimited, but the ultimate kind of knowledge is self-knowledge.

Thank you.

As an Indian high school student , I can confirm that the education system sucks. 😞
yes really i hate my past 10 yrs of school life though i have passesd 10th and just streching to complete my 2 more yrs of this frustrating school life man this sucks
Yes🥹
At least in north india there is some time for physical activities and other personal things but in Andhra Pradesh most of the schools and junior colleges make students stay there for 12 hours a day with no play hours and no communication skills. Every student is not treated the same way here. The campus itself looks like an IT building but its just a normal school here. They brainwash students saying that their life is nothing if they don't pass JEE or NEET. Most of the schools here make students study JEE syllabus from 6th grade. I am a victim of this. Education system in AP needs to be fixed ASAP.
Why not just point out Narayana & Chaitanya ?
We should take this to the education minister...how much board exams have impacted children life this time by increasing the difficulty level..what will happen with those who are weak and average ..
I was always a failure during my school days..always trying to remember things. But after 10th I self realized that my pace is different and all I have to do is go with my own capacity. In 12th I got 89% which might me low for others for me this is the highest percentage which I ever got. And the best part was that I loved all of the subjects and wrote it in my way.
That’s a awesome percentage!!

Not only in India this is also a huge issue in Nepal as well. As a student, I feel uneasy and pressured when people judge their abilities through marks. This situation must be improved and changed otherwise education will appear as a dangerous poison in ones vision.

“Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school. It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education. ”

I must say, after almost a year of following your channel, I have stumbled upon one of the most insightful and thought-provoking videos yet. Keep up the amazing work!
The most important problem of education is that they have now changed the education pattern without remembering the system .
Same. I just passed 12th. But😢😢😢
TRUE BHAIYA.I AM A STUDENT OF NEET. I PASSED 10TH IN 2016 WITH 89 % AND 12 TH WITH PCB IN 2018 WITH 87% IN RBSE BOARD .AND FROM 2018 TILL NOW ALMOST 5 YEARS AFTER STRUGGLING TILL NOW FOR GETTING A SEAT IN GOVT.MBBS COLLEGE BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD A PRIVATE ONE .I AM A GENERAL CATEGORY STUDENT.AND LAST YEAR EVEN AFTER SCORING 590 MARKS I DONT GET GOVT.MBBS COLLEGE THIS YEAR ALSO I am sitting in exams on 7 th may . I think govt must take measures against this one major step they should took is to apply EWS in all categories instead of reservation. So that right person get it.MANY OF MY FRIENDS ARE REPEATING LIKE ME EVEN AFTER SCORING ABOVE 90%.GOVT MUST TOOK MEASURES OTHERWISE EDUCATION WIPED OUT DAY BY DAY
Bhai mat kar mbbs..pg ka struggle alag hi level ka hai
Bhai 5 saal? Shaadi tk mbbs hi krta rahega.. Still good luck.

Same experience here
As an Engineer, I can take one example of JEE mains exam in which you need to crack Maths, Physics and Chemistry more that board exam level and even though the engineering domain I wanted to be in.. requires Maths and Physics, I have to crack Chemistry or else i will be not alloted in a good institute.
I remember how PTM wired a feeling of self guilt inside me. I didn't used to speak anything in PTMs and used to think that whatever they are saying is true and everything is my fault. Being a 2nd year college student , I am still fighting this feeling of self insecurity.
I legit didn't attend the ptms lmao
I also but after learning the dirty secrets of our teachers I stopped caring about them.
So far Ive never attended a ptm in my life but I got bad grades in my recent test and the principal wants to meet my parents who are strict.I am literally praying so that my ptm goes well😢
@@abhinavkr8036 It's a scary feeling I remember. But there's no escape except that you in front of your teachers and parents accept that you will achieve better marks in next exams.
This type of video every year and most of the youtuber make ... but till now nothing has changed ..... True reality

Around 20 years back , when in 2003 , while i joined diploma in pharmacy , the first day, one of our teacher told ,
U R GOING TO STUDY MOST OF THE MEDICINES THAT ARE EITHER BANNED OR ARE HAVING SUPERIOR ALTERNATIVES and the books were from 1990s... A decade older ..
Most of the books remain the same till DATE .
