I have never used Kelp noodles. Are they similar to the texture of sweet potato noodles?? I don’t care for shiritaki noodles as they squeak when you chew them. Where do you purchase them?Thank u for posting this recipe!!! Love your recipes!!
The brand I use is sea tangle. You just add baking soda and massage for a minute to soften and rinse well. They are very low calorie and high in fiber and rich in minerals. I count them as a veggie in my 2B mindset nutrition program
Prep your vegetables or sides every other day or two. They will still be fresh especially if you store them properly for crispness. Also, this is helpful if you make multiple meals a day.
@@Mia-ElementalThis is my method too. Whenever I buy veggies, I cut and slice them in different ways the same day and store them that way. So whenever I need ingredients, they’re already pre sliced and ready to go. Saves a ton of time.
I'm been doing keto for a year and a half now and I've lost 108 pounds. This salad sounds so refreshing and delicious. I can't wait to make it. Thanks for sharing!!
My suggestion is to always keep pre-cooked meats like rotisserie chicken, grilled salmon from the grocery deli, tuna salad, etc. That way you can shred or add to a rice bowl, wrap, salad, stir fry, etc. A salad kit, grilled salmon or chicken, a grain or wrap & a few pieces of your favorite fruit can be assembled in less than 5 minutes. Enjoy ☺️☀️🌱
Agree with this commenter- I’ve found that pre-cooking and pre-slicing meats/fish like steak, turkey, chicken, salmon, tuna etc and putting them in freezer bags saves a ton of time for the following days meal prep. Same with pre-chopped veggies/salads and pre-made dressings/sauces but kept in the fridge instead. Just take out a meat bag the day before and defrost, in the morning, grab a bag of veggies and sauce/dressing of your choice and you can either make a salad, add to a mason jar of noodles and hot water, a baked potato, seaweed wraps, microwave rice packet, tortilla wraps, sliced bread, a baguette or a bagel etc- it takes maybe two hours tops for me to prep two weeks worth of meat and a weeks worth of veggies and dressings on a Sunday evening. @NutritionByKylie is also a great account to follow for quick, easy, nutritious meal ideas as well. She’s a registered dietitian so she’s actually qualified to give legitimate medical and nutrition advice backed by scientific evidence. Plus, she also has a similar attitude towards food/meals that this lady does. Instead of subtracting, she asks “ok what can we add to this meal that is nutritious and keep us fuller for longer?”
I seriously thought I was the only person to know about kelp noodles!! They are so good! My local grocery carried them for awhile, but after pandemic they have been impossible to find. 💔
It would take about 20 mins. You have to wash the noodles really well. Also what about the washing up-add another 20 minutes . Also saw a docu whereby they use a lot of chlorine to wash cut veggies , so they last longer .
I love your attitude sometimes it isn’t easy we have different home environments I hope that you can be an inspiration to those around you to eat fresh healthy foods from a dietitian in Australia 😊
Should be delicious..nice recipe..but if you are not going to boil the ginger, you do have to peel the ginger ..since it came from the soil ..or if you are too lazy to skin the ginger , then just add one fourth of a teaspoon of ginger powder. Only a slight difference in taste from fresh ginger
Why is everything 5 minutes to make? Making and enjoying food is supposed to be a pleasurable experience. If you truly only have 5 minutes you're going to have to prep in advance cuz that's not 5 minutes.
Wondering the same. If you keep dressing separate (add before eating each day), maybe use kale (a green that doesn’t wilt quickly), seems like you could prep for several days? I’m not familiar with these noodles. Will they keep for a few days?
No. You have to rinse them very well under the cold tap. What I used to do is after rinsing them well , is to stick them in the microwave for 2 minutes , then I’d stir frying them with ginger and soy sauce and add courgetti
Y’all really need to realize that not many lunches can actually be prepared in 5 minutes. And if they can, they probably aren’t that great. I understand her saying 5 minutes Is used to grab your attention, and you may not like that, but honestly. What she’s really saying is that it won’t take that long to make.
I was thinking shirataki noodles and then you said it.?! Hmm 🤔. I know you said that this recipe was for girls short on time but can a guy use it too?😢😅😊 in regard to your dressing technique: I always make salad dressing for my wife’s salads, but I don’t use an immersion blender. Are used a jar with a lid similar to you, but I add mustard powder to help create an emulsion. I put on the lid and shake it vigorously and voilà, I have the same end result as you… but I don’t have to clean my emulsion blender afterwards. I’m just saying…. I like your videos and I like you. 😊 By the way, have you ever tried tofu skin noodles?
I can't remember exactly it was also in one of her older videos. I think it was to help with the texture or maybe to make it not slimy? Sorry I can't remember for the life of me
😉Shirataki or kelp noodles might be more healthy or protein packed〰️I don't know〰️but I definitely dislike their flavor😖. If you have an Asian (Chinese/Japanese) specialty grocery store* in your area, they sometimes will sell a pea based ramen type noodle too. (It also has a translucent looking quality like here.) 😊Think it would work great in this dish. *In bigger cities, seach for these stores near ethnic related neighborhoods. In LA, you can find them in DTLA around China town or nearby in SGV. This is a dry noodle you can buy in bulk bcos it has a longer shelf life. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
ok but when is saw the cost of them it was 8 bucks for 3 servings and the serving size was super small. didn’t u say u’re against spending a lot of money to eat low cal
I have to admit this will probably take me more than five minutes to make but what I really ❤️ about it is the fact that you have made a salad dressing using only 1 tablespoon of oil. Do you know how hard that is to find?

After baking soda, do you rinse the kelp noodles? I love kelp seasoning I found at natural store.
I have also never heard of kelp noodles. I'm sure this will have to be an Amazon purchase for me. What brand would you recommend?

I was happy that it would take me 5 minutes until the dressing part 😂😂😂 😭😭😭
Ecept you can probably triple it and use it for weeks if kept in the frig!
I find thinning out the peanut butter with a splash of hot water speeds up the process a lot and you can just use a whisk and give it a good stir 😊
That’s what I was thinking too!! 😂
Looks yummy 😋
It would take me 15 mins to just gather all the ingredients 😂😂😂

10-12 minutes minimum
I’m thinking 20
That would take me like 45 minutes at least
@sarasays...850 correct...love the thought of 5
Actually this takes a day and a half
You’re annoying
Her dishes/meals look delicious.
You are awesome! Thanks for so so many great recipes!!! 🤗 God bless!

Congratulations!!!!
Good for you! That’s fantastic!!! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
The dressing was 15 minutes 😂😂
This looks so delicious and fresh. I used to love a fire roasted carrot and edamame blend with salads like this but can't find them anymore ☹️

Wow this looks really good. Saving
Love your hacks!!!
Yummmm 😋
But let's be realistic 10-15 min sis
You can do it in less if you buy prepackaged broccoli slaw from the produce section and just use that for your veggies.
You're definitely a genus with your recipes
Why do you use baking soda on the noodles? Please explain ❤
Oh my gosh this looks so good 🥹
Looks so tempting lm making this😊
Just saw the pipe thank you.Cant wait to try it 😋
This looks delicious
This looks so yummy
Sooo pretty!!!!
10 minutes 🎉🎉
I seriously thought I was the only person to know about kelp noodles!! They are so good! My local grocery carried them for awhile, but after pandemic they have been impossible to find. 💔
It’s gonna take me a whole day to get all this stuff 🥴🤣
Let alone it costs like $24 for one salad of these ingredients 🫠
Yummy 😊

What brand of kelp noodles do you use?
I love eating like this
I love your large portions but it's mostly veggies. Exactly how I eat!! I could eat raw veggies all day!
Oh yeah. I like this idea 😁👍
Thank You Hon.
when I'm old enough to live on my own I want to do get all this healthy food
I love your attitude sometimes it isn’t easy we have different home environments I hope that you can be an inspiration to those around you to eat fresh healthy foods from a dietitian in Australia 😊
More like 10-15 mins cmon now
Oh yeah!! literally have none i that in my fridge
I like your orange top . Where did you get it?

What do the kelp noodles taste like when you first try them? Are they bitter or have a weird flavor?
I am curious too
Me 2!
No flavor really, that’s why you need the sauce😊
Are kelp noodles grain free? Which are softer, kelp or Shiratske?
Why is everything 5 minutes to make? Making and enjoying food is supposed to be a pleasurable experience. If you truly only have 5 minutes you're going to have to prep in advance cuz that's not 5 minutes.
mash Allah❤
Do you make this ahead of time for lunch? I couldn't do this on my half hour lunch but, looks SO YUMMY!!!
Wondering the same. If you keep dressing separate (add before eating each day), maybe use kale (a green that doesn’t wilt quickly), seems like you could prep for several days?
I’m not familiar with these noodles. Will they keep for a few days?
thanks 4 input@@kittmurphy4558
Yummmy!!!
Is there a brand of those Shirataki that are the best tasting?
No. You have to rinse them very well under the cold tap. What I used to do is after rinsing them well , is to stick them in the microwave for 2 minutes , then I’d stir frying them with ginger and soy sauce and add courgetti

Can you come over for a few days?
For people who like a lot of creamy salad dressing but dont want the calories, what do you recommend?
Greek yoghurt imo
does this work for boys too

How many servings is this?
I literally have none of this
not even a carrot? :D
Just curious - why is baking soda needed?
I can't remember exactly it was also in one of her older videos. I think it was to help with the texture or maybe to make it not slimy? Sorry I can't remember for the life of me
Then rinse? Or leave them? And are we soaking them for a few mins like glass noodles before using?
I thought frozen veggies were not supposed to be consumed uncooked … the bags always say bring to 165 degrees before eating. 🤷🏻♀️
How many calories is this? Willing to try it!
I don’t count calories. I lose my weight and keep it off with the 2B mindset program instead. If I had to guess maybe 300-400
What kind of noodles??
Eggs are a great way too.
Looks delicious but there’s no way I could make that in five minutes and I’m a seasoned cook
YUM
Is this 1 serving?
What type of noodles are those???
Purchased the kelp noodles because of this vid. One of the most heinous foods I've ever eaten. I'm not a picky eater either 🤮
It would take me 10 minutes just to find all those ingredients in my kitchen
Are these Shorts recipes in your book
This is exactly how I cook
Kelp noodles??? What is the taste like??
why the baking soda?
how much soy sauce?!?
1/4 cup 😊
Where can I find the noodles she used? And what are they called?
Kelp noodles
Shiritake or Kelp

ok but when is saw the cost of them it was 8 bucks for 3 servings and the serving size was super small. didn’t u say u’re against spending a lot of money to eat low cal

Yeah, sure. 5 minutes... all so effortless
It’s 5 minutes to get all
those ingredients together. Lady, this is a fail. And deceiving.
great recipe but really in 5 minutes?
how does your stomach digest that much food at one sitting!
And you eat the whole plate yourself?
This is for the girl who has a nanny….
ALWAYS PEEL THE GINGER PLEASE ❤
This lady wants u to spend part of ur 5 minutes massaging some noodles 😂😂 looks good tho
I love you and your platform! But you have to stop calling these 5 min lunches 🙏 lol
Lookin at us sideways like a chicken

LOWER sodium not LOW sodium
wut? you dont peel that garlic????
😂😂😂
Its a good recipe but you turn it into a joke when you tell people it will take 5 minutes
Do the kelp noodles have a fishy taste or smell?! 😬😬
5 minutes- you are wrong!
Me having some olive oil in my pantry 🤡
Omg I cannot take peanut butter in it
Maybe you should start saying 10mins.
5 minutes to prepare…. 50 min later….
A tablespoon of olive oil?? Oy
5 minutes 🥲
