What was the point of cutting the wing and gluing it back together? It would of been good with measurements. I like the concept, want to do something similar, thank you.
Do it , this is an experiment working very well
The cut n glue was necessary for the dihedral angle.

How much mm thrmacol you are using

at 1:37, ideally, leading edge should be rounded and trailing edge Tapered. the thick trailing edge makes More drag. this type of wing should be mounted with a few degrees of positive aoa. angle of attack..

at :49, this is a single-surface slow-flyer profile/airfoil. but, the wing it too short, fat , with too round tips.
