Your hot cocoa bar is so cute. Love the added reindeer shot jigger . When you said Ovaltine, it brought back memories of my Dad. He passed at 95 , and his favorite hot drink when we were growing was Ovaltine . Both recipes were amazing. Being a savory girl, I wanted to reach into the screen and break off a piece of that tree, while its hot , right out of the oven!!!!
Fun fact I remember that when I first started watching your channel you were putting those (same) ribbons on the glass crocks…love how you keep it simple Hilary.
I’m in love with your cozy home. I also have a small home, my country cottage. Your home is so welcoming and beautifully decorated. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. So inspirational. 🌲♥️
I love the way you decorate your kitchen. So cozy and simple ❤ if you accept a suggestion, the real Italian tiramisù doesn't have cream but it's made with 5 eggs, 500 gr of mascarpone and 100 gr of sugar. First you mix the eggs with sugar and then, when they're creamy, add the cheese veeeeery slowly ❤
I must say I love using real greenery for Christmas, another tradition I started because of you! Love the hot chocolate bar looks so cute especially with the reindeer. You are my Martha Stewart lol. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.
Your kitchen looks lovely. Spice/herb storage certainly can get unruly. I used to store mine in a place similar to yours until I learned that herbs, spices, and baking powder are heat sensitive. Now I store mine in a drawer to the side of the stove, away from heat. Then, what to do with that space above the stove. I use it to store items that I don't use all that often which works well for me as that space is a little difficult to access anyway. I love to cook and I love traditional kitchens. Thank you for showing us yours.
Yum! We love tiramisu. We use Savoiardi fingers. I’ve learnt to always use a little less liquid than required, especially if sitting in the fridge overnight which = no sloppy tiramisu!
I felt so inspired for Christmas after watching this video ! The recipes looked and sounded delicious and I really appreciated your simple natural decorating style. It just shows that you can make your home look very festive and beautiful without needing to spend a lot of money. p.s. my very favourite was your little hot cocoa area :) - so sweet ! Merry Christmas ~ Linda
I bought your planner 2024, and I hope that it will motivate me in order to make things done all year long. I love your content. Happy christmas from France
Lovely video, very calming. I've always loved your kitchen. Your kitchen is my inspiration when I get to update mine; color, cabinet pulls, sconce lights and especially the counter tops. Matching spice jars would make a nice gift to receive.
I just had to subscribe after seeing your video! I liked the ribbon around the cannisters and how you did your simmering pot! I bet that made your house smell like Grandma's!!
Hi Hilary, wonderful video. I love how your kitchen looks all year but it is so warm snd cozy decorated for Winter! The recipes look delicious. I’m going to try them both.❤
We started Christmas decorating last night, after we got home from Thanksgiving dinner out with family. My daughter couldn't wait lol It takes me about three days to complete the task, and its one we love doing every year. This year I am doing something new with our kitchen island. I will be getting a potted, live Christmas tree to have in the center. We are a small family of 3 adults, so decorating is easy. Our big tree is a faux one so it will be nice to have the scent of the real one. We live in Arizona so we have to buy our pine trees and branches...a Christmas palm tree just won't do, lol, even though they were there for the first Christmas :) Happy Holidays everyone ! 🥰❄🎄🎀🎁☃🎅💝✝
You are so blessed to have Juniper/blueberries shrubs/trees in your backyard... ladies I know pay big bucks for the purchase online of the Dried version of these...$18 US per bunch! You should cut a whole bunch, and see how they dry - then use them year after year...or to share with friends and family! Do you have a church Christmas party with your group this year?
The music, editing, content is just ✨ and so inspiring! Now I want to go decorate and work on my spice cabinet and revamp another cabinet to house all my grains, flours, sugars, etc and do some baking! 🤗
Thanks for the tiramisu recipe. Interestingly, when translated from Italian it means "Pick Me Up". Tiramisu makes for an excellent reviver and as a special treat!
Love the simple touches of greenery and ribbons! Great recipes, too. I am too late for your Q&A requests- but I still have the same question I had last year. That is, is there any Italian in your family bloodline? After all, your Dad makes wine and pizza rustica… and now the Tiramisu reminded me I should ask again. 😂 Just curious, I love all ethnicities which bring so much variety of deliciousness to the table! God is no respecter of persons, indeed 🥰
Your kitchen looks so warm and inviting! I loved that Tiramasu recipe!! Can I ask where you got those hard lady fingers? Can I get them in ShopRite or Wegmans? I’ve never seen them. That looks so decadent!! Thanks for sharing that!!
Hello Hilary🎄 Another amazing video, thank you for sharing your holiday recipes, I made the maple pumpkin muffins recipe and it is Delicious!!!I I will be making the Xmas tree appetizer for the family. You're the holiday queen 👑

Hi Hilary really nice and simple decor for the kitchen. Love the recipes. I was looking at another you tuber - Life with Mari V. She used the same concept for the Christmas tree recipe and did a sweet dessert. Have a blessed weekend.

Yes...on the reindeer shot glass, it's so unusual. She always finds great treasures when thrifting.

I'm a Martha Stewart and Hillary fan, too.
Your Christmas home is lovely. Not sure if your juniper berries are poisonous, but some are. They are so pretty, though.
The kitchen is the heart of the home.
Your kitchen looks so warm and inviting. The cup with the stags head is a stirrup cup. ❤️🦘

You've also inspired me to go to the thrift store and look for vintage Christmas mugs and decor!! 😊
Thank you for sharing the Tiramisu recipe. It’s my husband’s favourite and I think I will make it for his birthday next month.
And it got even better a couple days later, if it lasts that long ☺️

Hot Chocolate Station is a great place to gather
Bayleys, you should use the little deer for Bayleys ...
Who would be the first in line for a an Old World home cook book? Me🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
I just use other peoples’ recipes ☺️
What video has your reindeer garland diy? What size green velvet ribbon you use? Link?
Lovely video. Are you doing Vlogmas this year?
Love your videos for so many reasons! Did you make the reindeer garland?
Yes ☺️ I have a video on my channel how to make one
How wonderful! Thank you! Which one?
I’ve searched your videos and can’t find it. Also, what size of green velvet ribbon did you use? Do you happen to have a link?
What is the brand of Ladyfingers you use and where can I buy them?
Most grocery stores have them. I have used Stella Dora brand. You will be able to tell if they are crunchy.
I used Goya 💛 They can be found at most larger grocery stores
Where did you purchase the lady fingers?
My local larger grocery store, in the international aisle 💛
😊👍👋 🎄
I wish I could find lady fingers somewhere 😢
Most bigger grocery stores around me carry them, mine were from the international aisle
Great video, thanks!
