  • The Beaten Path is a stunning, 26-mile point-to-point hike across Montana's Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. The route is dotted with alpine lakes and the chance to see moose, elk, deer, bears, and a myriad of other animals. This is right up there with the most scenic backpacking trips in Montana and rivals Glacier National Park, the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and Anaconda Pintlers. It should be added to any avid hiker, backpacker, thru-hiker, and trail runner's bucket list.

Our family favorite, been through the beaten path 11 times now, never gets old.

One of my favorite places to hike! A few years ago we went up the stillwater valley from woodbine to dixie pass, hiked into cooke city and stayed there for a night, then hiked back down the beaten path.

I'm guessing we didn't see wildlife because of the music?😀

People need to stop with the lame music in videos that are about wildlife and the natural world. The music in this video is generic, it's more like Muzak.🌐 Elevator_music
November 2, 2023 - Elevator music (also known as Muzak, piped music, or lift music) is a type of background music played in elevators, in rooms where many people come together for reasons other than listening to music, and during telephone calls when placed on hold. There is no specific sound associated with elevator music, but it usually involves simple instrumental themes from "soft" popular music, or "light" classical music being performed by slow strings.
