There is definitely an underreporting for the increasing working stress and burnout for the pharmacy profession
Maybe the pharmacists who were most distressed left the field or transitioned to a new pharmacy-related job they were more satisfied with when the pandemic pushed things too far for them? I know I quit during the latter half of the pandemic.
