In Pyros description it says he cant talk due to his lungs being destroyed by the asbestos mask he wears constantly. Pyro suffers from constant Asbestos poisoning. Why does this matter? Well one of the first signs of Asbestos poisoning is actually puffy fingers meaning it's very possible his fingers aren't naturally like that.

In his defense, the gloves were probably unisex and not made specifically for him, so the pointer finger on the glove may have been longer than his actual finger.
