i was on life support 2018, sleep apnoea treated to late, i got phumonia, came out with weak lungs plus fluid on the legs and body, i now have a ResMed 10 sleep machine, but none of this knowledge has been applied to my illness, it was a case of suck it and see, i became my own DR, my apnoea's are down from 24phr to 0.4 phr, but the fluid is still on my body, i never knew about triggering the receptor's with pressure. someone needs to wake the uk DRS up.

great video sir. I really appreciated this. I hate when ppl say Pulmonary edema needs Cpap/BiPap , but I don't have an explanation physiologically.

Why is it cautiously given in right heart failure ??
Z this because of increased intrapulmonary pressure during CPAP, which causes back flow and aggravates right sided failure??
And how much should we adjust PEEP and why??

your heart will malfunction, if your sleep apnoea has been left so long, the heart is doing overtime to pump oxygen around the body, hope your ok.
