Spent too long trying to protect someone I once loved. We met online, met in reality. He got back with his ex and then broke up after a few weeks. I lost my best friend as well as my love while he made no effort with me at all and only spoke to me when it suited him. Emotionally messing me up by telling me that he loved me. I had to pull myself together and block that person, it became too much. To this day, I'm still hurting from it, and I wonder if it's still hurting him as much. I try and avoid his social media because it makes me think of all the good times we had, which then makes me forget about all the bad he did to me. 💔

@@Mysticgirl-hf2ns it's heartbreaking, he got back with his ex and completely left me. He even told me he can talk to other people fine and struggles to talk to me. What we once had was everything to me. He meant so much to me. But deep down, he had burried his feelings for his ex and when I helped him build his confidence up, he went back to him. For a good 7 months I spent trying to fix things. I did the best that I could, I tried and tried and I eventually got tired of it. He had time to go to bars and text other people. But the one who helped him build himself up again and make sure he was okay, he couldn't find the time to talk to. It still sucks to this day but you live and learn. Things move forward.
