Same. I’m in the Caribbean and I only have time to sketch outside on mornings. I go with a piece of charcoal or graphite and just draw on my morning walk. That’s that. I hate mosquitoes too!
Any time of the day that I can get out works for me because my schedule is all over the place. I am 100% not a morning person or at least my wife says that and I agree 🤣. I love the colors of the sunset but its about 5 minutes before it all changes and doesn't look as good. I do think @5:37 would be a good sketch but you would have to take a photo and complete it at the house with good lighting. You just could not do it there on site. I really like that orange artificial glow I think it could be beautiful if the composition was done correctly. I just love sketches/paintings that catch mundane everyday events of life. It seems like most of the events are nothing special until you set there and study it and realize that there is so much beauty in the world/universe. Just the fact we are alive in this world is against all odds and so special. Love the video and you have gave me much thought to ponder on.
I really love this! The every day stuff is definitely what makes the world special. I guess the best time of the day is "now" instead of any other arbitrary time :)
@@beckyisj Wow yes you are correct and I could have not said it any better. This moment will be remembered for the rest of my life. Definitely a turning point in my thought processes.
That is so true, I love orange and grey they are some of my favorite colors. I think it would have be a moody atmospheric sketch with that orange glow while darkness is setting in. By the way nice channel you have and I can’t wait to see your passion over there. I sub straight up, that thumbnail of the altoid caught my eye, and I have been wanting to venture into gouache more. The art is just gorgeous 🥹. I think I am going to love your channel!!!
best time to paint here for the light is about noon, except sunsets here are gorgeous so if you wanted to paint some really lovely coloured clouds, that would be the best time 😀

That sounds like an awesome way to spend your mornings! Love that your kit is so lightweight too

Morning artist raise ur hands😆🖐️ I agree that nature sound in that time helps in calming that coo coo brain of mine😅
*raises both hands*!!!
That artificial light actually looked pretty cool. I’d imagine it’d be a pain to do on location tho :)

their channel is AWESOME
You would have to bring a bunch of fans if you want to paint outside in HK summer!
