- Afternoon walk along the bank of the River Nidd in Upper Nidderdale, Yorkshire Dales. Taking the odd photo with a new camera. No photos in this video, but there will be in the next.
The road through Blubberhouses on the A59 is closed due to the edge of the road disappearing. Unknown when it'll re-open again.

lovely walk, difficult to beat the dales! I bet that's a cracking spot for trout come April. I think I would have had to take a trotting rod and some brandlings with me! 👍
A lot of it is quite shallow at normal levels with the odd deeper snaggy sections.
Some of it's changed since last year. I should imagine it changes after every flood. The 'gate' is a debris trap to try and stop the culvert under the road getting blocked.
I did think it was for debrs when editing the video. Thanks for confirming
Just found this channel. Really great I live not far from Otley and I like fishing and walking. Says it all
Thank you for the kind comment. I can't wait to get out fishing again in March. It's just a little too wet, rainy, windy and cold at the moment.
