- When it comes to choosing cars it can be hard, but when you have millions to spend it can get even trickier, we look through 3 different Hypercars, and talk about the positives to owning each one.

To me nothing can beat a LaF Aperta, that screaming V12 with no roof is just the absolute best.

The two hypercars I desire to drive the most are the LaFerrari and the McLaren P1. Fell in love with the LaFerrari when a pre-production model pulled up next to me while I was on a tour of the Ferrari factory. I have had the good fortune to drive a Pagani Huayra and the acceleration was brutal and mind bending. Speed tail does not excite me aesthetically, hate those wheel covers, but if a drive is offered I won’t say no. Always nice to have choices.

Firstly, great video and far better than I was expecting as this is the first one I've watched - very relaxed, smooth and casual feel which works perfectly, but it just needed a good walk around of each one like you did with the Aperta, showing all the details and also some filming of all the interior also would be ideal.
Secondly my choice out of the 3 would easily knockout the Speedtail first as in my opinion it's a poor attempt at a modern day Mclaren F1 and just failed - Mclaren could have done so much better, it's a real shame and in fact Gordon Murray with his new glorious T50 has shown Mclaren exactly how it should be done.
This leaves the Aperta and Huayra to chose from and I can't so it's stalemate as the vast qualities of both are too strong in different areas.

Mclaren P1 and a Ferarri La Ferrari ... two of the best cars ever produced in every aspect. Those are the two id buy and keep forever!

I always liked the Koenigseggs because they are the most insane cars. And the paganis are the Italian equivalent, and have an amazing attention to detail, I like how Pagani makes the body shells in different colored carbon fiber.
Awesome video and to take someone else’s point of view was great. Love it. I’m not the biggest Ferrari fan but I’d probably take that out the three. Love the speedtail but too futuristic as you said, too many screens etc

I think I would choose the speedtail as you get the most for your money. The La Ferrari Aperta is aesthetically beautiful and the Pagani Huayra is has a cool interior and is the poster car.

I will personally stick to my Merc C220d but loved the video and Tom “the Driver” somewhat reminds me of Lenny The Urban Geezer. LaF for me for the rarity value but these wheels don’t work for me for some reason with the Rosso Corsa and all the carbon.
The 220d has exactly the same engine as my old 250d. They deliberately detune it from factory. It’s worth getting a decent remap. There’s tons more power and torque in it 👌
@@freddiejones4598 Not just map. 250 has one more turbocharger so it gets 34 more horsepower. This will definitely get C4rls attention :-)

The Pagani and McLaren are both very very nice.... but the LaFerrari is beyond words and it only gets better in Aperta form!

How would you decide? Personally I would go see Carl and whichever of the 3 (technically 2) gave me the feeling that would be the one . I wouldn't need to drive it nor would I need to hear it I would like to sit in it before but you can't lose . There are no bad choices and whichever of the available cars gave you that feeling that's the one simple as that. I've never owned such a luxurious I've had some fast nice regular man vehicles like a Nissan 350Z, Jaguar S type and my first vehicle that I taught myself how to drive on a Honda CBR 900RR . All three of those vehicles purchased without driving first I sealed the deal on the phone before I ever laid eyes on them

Personally, I'm not a fan of any of them. The LaFerrari feels too clinical, the Pagani feels to 'try-hard', and the Speedtail feels derivative.
Best of the three would probably be the Speedtail though. Most innovative and has a lot of details that both rival and trump that of the Huayra.
Btw, when I say the Pagani feels 'try-hard' I'm referring to the all the "wow, look at that attention to details 😱😱" you see throughout the car that really isn't attention to detail. It's just finding something insignificant and looking for a way to make it something you can point out to reviewers to say "wow, look at us". i.e. the "pagani" logo on the screws.
You just don't get it. Btw LaFerrari isn't clinical...oh no. It's the market which makes the cars look clinical. Remember when the F40 was thought to be this tractor of a car?? Same misconception happens in LaF. The car is a riot to drive. And it has character once driven properly.
My goal in car ownership to be able to afford these cars and debug misconceptions

The LaFerrari feels too clinical to me because it's predictable and it's got such crazy performance that there's never a question of whether it's going to be able to do what you want it to. It does exactly want you want, how you want, and every single time without question. There's no tension or intensity when driving it except the obvious speed and sound. I know it's a very spirited car, but that spirit doesn't come out 99.99% of the time and I don't like that.
The same issue comes with most hyper cars. That's just the nature of it. There are exceptions of course, but the LaFerrari isn't one of them,,, IN MY OPINION

LaF is UK supplied but LHD? Do Ferrari not make hypercars in RHD anymore?
They never made any of the "Big 5" supercars in an RHD configuration from the factory. A few 288/F40/F50 have been converted to RHD by Pininfarina though.
