Had a fish tank going for over 40 years.... retired last year and wondered if fishkeeping could be a good passtime. But I could not keep a plant going nor had a full grasp of the N cycle. I have been able to learn enough to be comfortable with all kinds of tanks now and shrimp tanks and such. This is because of youtube teachers like yourself. your explanation of PH and all the variables was the key for me then all the other ones. I recall looking through for any where you wore the white lab coat so I would not miss out on the free nuts and bolts schooling lol.... I really enjoy this very type of video where you clearly have spent a lot of time and effort. THis is a beautiful set up. I really enjoy this type of video so thanks so Much.
@@XCaliKev exactly, once you learn things you can apply them and it is a lot of fun really. I just added crushed coral in a bag to the goldfish tank to make sure they dont crash ph again and I know exactly what that means lol....
Couldn't be more happy to see you back aquascaping like this! You're the first person who got me into aquascaping and now I'm doing things like this on my own.. thanks bro
You can make it from flaoting rock. It's way cheeper making it from oasis( not the green kne for flowers, but the gray one. They use it for creating dryflower ornament. The green one sucks itself full water and sinks, the gray one floats there it doesn't absorbe water
Hi the vibe looking pieces, where did you get those from? Also, are these real lava rock? I have seen you use other rocks that are partially plastic?? I think
My LFS has a display tank that they sell shrimp out of and at some point they had about 50 pygmy corys in there and it was so amazing to watch their behaviour with that many in the tank. I have yet to see a RUclipsr do a huge school of them and I would love to see that in a tank like this.
Great video!!! Question, the grassy tufts that you are sticking in the holes of the pumice-are those also superglued in place? Or are they just stuffed in and eventually naturally anchor themselves into the rock? Greetings from Germany!!!
I just set up an avatar themed tank a week ago. Now that I seen this video I'm a little concerned. I used fishing line to hold my rock. Hopefully it will not eventually sink.

👍😎 Agreed. I’ve had a tank sense 82 I think. Didn’t know anything about it. Watching “FishTube” has taught me so much.
Thanks!!!!!! Glad to help ;)

I swear this is the third time I've seen you make this tank
Since it's an Avatar themed scape, fishes with a "neon" blue would look awesome 😉
Looks great! I think that some monte carlo hanging down would look awesome
did you use driftwood or basic twigs found outside ?
Glad to see your back in action you’re one of my fave youtubers
Thanks! :)
mini trident is my fav
Didn't you do this before?
This scape is awesome
How is this tank doing if you still have it going? I’m actually very curious on how the hair grass did being in the floating stones
Does good, co2 is important tho
wait haven't you done this before already?
I remember watching you like 4 years ago omg
Very effective, maybe try using clear plastic to hold the rocks instead?

What's up Mike, you are very creative and when I check in I am always happy with the video, great job.
the new avatar aquarium looks great
Thanks for sharing Mike!🇯🇵
Anything Avatar themed💜
You should put some crabs in there
Cool looking 👌
What is your favorite cap for a dirted tank! Any chance you can comment a link! Thanks!
I prefer any time of sand other than white.
Really nice scape
Glad you're back in the game 💪
Good job... 👏👏👏👏 Shout out from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 👍
Looking great man!

pseudomugil cyanodorsalis or dwarf neon rainbowfish could look cool in the tank
Pack it full of diamond tetras!
Nice, but don't drill anything you are holding with your other hand :)
Love it💕👍

They just rest inside. As long as co2 is added they they seem to grow well :)
I just want you to pin my comment 📌😜
