One can either spend hours surfing RUclips videos...or...just go straight to Chris's videos and get the solid and clear understanding you were looking for.....Respect and Thanks Chris!!!
Great explanation! Thanks heaps for the video, it has really helped me understand CPAP in APO more than just "it splints airways and improves o2" Thanks mate!
i was on life support 2018, sleep apnoea treated to late, i got phumonia, came out with weak lungs plus fluid on the legs and body, i now have a ResMed 10 sleep machine, but none of this knowledge has been applied to my illness, it was a case of suck it and see, i became my own DR, my apnoea's are down from 24phr to 0.4 phr, but the fluid is still on my body, i never knew about triggering the receptor's with pressure. someone needs to wake the uk DRS up.
Why is it cautiously given in right heart failure ?? Z this because of increased intrapulmonary pressure during CPAP, which causes back flow and aggravates right sided failure?? And how much should we adjust PEEP and why??
Just diagnosed with CHF ( I prefer Congestive heart malfunction ! ). Looking for data showing benefits and perhapreliance on CPAP at night . Woulld dessicant be added to remove fluid from lungs ? Efficacy studies available ?

great video sir. I really appreciated this. I hate when ppl say Pulmonary edema needs Cpap/BiPap , but I don't have an explanation physiologically.
Jesus is Lord

Thank you. New things as on too me.

your heart will malfunction, if your sleep apnoea has been left so long, the heart is doing overtime to pump oxygen around the body, hope your ok.
