- With Slovakia's prime minister's life hanging in the balance - his political rivals and supporters have come together to denounce the assassination attempt - calling it an attack on Slovak democracy.
Robert Fico was hit in the stomach after a gunman opened fire during a meeting with supporters in the town of Handlova, just over 100 miles from the capital Bratislava.
He was airlifted to hospital - where the next few hours will prove critical.
A warning - there are shocking images from the very start of this report.

If you do not have healts, you to not care about money, politics, democracy, war, you only wait for educated and moral people will help you soon. I can not believe the police officer who was standing to the right of him and who simply ran away when he heard the shots. Not a single police officer reacted or drew their weapons. Also when the PM was shot, not a single person from his detail stayed focused on him. The security agent immedietly next to him watched him hit the floor and had a delayed reaction when unholstering his weapon. There could have been other shooters in the crowd and nobody was focused on the PM except the shooter.

no one expected it will turn this way our country is very safe in terms of real gun violence or other bigger crimes like torrorism so most of our defence personel are trained very little and dont expect more than a fist fight arguments or pickpocketing

The origin of a jury I believe was in cases where guilt was in doubt. “Alleged” is a popular reporting nicety which is redundant in cases like this. In many cases applied to the facts; “alleged killing” for example.
