Course Summary
Are you preparing to place an Occlusal or Class II composite restoration and envisioning a result that’s esthetic, functional, and flawless, only to find the outcome falls short? Have you experienced the same frustration with your temporaries? In the fast-paced world of clinical practice, techniques and materials are constantly evolving. Adapting to these changes can be challenging, but with the right approach, they can also be straightforward and rewarding.
Dr. Tomaro will share with the participants techniques and materials that are designed to create predictable results of routine clinical procedures.
Don’t forget to register your Dental Assistant and Hygienist for this course! In some states, assistants can place composite restorations and fabricate temporaries, while hygienists, with their extensive patient interactions, can benefit from understanding these techniques to identify and address restoration issues effectively and support the overall restoration process.
Learning Objectives:
1. Create proper preparation design
2. Select and apply appropriate techniques and materials for design
3. Understand bonding techniques with total etch or self etch
4. Explore layering, contouring, shaping, composites and temporaries
5. See the ease of placing anatomy and polishing composites
