I graduated from WGU in may of this year. I got my security+ and started applying. I’ve been working as a Cybersecurity Analyst since September of last year and just got promoted to a Analyst II, i without a doubt recommend WGU to anyone willing to hustle.
When did u first start learning about cyber?
WGU nursing program is great. But the cyber program is lacking in rigor.
My bro! Well done. I've followed your channel since the days you gave tips on the CompTia A+ certification. Congratulations on completing your many milestones.
My man never disappoints with the thumbnails 🔥 The legend never disappoints 🙌 Really great breakdown of the schools and pros and negatives and making sure to break down the sections to make it easier to digest and find. Great work!
Thanks for mentioning RIT! I am a security and comp sci student, and I love my experience so far :)
Glad to hear it!
you're living the life! I wanted to go there all through high school and then ultimately transfer there after CC, but I'm 24 now and didn't wanna go through moving and all that, especially with covid. maybe one day for my masters! I hope you're having a great time there dude.
Also for RIT you can get an accelerated masters degree
RIT also started the Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition, which is both extremely fun and a great learning experience.
That’s next level 🔥
Thanks for giving a shoutout to RITSEC! We're glad you enjoyed our videos and a lot of us enjoy yours :)
Glad to hear it!
Hey there! 👋 Thank you for the informative video about the best cybersecurity schools in the US. As an aspiring cybersecurity student from India, I'm considering a few more universities for pursuing my MS, such as CMU INI, GIT, NYU, and USC, in addition to RIT. I would love to hear your thoughts and insights on these universities, specifically in terms of their exposure to the US job market and the cybersecurity culture they foster. Your expert advice would be incredibly valuable for me as I make this crucial decision. Looking forward to hearing your perspective on this. Thanks again, and keep up the great work! 🌟
Like I covered in the video, vet the school, vet the program and the professor too. Reach out to alumni and ask about their experience, go on rate my professor and see what people say about the professors and check the syllabus to see if it aligns with industry standards. All the best!
What do you think about Sans certificate offering? Its 4 courses long.
is there a path you suggest for someone who doesn't want to go to college?
I see you have Robert Greene's Laws of Human Nature on your shelf...excellent :)
One of my favorites
Im going to Sans for my Bachelor's. I transfer next year. I'm so excited 🎉🎉❤
All the best!
I am so sad I am not starting over again when I was 24... I would love that SANS course-diploma..
It’s never too late!
Thank you sir for sharing such very resourceful materials. I need some advice because i just finished university with a computer engineering degree in my country and i dont if i should apply for a masters or it is required that i start with a degree specifically in cybersecurity and then moving on to the masters
I’d say look for entry level jobs with your current degree and start building experience.
@@DayCyberwoxThanks alot 🙏🏾
WGU includes Comptia certifications with their program. Is this true?
Yes.
Can you please make a video for UK and Australia? (for international students) Unfortunately the visa ratio is bad from my country (Bangladesh)
can you please do one for the UK or people who are broke with no money and want to just work hard and get a cybre sec job
I’m not too familiar with the UK education system
I just got accepted to RIT🎉
Congrats! I’d love to know how it goes🙂
@@DayCyberwox I think it will go well, I visited the college last week and everyone in the club seemed nice
any updates?
Good luck! I transferred out. I didn’t think they were worth it. Too hyped up. By the way, I transferred out to FIU with a 4.0.
have u heard of level affect botocamp
Yep, heard good things about it.
